I think so. I wish people would say what the email subject line is. I didn't get it at least. It would show my torture time with Criminal Girls 2....
I got this email two weeks ago. All I did was search "Sony" in the email inbox and look for it. Here's the subject line:

Boo didn't get it. BTW Sony should adopt something like Nintendo where it shows how long you've played an application. Would be helpful me thinks.

I'm thinking everyone who opted in for emails when word of the $10 credit going out a little while back is who ended up on the list to get the summary email. I have no proof of that I just remember lots of people trying to find any way to opt-in for emails from Sony so if you did that but still didn't get the summary then who knows.

I've always been opted in to get marketing emails, but I didn't get the year in review one.

But we're CAGs! Honestly, I actually prefer to play the GO games on mobile and being on the GO (sorry, bad pun), I play them where they'd probably get put in the backlog on console.
That doesn't mean that mobile people value those games enough to pay much more than $0.99 unless it's something they really want. The prices are so tiny because the audience largely considers them worthless. Console players don't really have a problem paying more of a fair price for games, so developers are more willing to charge what they think it's actually worth.

Oh, I agree and it's also pretty screwed up. People on mobile were freaking out that the developer of Binding of Issac had the audacity to charge $14.99 for the mobile port.

F2P and the race to $.99 on mobile is destroying the premium gaming market on mobile and that sucks because there have been some great original games and ports on mobile.

That said, as a cheap ass I just wouldn't pay 5 or 10x more for a port of a mobile game on console unless it really brought more to the table.

You're right Frisky. I don't value them. I won't spend 99 cents on a Mobile games but would literally buy anything on PSN for 99 cents.

I guess I don't trust the quality of the games on mobile. I mean, there's 1000 Candy Crush clones. How do I know which one is worth the money (assuming they're not F2P)? Plus there's nearly no reviews ever.

If it is a quality game (like a Final Fantasy), I don't want to use a touch screen on my phone. Maybe it's a better experience but I've just never done it. Maybe if I had a Gameboy Phone with real buttons.

But still Lara Croft GO is nowhere worth $6 on sale when Child of Light is similarly priced.

Anyone know how to opt in with Sony?  I searched their support but failed...

Mobile is a crash course in how to almost crash a market.    The race to the bottom price wise just to try to get noticed was fast and furious, and then they finally had to go 'free' just to compete, giving rise to the fast evolution of various freemium models.

yeah, it was not scary and instead more like a campy horror film like Evil Dead. literally we gave the same rating.
I felt some tension during a few parts of the game and a handful of jump scares got me. I wish they would have
stayed with the grindhouse feel of the early parts of the game instead of going the Evil Dead route.
I'd give it a 7.5 or so with the main problems being the controls getting in the way during some boss fights and the low quality textures.

That's about the only thing Nintendo has over Sony. :D Anyway, I have both boxes checked in my account settings pertaining to receiving e-mails but the only things I ever get from Sony are related to making purchases from the store.

Great attitude. You're missing out on a lot of quality games. There are many amongst the F2P garbage like Candy Crush. But go ahead and ignore them.

Even Lara Croft GO is better than a lot of the crap on PSN.

I think the problem here is that people think that Candy Crush is the only representation of what a mobile game is. I've never played Candy Crush. Don't want to. I'm an Android fanatic, and I would recommend games like Battle for Polytopia, Space Grunts, and Soul Knight as examples of truly addictive Android experiences with actual good gameplay. And definitely get a controller.

Yeah, there is a stigma attached to mobile that IMO is unwarranted but exists because of the perception of games like Candy Crush. There are hardcore gaming experiences. And I will admit that they wouldn't be easy to find if you didn't follow mobile gaming.

There are even great games with touch interfaces. Like I even feel the mobile ports of many PC/console strategy games work better with touch.

Anyway, probably sounded snarky with my earlier comment but I do feel like mobile gets the shaft when it shouldn't.

If you leave your home and come back and someone has broken in and stolen all of the games, it would give you an even worse feeling than your digital licenses going poof. There is no safe option... just do what you feel comfortable doing and live your life. At any moment it can all be taken away without notice.

This is how I feel. Sure I'd be pissed... but... in a weird way it would be completely freeing. The backlog blues wouldn't be quite so big.
I don't think it would be worth it to steal someone's physical games vs the trade in value they would get.

I don't understand why people are paying $100+ for GR Remastered when you can get the digital copy on PSN for $30.
The physical copies were an extremely limited run available through only through Amazon (noted in the eBay headings). They are collectors items.

I think I heard on the Player One Podcast that Amazon has officially run out of stock of this game so sellers are having a field day jacking up the price.

I love Gravity Rush and bought my copy when it was first released. I never thought it would become so expensive. Now I wish I kept it sealed or got a second copy.

You need to look at completed sales to see if people are actually paying that to see if that's how much it's worth. People can ask anything but there needs to be a lot of completed sales at that price to show it actually has increased in value.

Pretty sure when the price is green like in his photo that means it's sold listings.

