How much content comes with REvelations2 season pass? I don't even know what the game consists of. 10 bucks sounds like I might be interested though.
From the link above:

The following content will become available as released starting from February 24, 2015. Content must be downloaded separately.
・Episode Two: March 3, 2015
・Episode Three: March 10, 2015
・Episode Four: March 17, 2015
・Extra Episode 1: March 17, 2015
・Extra Episode 2: March 17, 2015

・Raid Mode Character: HUNK: February 24, 2015

Glad I got I am Alive yesterday also, nice to have another game, even though with it, the month is still poop imo.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 season pass has all episodes and Hunk raid mode character.

Missing from the Season Pass but included in Deluxe (and disc) are:
Wesker raid mode character ($0.99 for PS4, $1.24 for PS3)
4 Costumes: Natalie's Lottie Suit, Moira's Ninja Suit, Barry's Commandent Costume, Claire's Rodeo Costume ($1.49 each x4)
Throwback map pack for raid mode ($2.49)
There is some talk of extra storage slots in Deluxe edition (not sure if exclusive)

Life Crystals x25 ($1.99) must be separate purchase with any edition.

So, I just realized that I forgot to add Persona 4 Arena. Has anyone had any experience with getting customer service to add these to your account after the fact?

I am alive was removed from the list so it looks like it was just an apology for the one day delay of super stardust hd. Glad I grabbed it yesterday since I did want to play it.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/02/disney-espn-networks-join-playstation-vue-reduced-prices-start-at-39-99/

Disney and ESPN's channels finally join the PS Vue lineups and they've reduced prices for the tiers by $10 each with the lowest being $39.99/month.

Details:
OK so as someone who's recently been looking at how futile it is to try and reduce your cable bill I'm still not sure what the appeal in this service is. Stand alone internet that's fast enough for something like this is still crazy expensive when you don't bundle it and dropping a TV package with more channels only saves me $40 max over. Like I'm not being snarky and are genuinely curious, are there people out there who can get a quality internet line over 10 mbps for under $70 or something?

Astound/Wave is 55mbps for $45/mo.
West coast does seem to have more options in each region than the other 2/3 to 3/4 of the country where you only have the choice of the mega corp that owns the region and some tiny company. The really messed up thing here is that Comcast's prices on standalone internet are extremely high so they discourage you from dropping cable because the savings is nothing. Wide Open West the tiny competitor here and still $60 a month for slower down and up. Really messed up though is that they actually offer a 300/20 plan that's $195 a month but if you add TV to it that drops it to $105...

What is going on with PS+ lately? It's pretty bizarre that I Am Alive was up. Maybe it was intended for a future month and someone mistakenly marked it free instead of Super Stardust.

I also just found out that Guardians of Middle Earth, the Lord of the Rings MOBA, was quietly taken off PSN without explanation. That's one of our PS+ games. Of course, the Xbox and PC versions are working just fine and are still on their respective marketplaces. To add insult to injury, it was $1 on Xbox in a past sale and I deliberately passed on it thinking I was set with my PS+ copy. I don't know when it was actually taken down but the DLC for it is still up for sale.

I like the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary theme. The images are pretty basic, but the music and sound effects are nice.

If the next seven weeks of sales mainly stick to the franchise of the week then I probably won't be buying much. Although there will be two flash sales, and once the franchise sales are done a Golden Week sale will probably be around the corner.

Ah, another themed sale focused on Resident Evil and RE: Director's Cut isn't included. If it had been similarly discounted as its PS1 counterparts were, then I likely would've snapped it up this time.

It's still accessible through your download list (as is the case with 99% of delisted games), you just can't download from it's store page anymore. It will be grouped together with all your older PS+ games and dated the last time you renewed PS+.

The servers have been shut down due to using GameSpy, so it should be delisted so nobody spends money on the game anymore.

Do the Xbox and PC versions not use Gamespy? They're still for sale on those platforms. Also, have you played MOBAs before? I always wrote off League of Legends before but I really enjoyed Guardians of Middle Earth when I played the demo on XBLA yesterday.

I don't know about PC but if I remember correctly some of the games escaped the death blow on 360 because MS made them use their servers instead.

Looks like I Am Alive is no longer a PS+ game with Super Stardust taking its place.
Thanks for the heads up. I had bought I Am Alive a while back, so it's cool to get something I didn't already own in it's place.

Anyone new to I Am Alive, it's a pretty cool survival experience. I'm glad I bought it. There's also a PS3 dynamic theme for it that I think is quite excellent. So much so that I think that's what I'm still using on my PS3 (and I don't even care about themes).

