That looks kinda interesting though I lost the majority of my interest in sports games when it seemed like they are targeted mostly at people who enjoy competing against other players. I prefer playing solo.

Although, watching that made me feel nostalgic for NBA Hangtime. That game was a hoot.

There was a crazy $9.99 sale the blue ones at Best Buy for DS3 a while back and then there was a $16.xx sale on red at Sears when they still had a gaming department. Currently, at Walmarts around here, if they still have any stock left then DS3 is on clearance for $20 for all colors except for gold at regular price & black at $39.96 I think. I was only able to get a white controller. (Walmart's staff handing returns is not too bright, I spotted a clearly preowned white DS3 controller in the batch coz the box's seals were tampered with and there was questionable stuff on the thumbsticks & in the indented arrows around the directional pad as well as random cotton fibers I noticed lol.)

You can try for the PlayStation TV bundles that come with the DS3 controller in black for $29.96 or whatever at Walmart too if stock is still available.

making it an online multiplayer game is fine but you screw people like me over twice with it as a single player because it's online multiplayer only and you gave it away as one of the free games so essentially it's a game that will sit there until it dies and gets deleted like dead star or whatever it was called

Tried that Legend of Kay having gotten it with the Humble Bundle. Seems like there's a decent game there but the voice acting is so horrible it's hard to keep playing. Was it redone as part of the remaster?

You should have gotten them from Best Buy last November. I picked up two new Dualshock 3 (Black) there. They were being clearanced out for $29.99. Now I have five Dualshock 3 controllers all in pristine condition after cleaning my older ones. I trust Best Buy more than Amazon when it comes to controllers because at Best Buy, their items are legit. As for a backup PS3, check ebay. I was lucky to score one for $35 and another for $65 both in good or excellent condition. Gave one to my brother while I still have two. FYI, Best Buy has the Dualshock 4 Starter kit for $39.99. Not sure how long it will last. I believe Target and Walmart still sell Dualshock 3 controllers. Best of luck to you as new Dualshock 3 controllers are getting harder to find at retail stores.

When it comes to video games at work, I have to have a handheld that's relatively inconspicuous. I work at a college and things often get stolen there. I can keep the PSP Go in my pocket and no one gets wise. I even found a preowned case for it that closes over the screen so it doesn't get scratched. I've got 29 PSP games on it which is more than enough. But every time I play it, I remember why it failed: small screen size, recessed buttons, and a proprietary memory card.

I'd grab a third party M2 memory card if I could find one for cheap. I have more PS1 games on my PSN account than I have room for. On a related note, the PSP Go was the system that introduced me to digital games since I didn't care much about digital copies before buying one. Now the majority of my purchases are digital. In fact, the first downloads in my PSN history are PSP games that I bought for the Go. I guess that was the front door to the rabbit hole!

I'm always trying to figure out which 360/ps3 games to replace physical with digital because I collect mainly digital now but I wanna keep in mind what may be released on the ps4/one in either port or some sort of remaster

If you havn't tried out Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime,  it's the perfect game to introduce non-gamers to some real video gaming. Challenging and fun. My wife keeps begging me to play more of this with her... and she doesn't play videogames!!!

Just went to buy Heart&Slash and discovered that I was missing a good chunk of my wallet funds. Turns out Playstation Plus auto-renewed last week even though I am sure I turned it off after it happened last year. Perhaps when I got my Pro and activated it as my primary PS4, auto-renew was turned back on?

I imagine every time you set up a new system or even just renew your PS+, it tries to default back to auto-renew. It seemed to have done that with me the last two times I renewed using the store bought cards

Simple solution to auto-renew: don't ever put a credit card on your PSN account.  Really, there's no reason to do this.  If you need to add some PSN credit, buy a code from Amazon (or wherever) and throw it on.  This also prevents the "my kid just spent $100 on my PSN account" type issues.

Not really the simple solution to auto-renew since the wallet funds were from back when Raise.com offered an extra discount on Gamestop gift cards and I used it for $100 in PSN credit. Not a big deal anyway since I want to keep Plus but it's something for people to keep in mind when they switch out PS4s. Might see if I can get a pro-rated refund since it auto-renewed just a week ago and get a 12 month Plus card from Best Buy for $50.

Yes, unfortunately wallet funds are still a problem. I tend to just push my PS+ subscription out by at least 1.5 years and never let it get close to expiration - this makes it easy to buy PS+ cards only when they go on sale.
