Do you have anything else to play?? IMO the game is not worth your time but for $4 you could do worse. It is very pretty and the story is okay for what it is. About 6 hours of gameplay. Maybe a bit more to Platinum if care enough to do it.

No, it's supposed to be a range, like 2-8 and not 2v8. It just only supports the minimum number and awkwardly lists it as 2-2 because, I'm guessing, the forms the devs fill out for that stuff don't realize that's a possibility.

Do you have anything else to play?? IMO the game is not worth your time but for $4 you could do worse. It is very pretty and the story is okay for what it is. About 6 hours of gameplay. Maybe a bit more to Platinum if care enough to do it.

I feel like The Order for $4 is the perfect answer to the query posed a few days ago about the correlation between cost and length of games. As someone with a full-time job, girlfriend and a side project making games, I don't have the time for these 60~200 hour epic games. I now prefer games I can complete and plat in a short amount of time. I'm sure I could enjoy playing 200 hours of some epic game overall, but I know that not only would I get burned out by it every once in a while, hut it may end up being the only game I play all year. I'd rather play 10 six hour games in a six-month period than one 60 hour game. My backlog is not going to get any smaller otherwise.

However, I'm also not going to spend $60 on a six hour game; it's just not worth it to me. I played through Job Simulator Saturday night from start to finish, did everything and got the Platinum, in about three hours time. It was a fun game, but $30 for three hours is a rip-off to me. Heck, I used the 20%-off PSN coupon and got it for $24 and I still feel ripped off.

But a six hour game, like The Order, for $4? That's the perfect length of time for me at a price that doesn't make me feel like I'm being ripped off. Mind you, I haven't played the game so I can't give my opinion of the experience, but as far as price per length, this is my sweet spot.

I've played the shit out of FarCry 4 since I got the complete edition used(code wasn't used) for about $16. I'm only missing two trophies - one co-op one and "Misdirection"; I've put about 30 hours total in the game. 24 main campaign, maybe 3-5 for the Valley of the Yeti campaign and that's getting every trophy on there. The game is a TON of fun and I liked it way more than I thought I would and i really enjoyed 3 and especially Blood Dragon.

WIth all that said....$12 isn't TERRIBLE for the DLC, but just know that the Yeti campaign is pretty short and really repetitive. It has 5 Night Survival missions which are essentially horde mode missions. I think 8 or 9 "upgrade" missions for those night missions - you'll want to do these to make those Night survivor missions easier - which can be really short "Collect this, bring it here" or "Fend off animals from a pack of Yaks" kind of stuff - they're pretty short and not very exciting, and 6 or so "main" relic missions which aren't as good as the main campaign.

I honestly never messed with the other stuff in the pass; multi-player was pretty dead and not very fun at all. $12 is a tough pill to swallow, but if you really really REALLY love FarCry, you'll enjoy it since it's just more of it.

Then definitely save yourself $12. Had it not been for the Complete Edition that I got for the same price as regular version, I probably would not have bothered with the Valley of the Yeti DLC. You'll get a solid 15-18 hours out of the campaign if you're not rushing through.

I personally stopped at AC:3 (never even finished it). Burnt out big time. Picked up Syndicate when it was $8 on BF and it totally renewed my love for AC. Amazing game and great atmosphere. That's my vote.

Syndicate. Unity is a mixed bag to me, although to be fair, I haven't played it since before they patched a bunch of stuff. I think most people tend to rank Unity as one of the worst AC games. Syndicate kept/improved on most of the things I liked about Unity, and it was a blast to play. I also really enjoyed the Jack the Ripper DLC. I assume you've probably already played the Ezio trilogy? Chronicles is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer - personally, I enjoyed the games, but they are obviously very different from a typical Assassin's Creed game.

Main draw with the season pass is the Freedom Cry DLC. I think it's around 4-8 hours in length (depending on your play style), and you play as Adewale. If you enjoyed Black Flag, you'd probably enjoy Freedom Cry.

I found it to be a decent rental, but I also went into it with lowered expectations well after it had been released. Looks great, gameplay is typical cover based shooter that probably doesn't take full advantage of its setting, and the platinum is straightforward (I just wrote down how many collectibles there were per level so I knew when to stop searching every nook and cranny).

The game isn't a world beater by any means and I wish they used some of the Steampunk setting a bit more (you only use the more unique guns a few times, mostly stuck with generic guns) but it's also not a big time or money commitment if it at all interests you. And the price is low enough that you wouldn't be better off buying physical and then trying to sell it/trade it in.

I bought the game for $10 in 2015. Beat it but did not bother attempting the Platinum trophy. Much like you, I work a ton of hours and have lots of family obligations. Money is not the issue, time is. I felt that I could have spent my time better playing anything else in my backlog or just playing a few hours of Destiny with friends. Nothing against the game but I just did not find it time well spent. At $4 for most people it is a no brainer. For your average CAG that has 100+ backlog you are better off spending the time playing some of those games.

The Order is a good game, I spent 5 for it physical at one point and enjoyed it.  You probably wont be disappointed as long as you keep in mind that the game ends just when you really start getting intrigued.  There should be a law against ending a new IP on a cliffhanger.

PS: It's crazy how much discussion this game is getting on Reddit when we're talking about a $4 game. Meanwhile, crickets when it comes to an almost equally low priced game in God of War 3.