Ok I'm new to PSN. How often do flash sales occur and whats a golden week?

Yeah, I feel kind of bad getting it for free when it's been on sale for $2 for how many sales. After checking out some footage, it looks very good, what scared me off is (and still will be) the difficulty of having maybe 1 bullet at a time with 5 enemies who you need to bluff. Makes my anxiety flare right up. But a well made game that got overlooked

Astound/Wave is 55mbps for $45/mo.
Time Warner Cable 20/2Mbps $85. I could bundle and get the whole package for like $40 more, but I'm tired of being locked into a contract plan.

Golden Week is a series of Japanese holidays occurring between April 29th and May 5th (such as Emperor's Birthday, Constitution Memorial Day, Children's Day, etc) - in some past years PSN has offered japanese themed games on sale during this time.

Flash sales happen once a month. I believe its usually the third weekend and start on a Friday and end on a Monday.

Golden week is the last week of April I believe and usually has deals on Japanese games.

They've got the PS4 version, so it's the new default sale item. It'll only get "worse" after RE2/4/5/6 come out for PS4.

Probably not. I think some publishers used GameSpy for PS3 games as a shortcut to getting their online going, which bit them in the ass when they shut down. MK vs DC Universe and Gotham City Impostors are the same way and it's no surprise that they're all WB.

Ok I'm new to PSN. How often do flash sales occur and whats a golden week?
flash sales occur once every couple months. Typically one in january/feb/march, one in july one in november one in december. Games get priced anywhere from under a dollar to 10$ with more discounts occasionally for plus users though not recently. Often times if you wait for a flash sale you can get a great price on a title that will rarely happen more than once. Like south park stick of truth I got last year for 2$ during one of their flash sales.

As for golden week sale its a jpn titles sale for a jpn holiday. Its the time of year where if you want the atelier series titles which are digital only for psvita (minush escha an logy+ vita and rorona+ ps3) you can get them for around half or more off what they typically are.

Weekly sales are square enix and atlus titles sales mostly rpgs and old ps1 games. These tend to always be on sale though the prices can occasionally dip. Currently they seem to go for around 5-10$ each but in the years an such prior they were around 3-4$.

Then you have your themed sales like holidays and other publisher sales like the current one. Expect a sports game themed sale some time this month for march madness I imagine. No idea what they will do for say st patricks day or easter though.

There's some wrong stuff in here. And South Park has never hit $2. The cheapest it has been was $5, which was a price error and it didn't stay that price for long.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/03/no-mans-sky-launching-june-21st-on-ps4/

No Man's Sky will be getting a retail release for its launch. Sean says they want to keep updating the game post-launch with some more stuff that they have in mind.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/03/no-mans-sky-a-universe-filled-with-lore-and-language/

No Man's Sky many worlds to explore can feature a variety of sentient races to trade with or get offered things to do, though language is a big part of that experience since they speak their own native tongue that you will be able to decipher more as you interact with them each successive time as you learn their language and get a better rep with them for better prices and items to buy. There's a bunch of info on that in the post if you want to read more about it.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/03/introducing-koi-a-new-fish-in-the-ps4-pond/

Koi is the first game by a Chinese publisher working with the new SCE Shanghai that is coming to the PS4:

Sorry but I have no idea how that solves anything.

So No Man's Sky is going to be $60. Kind of surprised. Release Date June 21.

Considering the scale and hype I don't see why. Just because it's an indie studio doesn't mean Sony haven't built this up over at least two E3 events, gotten it magazine covers, and generally talked about it at every chance they've gotten without really showing all that much still. This is a AAA game for Sony regardless of who's making it. I mean they had it on one of those late night talk shows even (Colbert I think).

I live in Southern California. I pay $44.xx (don't remember exact figure) for 100 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload. Time Warner Cable. I don't have PS Vue, but I get the appeal if you have great internet like mine, for such a low cost. Personally, I just have Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Go to go along with an antenna for the local channels. I only care about NFL when it comes to sports so I watch HD streams online for the games I care about that aren't covered locally.

Lucky you, cause I was paying $57 for 15/1 from TWC. They recently upped the price to $60 but raised it to 50/5.

Dont buy res evil 4-6. Theyre all coming to ps4. I have 4 and 5 on ps3 already. 4 doesnt run great. The port was just ok-ish. Re 5 on ps3 was worse than 360. With that said I'll probably pick up revelations 2 season pass for ps4 as u guys have suggested.

If you're really looking forward to Specter Knight and King Knight's campaigns I'd recommend checking out some of Yacht Club Games past broadcasts on twitch to see some relics, concept art and a little bit of gameplay.
