So wait, we're not allowed to talk about PSN stuff in the PSN thread now? I'm sorry, but that's way too ridiculous of a demand to make that people can't discuss the games they've bought, promotions for free stuff, or anything else having to do with PSN. If people were discussing sports or something like that like a certain other thread, I could understand the issue, but your demands that this thread have such a narrow focus that nothing besides what's in the OP should be a topic of discussion is unreasonable.

If you want the deals, they're right in the OP for easy access. If you want to discuss the deals here, feel free to discuss them. Nothing's stopping you from participating and trying to boss us around is more of a disruption than the original posts themselves.

If somebody wants to make a thread in the Free Stuff forum about Bloodborne theme promotion, that's fine, but that doesn't mean it should ever be banned from discussion here.

Risky's Revenge's only real positives are the bouncy art style, sense of humor, and soundtrack. The game itself is incredibly forgettable, a paint by numbers Metroidvania and they still keep sticking with this really terrible combat design. Like they played Castlevania and didn't come close to understanding it.

Multiple save files / save anywhere completely change how we play games, and makes certain things impossible for game designers to accomplish. In most games, I agree it's unnecessary -- in a open world game like Saint's Row, there is no need for tension. But in an arcade game like, say, Nuclear Throne, multiple save slots and save anytime would wreck the game. Same with many 'scary' games. So it's all about the specific game. I don't know about the game in question, haven't played it.

The only weakness I would have in BB is how many of the bosses are trial and error as to where and when to dodge and where to attack from. Pretty much every one requires some non-obvious trick.

And it doesn't take much to wreck Nuclear Throne because Nuclear Throne sucks.

I put both Fantavision on Okage on that twitter #PS2PS4 and they're both being released!

I'm going to ask for SSX (the original) and Burnout 3 Takedown.

Nice, Siren, Wild Arms 3, & Ape Escape 3 also. I'm loving this.

 
Anyone run into this problem? Im currently at 18 GB left on my HD that came with the console, but for some strange reason Im not allowed to download anything. Whether it be full games, dlc, hell even updates.

Yea, I didn't mean to quote your whole thing.. I was trying to make a link which shows all the avatars in a click so you can see them all without going through them individually.

 
Sorry for a super noob question. As I have stayed away from digital games thus far. 

Some games on the PSN does not seem to be available for purchase, such as: Destiny of Spirits. Any idea why? Any chance they'd be re-enabled?

oh! well, then that was awesome of him. except for the fact i have a full cart and the code was already used by someone here, which obviously sucks since I'm sure someone used it to buy infinity runner for $1.25 or something.

 
Scram Kitty DX is only listed as PS4 because the vita version isn't on sale for some reason, but the game is cross buy.   Gets solid reviews, think i might pick it up

We've had various discussions on the board already why a good # of us stay away from iOS and Tablet games.
Specifically, companies are known to upgrade the game to the point you can no longer play it with your current device, or disable it to be used entirely on said device.

Well, I play quite a few mobile games, particularly ports, and while that can happen it's worth the risk for me for price and portability.

Of course it will never replace my consoles, but mobile gaming gets an undeserved bad rap. And there are quite a few really good indie games, some ported from PC and some original, that never make it to consoles. It's not all F2P bullshit.

Anyway, sorry to derail. I was just suggesting it for a cheap way to check out Broken Sword 5.

Pretty sure you need to have double the space left on the hard drive to download something but I don't know why you can't download small stuff like updates.

Sometimes you need to restart ps4s... for example, if you delete space to make room to install a game, there is currently a bug where it's not recognized till you restart.

 
So besides the usual AAA games on sale, what's good this week? Week 1 had BL and GoT for me, week 2 the only thing I considered was Metal Slug but passed, what's everyone getting?

So, I'm a little unclear on this (Broken Sword 5). The Vita version seems to be divided into 2 separate purchases (episode 1 is full price, and episode 2 is on sale), and the 99 cent iOS version appears to be just episode 1 with the option to purchase episode 2, but I don't see any indication on the PS4 game that there is another purchase to make. Is the PS4 game just episode 1, or is it the full game?

I checked there are two parts for the game on ps4 as well!

 
I'm confused on the Broken Sword 5 bit too. Are the iOS and PS4 versions both episodes? The PC and Vita versions are sold separately. It sucks that Episode 1 is $16.99.
 
LBP3 is very tempting at that price. I'm curious what the flash sale will bring. Being a new PS4 owner, how does Sony usually handle these sales? Dailies? Shorter time windows than that ( like Amazon)?

I never played the game, but it seems it's around 8 hours game in each part. The game is about solving a puzzle about a crime. the finish the story of the crime you need the two parts. again i never played them, but that's what I know...hopefully someone confirms

Yet only part 1 is on PS4.. unless they are together..

the PSV version is 4 gigs a part.. PS4 6 for the half we get.
