Well it came with the 4 PS2 Star Wars games that just got released according to what I read. And this isn't backwards compatibility or anything, just an option for publishers to re-release PS2 games on PS4 (and presumably charge us yet again).
We'll know more, one way or the other, at PSX I'm sure. I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised, personally. Only 2 weeks or so to wait it out.

At least they're honest about it being such a terrible and broken piece of shit that they have to refund and delist it for the few that bought it since they're not fulfilling the rest of what they promised. This is not a good game like P.T., so I would hope those affected are happy to get their money back instead of nothing.
And at least now we have a concrete example of how Sony deals with this. Ever since P.T., which was free, some have used it as an example of the horrors of our digital future where Sony might pull something we did pay for w/o notice. And now we know -- yes, in cases where a game is so broken and terrible that the company needs to stand up, apologize for it, and beg Sony to delist so as not to defraud future customers... Sony will refund everyone in the process.

I'm okay with that. Now I'm just waiting for the publisher of Rag Doll Kung Fu on PS3 to step up and do the right thing. I want my money back.

Can you honestly notice a 13 ms lag difference? I would guess that most people would only notice it in a side by side comparison and even then most people probably couldn't tell. I'm not saying you can't, but I wonder if some people just see that spec discussed and place more emphasis on it than they should.
For an avid gamer pre-25ish, possibly. Back when I played 60 FPS fighting games, probably. For normal gamers, I really doubt it. I doubt I'd have a chance in hell of noticing that nowadays.

Edit: 1 frame at 60 FPS is 16.67 ms. So it's basically losing a frame.

It was interesting the uproar and fear mongering about PT.  I mean it was free and for being a teaser game it wasn't really that good an experience.  Running through the same halls over and over... it started to give me a headache playing that.  Still for free it was worth at least checking it out.

I'll be majorly surprised if PS1 & PS2 emulation is for disc based originals.  I think this will just be another thing to push digital PSN purchases which I'm actually ok with since a lot of the really great PS1 games are mega pricey and I wouldn't mind buying more if this mean more great games coming to the service.  If we can get PS2 emulation on Vita... now that would be something awesome.

Is the bloodborne bundle a standard price of $50 Or a preorder price? I want to save my 20% coupon for that and a good sale
As a new PS4 owner, I'd like to know this too. Can't think what else that's $50+ that I would buy anytime soon.

Are the pre-order prices usually the regular prices on this kind of thing?

one of the scariest, most unique, and most memorable gaming experiences ever

How is Nocturne? Would you recommend that game to others?
I don't know, cause I haven't played it... I like SMT games (Strange Journey, SMT4) more than the spin-offs (Persona 3, Devil Survivor), so I've been meaning to go back and play it.

I haven't played Persona 4 either, but that's another story.

I would HIGHLY recommend playing Persona 4 (the "Golden" edition is going for about $9/$10) right now

Got this in an email from EA:

"Be the Playmaker and experience Madden NFL 16 for FREE from November 20th – 23rd with the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 free trial weekend."

I think this "demo" is the free trial since it's the same size as the full game.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/11/20/bloodborne-the-old-hunters-out-tuesday-patch-1-07-detailed/

Bloodborne's The Old Hunters expansion is out next week for $20 and they detail how to access the new stuff. There will also be a 1.07 update that adds new NPCs and a League faction, which acts as a form of co-op leaderboard stuff that is probably best explained by reading their description since it's a weird feature.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/11/20/wired-arcade-bundle-out-today-features-tiny-troopers-and-lets-fish/

Wired Productions, makers of Tiny Troopers Joint Ops and Let's Fish! Hooked On, are releasing a new bundle of the two games for $12.99, which is about 30% off of the combined MSRP for the two games.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 3 is out next week:

Telltale is also retweeting a bunch of stories about Game of Thrones getting a second season.

Sorry if this has already been asked but legend of heroes is two separate game purchases correct? The store labels the second one as a bundle but stays nothing about it in the description. Otherwise I'll just but the first game.

One of the best games ever made. Great atmosphere, fantastic bosses, cool demon fusing, great dungeons, endless challenge, solid combat mechanics. The best SMT game I've played, by far, and deserving of any and all accolades it gets.

I just got my cheap Bloodborne and I'm just starting out. Is there anything I need to know like the drake sword in Dark Souls or the stupid dragon shit in Demon Souls?

Not really? You'll die a lot early on, especially at the first mob, but it'll all eventually click. The one thing you really need to 'get' is that you can recover damage by attacking.... figuring out the balance where you can sustain an offensive w/o getting killled is key.

