I don't see how anyone could have thought it would be much lower after seeing Oculus and Vive pricing. Sony pretty much telegraphed the price by saying it was like console pricing which is exactly $399, I believe.

But, yes, I'll probably sit it out too. VR seems doomed to fail or at least stay a niche product for quite a long time. I'll pick it up on clearance when Sony is dumping their remaining stock of Vita's and PS VR's all in one giant fire sale. Maybe i'll finally get to try out the PS Move and try out the Wonderbook if there's any left of those items in that fire sale also.

No, I didn't expect it to be lower. But it will have to be lower before I buy it. Like you said, it'll be niche for a long time but it'll eventually come down in price like everything else.

Sorry, I should've worded "wallet" better. I was actually implying the digital one on the Store, which has a whopping $30. Thus, my hesitance of snagging the remaster at equal price, especially since I've already played through the :ps3: version in the past. But stacking more in my Store wallet later on is never a bad idea, either. I'm balancing my actual budget quite well.

Ah in that case, I feel your pain. Having to refill my Wallet has a 50/50 chance of going through, even though the card has been worked in that situation before.

I pondered that myself today before buying it. I haven't seen many deals lately on the Uncharted 3 and TLoU digital vouchers. Probably because a lot of the bundles those came with aren't made anymore and all the left over vouchers have been snatched up months ago. I also had $180ish in my PSN wallet and decided I'd rather use that on the digital copy than my real money on a possible voucher deal that might spring up.

On another subject...word through the grapevine on SD is that a Flash Sale may happen this weekend. Any thoughts? I'd love if one did. Hoping Firewatch and Layers of Fear are on there.

I think this weekend is the anniversary of the weekend last year when the infamous annual-ish 99 cent flash sale took place...so here's hoping...

Yup. If you go to /r/ps4deals on reddit, the lowest price on TLoU remastered was about $10 and that was 6 months ago. Since then the lowest price was $17 2 months ago. So the sale price has been steadily climbing. I think the reason behind it is that third party vendors can no longer get the game for cheap since it is no longer being offered for free with each PS4 console purchase.

In fact I bought my new console about 7 months ago, and sold my voucher for the game for $12 since the games price was dropping about $1 per week and I thought I could get it for about $5 soon after. Yeah.....I am kicking myself for dong that.

 
What do people think of Trails in the Sky? Both the old one and SC? 

What games are they like? And are they challenging or more about story, etc. 

 
How often does Sony offer the Spend $100 get $15 promo? I know they had one last month and then at least had another last October. Every few months? Or is that less/more common than I think?
 
Question about Garden Warfare 2 - does the deluxe edition contain items that are impossible to obtain out of the packs you buy with in-game currency in the regular edition?  I did a few googles but couldn't come up with a clear answer to this.

Pretty good game and traditional JRPG
It actually has towns and not just a menu in the place of a town, and a decent little story from what I played.
Feels more like a slice of life at first. The combat system I actually rather like, with each character having a range in combat and having to move in to do damage (Much like the old Lunar games)

I can't give you a definite answer on this, but my kids were not overly impressed with the results of the deluxe edition other than being excited for all the extra coins which are definitely obtainable. I'm pretty sure everything is obtainable or a close replica is obtainable without the deluxe add-on.

The only item you get from the deluxe that seems like it could be exclusive is the Z7 Imp variant. But I can't confirm that since I got the Z7 from pre-order (I actually can't remember the last time (if ever) I pre-ordered a game, at least I got a discount from Amazon). So far I prefer the normal Imp over the Z7 anyway, though I haven't used it much yet. I wouldn't miss it if I didn't have it. My guess is that it and the others are just early unlocks.

So, in summary: I dunno. Personally I would skip the deluxe, items unlock fast enuff and is part of the fun.

 
I think I paid $12 for my TLOUR voucher, but it would have been worth almost any price.  I think I have more time on that game's mp than any game since counterstrike back in the day.

 
i just played through the last of us remaster on PS4, first time i played it since it released almost 3 years ago

i don't know if it was the 60 fps or what but i enjoyed the game even more than the 1st time, that game is just a masterpiece and one of the best all time
