[quote name="kickrockz713" post="12944796" timestamp="1443566986"]Definitely getting Nathan Drake collection on launch after playing the demo. I've beaten Uncharted 1 & 2 three times each but still haven't played more than 15 minutes of 3. Maybe I'll finally get to it now lol.[/quote]
I somehow skipped 3 so looking forward to playing the newer version

After playing so much MGS V, it took me a while to adjust to the Uncharted controls for the demo. At first I thought the load time was incredibly fast since it went to the cutscene so quickly, but immediately after the cutscene ended it went to a load screen.

I am tempted to buy Corpse Party, but I do not enjoy horror content in the least. I cannot stomach extremely violent content.

But, I did just buy Silent Hill 2 recently...

Does Corpse Party ever go lower than $10?

I feel like if I buy it, it'll hit $4.99 in a couple months and I'll hate myself.

Actually I wanted to correct myself about yesterday. On Sony's PlayStation Vue Facebook page, they posted:

Thanks for waiting on the announcement. We are excited to announce that we've recently partnered up with ESPN and Pac12 Network. More details coming.

Nice. I spoke to soon. I will be signing up again when I see the ESPN channel listed.

Woot!

Not terribly impressed by the Uncharted demo. Was that from Uncharted 2?
Yeah, I mean, it was only one of the best games of the past generation that reminded a whole lot of people what it was like to have pure adrenaline packed fun while gaming.

You've probably got another 6 months of waiting. Why not save the $20 up and pay the dude who spent 5 plus years making it by himself for the hard work he put in on a great game?

I know this is CAG but seriously if you can't scrap $20 to reward those who truly deserve it then I don't know what to tell you other than I hope it never goes on sale.
Seriously. It's all fine to buy up games we don't really care about for $1 in flash sales, or grab them in glitches for $5, or whatever, just to pile them into our never gonna play backlog... but when a game comes out that truly 'checks all the boxes' for what we love in gaming, we need to step up and support it.

I realize we can't support everything, but if we're counting the months till a highly anticipated game might go on sale to save us five or ten bucks, it's probably worth supporting.

It was, but it also hasn't aged all that well. The game came out what, 6 years ago? I was stoked to plan the demo but was disappointed. I'll still probably get it but not at $60. Hoping redbox has it.

Maybe it means we'll have a different - read, better - lineup than EU and they want to keep it a surprise. How awesome would it be if they annoyed us by not posting the full list and then when they update the PlayStation page, we get retail titles?

This is why I preordered Yakuza 5. The pre-release discount helped, but no doubt I wanted to own this game. Same for throwing money at the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter. But to be fair to those more interested in a cheap price than a great game, most games I buy fall into the category of games I don't really care about. I mean, yeah I care enough to buy em because I'm curious or whatever... but few game series really ignite my gaming passion enough to pay full price.

Lowest was $9 each (PS+ price), last Sale of the Dead (1-2 week late October Sale). So it might be on sale for cheaper then or it might just have moved its sale to earlier this year since the sequel comes out in the middle of October.

I was wrong. No black flag next month. Instead we get broken age and the boy made of meat that's apparently super.
Only two games were revealed. PS3 version of AC:BF could still happen... and technically they didn't say these were the only PS4 games for PS+ in October.

I'm surprised though they are dropping the PS+ version of Drive Club. I wonder if it's just no longer going to be free or if it's going to get pulled from purchase histories and stuff too.

I highly doubt Playstation throws in anymore PS4 games. Maybe another indie title, but nothing major. While I would of preferred Black Flag (Mark my words it will be free before the year ends), Broken Age isn't too bad of a choice.

As for Driveclub, Im getting a feeling that $20 bundle that includes everything might become permanent, if the ps+ version is leaving.

Silent Hill 2 isn't really all that violent, all things considered. It's a psychological horror game, so it alludes to a lot of horrific violence without showing much. Play it, it's as good as video game horror gets by a loooooong shot. I don't care about horror myself, and I loved it.

Anyway, good month. I've been wanting to play Broken Age.