Yeah, they're two separate listings. Second Chapter is listed as a bundle because it includes two executables: one for each UMD of SC. Thing is huge.

Huge is an understatement. Took them four years just to localize it the game is so massive. One of the guys originally in charge of the localization was moments from killing himself over it the project was so daunting. The game has full length novels in it after all and you could fit several other major JRPGs in it.

The first game is massive as well but I believe the second game is twice the size.

I haven't played it yet, but Rock Band 4 immediately comes to mind. The RB3 calibration process produced numbers in ms for video and audio delay.
yea i was thinking that but i dont own it. I was asking specifially for PS+ games so i dont have to mess with disks or anything and can just download them. Still i do have a library of PS4 games i havent opened. Maybe i should list them here and someone can chime in if they have any good input lag tests on them

honestly im thinking of brining my ps3 now instead because i can think of several games there. Including Hatsune Miku which i hnk would be perfect

Im actually not sure. Thats not a huge difference but its there. It also had a tiny bit more motion blur which i am quite sensitive to. As someone else mentioned im sure when i was younger i could but im not so sure nowadays

Wow - Telltale is really moving along with those Minecraft episodes.  They've released 3 episodes in less than a month and a half, while it took Tales From The Borderlands seven months to get to that point.

I'd bet that Telltale probably decided to not launch the series until the episodes were much closer to be fully cooked while previous series were more about just getting episode out as soon as it was done. It's less time to potentially adjust things for fan feedback, but they come out faster to please the fans.

That seems to be the series that they seem the least concerned with. You know it's a bad sign when GOT get's a season 2 announcement before Wolf does. Its a shame too because imo it's their best license.
Well you have to figure that's probably their biggest license and Wolf is probably their smallest currently.

Learn to parry and vulnerable shot.

Also there is just layers of things you can learn, like the optional Bridge Boss (Cleric Beast), you can summon aid to fight.

So i figured id throw out a list of the ps4 physical games i own so people dont suggest something i dont have. Do any of you know if any would be good for testing input lag on a tv? Something like the timing on rockband as  Pheron suggested, or Hatune Miku or something. Or even just the timing of things like opening cursed chests in Kingdom of Amalur. I havent played most of them other than Killzone, Dragon Age, Wolf Among us, and  DIablo III.

Heres the physical disks i own:

That season just ends leading into the first issue, so they'd have to take it to another time for it to make sense. The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones can keep having seasons because they're separate from the main focus of those stories.than
That ending! yeesh. Really made me want more. I wanted to know who that girl really was. Do the comics continue that story?

Do you mean it leads into the first issue of the Fables: Wolf Among Us miniseries? I just assumed that was an adaptation of the game.

At any rate, it definitely doesn't lead into the first issue of the main series. The Wolf Among Us takes place about twenty years earlier.

I've never tried testing input lag, so forgive me if this isn't something that wouldn't work for your purposes, but of your list, The Order 1886 and Tomb Raider both have quite a few quick time events. I haven't played The Walking Dead Season Two yet, but I assume it does as well since the first season did.

Question for my CAGs. I already own Helldivers digitally. Is it worth getting a physical copy on Black Friday for $16 because it includes all the DLC? Is the DLC worth it? Thanks.

There are hardcover collections of the issues if you want more of that world:

http://www.amazon.com/Fables-Deluxe-Book-Bill-Willingham/dp/140122427X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448161990&sr=8-1&keywords=fables

More that from the early issues I read of Fables that there didn't seem like a ton had changed since The Wolf Among Us ends that would allow for a story of significant consequence to be told between them, though I don't know if there are backstory tales of note that they don't detail in the comics that would make for good fodder for a new series.

Should I doub;e dip Persona 4?  I never got really far on the PS2 version and I don't think it being on a handheld would make me want to play it more, but I don't have my PS2 with me so...

Golden has more content and streamlined gameplay. Plus portable.

I paid like seven dollars for P4 when Gamestop started doing 75% off PS2 games. After I beat it I gladly paid $20 for Golden.

P4 is like 80 hours long. Do yourself a favor and play the better version. There's no sense in booking yourself a mandatory return trip through.

Apart from the fact that the added girl has no redeeming qualities as a human being and her only attractive quality is that her shitty behaviors tend to line up in a cute manner half the time, it is so much improved I can't imagine what it must have been like for all the poor people who couldn't afford a Vita who played the original on release.

Might I point you to the Giant Bomb Endurance Run of P4? I watched this after playing Golden and I just kept muttering "..those poor bastards..." Fusion is *so* much better in Golden and the Shuffle Time is no longer something to dread.