That's my issue. I'm not going to carry around a controller. When I have one, I will also have my consoles. So on mobile, I almost exclusively play games that are mostly designed for mobile.

I know the Secret of Mana port is great, and I gladly bought it, but I still can't play it on my screen without getting frustrated at the control.

Some games translate perfectly fine, like Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. But anything with real-time use of the D-Pad is an automatic no for me.

Like stated, those ARE completed sales.

Who wants to bet the PS Plus games are coming off of this Essentials Sale list? Don't see why else they're holding off the announcement so long. Picked up Transistor and Metro Redux, crossing my fingers I get something new in February.

The PS Plus games are always announced during whichever week contains the last Tuesday of the month, so the announcement should occur next week. Since there are five Tuesdays in January this year, the wait is longer.

If Metro is on the list, there will be blood in the streets. It was in the flash sale and in the current sale and the PS3 versions were already Plus games. Also, I just bought Redux, so i'll be really bummed. I expect it to be Plus eventually, though.

In December I got a new copy from Prime Now for $15. My girls love playing it and now play part 2 like they are in a cult

whenever we get to the point of the servers going down it'll probably mean zombies and we will have bigger shit to worry about anyway

you can always play tic tac toe or paper rock scissors in the survivor bunker

the man can never take those from you
unless the man / zombies takes your hands :p

You can't actually own anything because one day you will die and you don't get to bring anything you "own" with you. Boom!
unless you bury your stuff in your box like some people >.>

Trials of Cold Steel for vita. Should I, or shouldn't I?
which one? As if you want the first the le is available physically new for 30$. I own both the first and second but only played the first at release and its ok but a very weak start to a possible trilogy of titles. great turn based combat meh everything else. Also be warned that the there is supposedly lag/slowdown on the vita version.

Story ends abruptly in 1 and 2 is required to finish it up annoyingly. I was very disappointed with how they paced the content and story as had instead of wasting time with fetch quests and marks had they shown what class b was doing I would of felt the game was worth the 60-70 hours it takes to complete. Or at least let you do the other side stuff on a second playthrough.

Between the voice work cutting in and out and the low quality story scenes with the in game models the game felt very lower budget/effort from xseed. Granted I read that the issues with reans voice work was coding or something but still it hurt the experience and I would of been fine waiting for them to fix it or add in a patch.

Anyone play Civilization Revolution 2 Plus for the Vita? I enjoyed Civilization Revolution for the PS3, this Vita version looks similar but I would appreciate any input. I read some reviews but trust your opinions more.

I would be pissed too if it was Metro since I already bought it and have not touched it yet. There are so many older titles that they could give us.

Assasins Creed 4, Knack, Killzone shadow fall, battlefield 4, need for speed rivals, watch dogs, infamous second son, alien isolation, dragon age inqusition, sniper elite 3, shadow of mordor, far cry 4, murdered soul suspect, transformers rise of dark spark, wolfenstein

just pick any of those. I have said this before, but I do think it would be really awesome if they did a ps plus title of an older mutliplayer game to breathe some light into it again like battlefield 4 or soemthing.

Hmmmmm. Yea. May end up just skipping it. I haven't even played Trials in the Sky yet. Thanks for the input.

So having gotten Toro last night I can say that it is probably the worst PS4 game I have played. I played both Life of Black Tiger and Orc Slayer and Toro is worse. The mechanics seem broken and one's ability to successfully evade the bull seems entirely luck based once the button sequence is entered. Maybe I just suck at this game, but even for trophy hunters I wouldn't get this one.

So apparently The Crew Wild Run is supposed to be on sale but I can't even find it on the PSN store at all. Like it doesn't exist. Only the base game is on sale. Any one else not able to find it or am I going crazy?

Jury's mostly out on whether tits is necessary to cold steel. if anything the azure and zero games would be the ones that are more directly connected to cold steel but those remain unlocalized.

Not deal related, but it wasn't until earlier today when I was looking for my launch day purchase of Yakuza 5 for PS3 in my PSN download list that I learned that I had bought several games that I didn't even know that I owned. They weren't PS+ games since I let my Plus lapse two years ago. Some of the games were games that I was thinking about buying. Has this ever happened to any of you guys?

After seeing your earlier post about it I did some research and came up with similar results. I would go for it if it was like an hour or two to Plat but the estimated time in the PST guide is 4-6 hours and I could spend those hours on a much better game.

This one?

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/the-crew/cid=UP0001-CUSA00221_00-THECREWSCEA00001

Edit: I know the description only says The Crew but I searched "crew" and it said that was the Wild Run edition.
That link brings me to the base game. No where on the page does it mention the Wild Run expansion. If you do a search for Wild Run PS4 on google the link brings you to the Wild Run PSN store page but it no longer exists. Just want to make sure it's not some weird region thing because I'm canadian or something.

I think there's a place where the deals are listed. I think. 8-[
Instead of being sarcastic perhaps you can link me to the damn game.