Ah... so IGN had the full list...

  • Broken Age (PS4 / Vita)
  • Super Meat Boy (PS4 / Vita)
  • Unmechanical Extended (PS4 / PS3)
  • Kickbeat (Vita / PS3)
  • Kung Fu Rabbit (Vita / PS3)
  • Chariot (PS3)
Not a bad list for us at all.

Did no one read Strider's post? The full EU list was revealed. The NA list was not. The IGN article is based on the EU list but most likely we'll get the same thing.

The IGN article I thought made it clear this was the US list as well. if it's not, well, so be it. Either way, it's cool to get Broken Age and Super Meat Boy as I've wanted to play both but never enough to buy them on other platforms.

Don't get me wrong. I played all 3 games on PS3 and loved them. As a returning fan of the franchise, I was excited to play the demo. I thought it was okay; however, It didn't make me want to go out and buy it day one though.

better then Games for Gold next month, which is Valiant Hearts and Walking Dead Season 1, and then Walking Dead again on the 360 along with 360 Ground Zero.

Agreed. I think next month is the worst GwG lineup ever considering anyone who has both X1 and 360 already has Ground Zero on the One from GwG. Anyone who ever possibly had any desire to have WD has surely gotten it by now as well.

Even if they are indie, at least Sony gives out a larger number of games, giving a good possibility that you won't own at least one or two,

(PS4 Link)
  • You can now adjust the setting for video resolution when using remote play on a PS Vita system. Select (PS4 Link) > [Start] > (Options) > [Settings] > [Video Quality for Remote Play] > [Resolution].
  • If video or audio skips during playback, try selecting [Low (360p)] to help improve the quality.
(Parental Controls)

  • You can now restrict (Email) from starting.

I own zero of the ps plus games for October 2015, but none of them really interest me except for maybe super meat boy since I have heard good things.

I got real excited when AC4 was rumored since I loved that game, but only played it on PS3. I would have totally played it again and gone for the platinum.

Looking forward to Super Meat Boy and Unmechanical Extended. I have the rest in various forms. Kung Fu Rabbit is a solid platformer that has some easy trophies. Broken Age is pretty good as a modernized old school adventure game. I liked KickBeat as a pure rhythm game, though the soundtrack itself is obviously something that may not appeal to many people.

Not a bad list per se, but not really good either. Indies again...I like indies, but man, a AAA title every once in awhile would be good. Super Meat Boy is excellent but most folks played that within the last 6 years it's been for sale.

Except valiant hearts and WDS1 are both better than anything on IGC this month, save for maybe meat boy.

But yeah it's not all that exciting of a month for either. At least Microsoft is allowing the 360 games to be backwards compatible, so it'll be 4 games a month for X1 in the future.

October's list doesn't excite me in the least. I know PS+ is a value for some people--I get that--but, personally, if it wasn't for the mandatory plus membership to play online PS4 games, I'd drop it. The only game I downloaded for free was Limbo, and still haven't played it.

This, at least in terms of the 360 content. I'd say the Xbone quality is about the same as the PS4, but at least the PS4 has Vita crossbuy.

I'm usually not one to complain about the free games but... That's a shitty list
Agreed. Last month was significantly better, in my opinion. Vita crossbuy really saves the day on most of these.

Hm. An overdue Vita system update on the heels of the new PSTV exploit. Surely it's a coincidence.

I made a CAG community on the PS4 called "CAGs on PSN" that is freely available for anybody to join. Those on my PSN friendslist can most easily find it by checking out the "Friends' Communities" section under the Friends section. Anybody that isn't can search for my PSN username (CrashSpyro) and it'll be listed under my profile.

I have none of the ps+ games except Chariot and Kickbeat which I have on :xb1:. Glad to have Super Meat Boy, Broken Age, & Unmechanical so this is pretty good month for me.

If anyone has an interest in Kill Strain, PM me.  I just got a Private Access code emailed to me that I'm not going to use.  The "test" is tomorrow night and Saturday night.
