Losing PT was a massive, massive deal. PT has been and continues to be incredibly influential not just in basically creating an entire genre of videogames, but also bleeding over into influencing many other genres. It's like if you couldn't find a download of Rogue anymore or if the original Castlevanias and Metroids were lost. If you care at all about video game development and artistic influences, PT is massively important to understanding that. Its loss makes it like the Metropolis or Joan of Arc of videogames (or hell, the original cuts of Star Wars).

About the "physical vs. digital" yeah there's not much of a debate if the question is just "which is better?" or something silly like that. But there is plenty of interesting issues surrounding licensing/media/archival etc that are interesting to discuss. Well, some people won't find them interesting at all personally, but they are very interesting. Hell, you can get a Ph.D. in library sciences just to discuss archival issues.

Did loosing PT suck? Yes. Of course it did. It cemented everyone's hatred for Konami, and I was just as upset as the next "Uber nerd" that it was removed from PSN. But did it create and entire genre of games? No. it didn't. It's nothing more then a first person horror game, which there have been PLENTY of in the past. All it did was introduce a creative and original way of revealing a new video game. Nothing more.

The combat may not be quite as insane as Bayonetta, which I also adored, but it does have that frantic feel and mix of melee and shooting. There's also a lot of diversity with shmup type levels and perspective changes.

Not surprised but still not sure I could justify the cost. Both programs are great for people just coming to the systems.

It's more that he's become even more of an unrepentant troll that only seeks to stir shit up and when he gets called out for it, he plays the victim card like he wants to never be questioned about anything he ever does ever again. His inability to ever accept responsibility for his actions forces Greg and the others to have to say something and take responsibility for his actions and apologize to their fans is a selfish thing to do to your supposed co-workers and friends frequently. Even seeing portions of their fanbase being so bought into his thing that they'd go so far as to attack the other KF guys and the rest of the fans because they feel they have to speak out about it is such a ridiculous thing that has come out of this antagonistic streak that Colin has going on right now. Ultimately, this is Colin's doing and he has to reap what he has sown, which means he can now be Glenn Beck's new best friend.
