Yea let me know if that shit is worth $13. Looks fun but as we all know, looks can be deceiving.

Beat 8 levels tonight and have thoughts. Lacks sense of speed, barebones presentation, lack of visual variety. Car feels like it's heavy and skids too easily. Will finish it but lacks the charm that old crash mode brought to the table.

Every level has a bronze, silver, and gold score goal and a global leaderboard. If you enjoy the game, that can add some longevity. Also if you either get all cash pickups, possibly in a specific order you earn a big cash bonus called a grand slam. I only managed to do that once and it was by accident, lol.

For the price it will give enough playability to be a reasonable value but presentation and controls make it forgettable.

Sony hasn't been advertising PS3 or Vita additions to the Instant Game Collection for awhile now. Probably trying to prepare people for the possibility they'll discontinue free games for those systems in the future. My gut is telling me PS3/Vita will still get something this month though.

Low key hoping that Sony does one last blowout of free games before discontinuing PS3/Vita IGC support. Would be nice if we got either a bunch of new free games, or a "best of" collection of previous PS3/Vita IGC games (for people who haven't been subscribers since day 1).

I'm only a little over an hour into the first game, but it doesn't seem like much has been done other than minor upscaling and trophy support. But for me personally, it plays almost exactly how I remember, and I was left pretty satisfied. It also looks like you also get immediate access to the DLC characters (Can't remember if this was how it was originally.) Outside of that, I had a blast. My GFs son is now super into it and it makes for pretty much the perfect couch co-op game for us given that he already knows most of the characters and universe.

I've really enjoyed playing through some of the Ultimate Alliance re-releases. The controls seem responsive and I can't report any problems. Ultimate Alliance II, which I never got to when it first came out is especially fun with it's Civil War theme and 'fusion' team attack system. I'll admit to being stuck a few places on hard difficulty.

The cheat codes still work too so it's possible to look up the old 'unlock all characters' cheat and use it on PS4.

My biggest 'gripe' is that, and I don't remember which characters, there are a few heroes that were originally 'exclusives' for certain systems in the original release that are still not included here - maybe that makes sense but if they're going to 'remaster' then it might have been nice to see the extra characters added in. You basically get the PS3 characters + any DLC (for example She-hulk and Sentry were in UA2 on PS2/Wii are 'missing' here).

If you like Diablo style games or comics the Ultimate Alliance games seem like easy 'wins' provided you can tolerate some dated graphics (obvious in screenshots).

Three Fields is a bit too small to do that sort of project, which is why their games are smaller in scopes and Danger Zone is kind of exactly what people have been wanting out of them.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" album and Get the Funk Out pack. Thought they would never be available for RB4. Was especially bummed about the RHCP album. From my paid content, only missing RHCP - "Snow ((Hey Oh))". I still have (more than) a few tracks missing that were songs by the local Boston bands that Harmonix gave away for free originally (8 from Rock Band 1 Export, 9 from Rock Band Free Pack, and 3 others), but were delisted. Of those, I would be happy to just see "Brainpower" by Freezepop available. On the Harmonix Rock Band forums, they have stated the 8 + 9 were planned to be available eventually, but the posts are old.

No, just got it around this last Black Friday - Christmas. Amazon had a great price on the full band kit (with the Rivals version). I really needed a replacement for my old beat up drum kit and was waiting on a decent price for the entire setup.

Brainpower isn't listed separately unfortunately . But good for you, really like the Freezepop songs. Of course first heard 'em from Frequency.
