Thanks for your thoughts. I signed up for the free trial on Friday night and it sounds like my first weekend experience with the service was almost identical to your first week's. I'm anxious for you to confirm if paying for the service comes out of your PSN wallet or not.

In terms of the cloud DVR, I agree that it's a bit ambiguous- as far as I can tell, you can just hit R1 anytime to add a channel or show to "My Channels" or "My Shows," then previous episodes of all the shows in "My Shows" get "saved" to the cloud DVR (for up to 28 days, I think) and it will automatically "record" all future episodes for you. So I don't think you can just access all of your "saved" episodes of all your "My Shows" in one list like you would with a cable or satellite DVR. You have to view "saved" episodes on a show-by-show basis after going to your list of "My Shows." But, like I said, it's kind of tough to figure out, so I'm not 100% on that.

Can I buy The Last of Us Remastered for the $20 discount while using a 14-day PS Plus trial?  Also, if you use a PS Plus trial, do they auto renew?

 
Any thoughts on Transformers Devastation? Feel like the price is right and it might not go lower for a while, but if its not that great I can prolly wait.

 
Having a weird error, so I thought I'd ask it here.

I was given a PS3 digital game code as a gift, when I go to redeem is on PSN it recognizes the game code, even shows the game. But when I try to redeem the game it tells me "The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid. Please check your entries."

Yes, from what I understand, you can use the 14 day trial to buy a game at the ps plus price. I'm not sure about the auto-renewing, but I'd be willing to bet it does

Did you grow up with the G1 Transformers in the 80s and early 90s?
Then buy this game, it really is a love letter to the original G1 cartoon complete with many of the original cast, and ideals (more set in the movie with hundreds of thousands of Insecticons) with an amazing Melee combat flare.

I've played it through quite a few times already... bewarned though it's 6-7hrs your first time through... but there are challenges and other things that can be unlocked.

I will admit, the only char I enjoy using is Optimus, he just seems the perfect balance.

There isn't any live racing. It's all about leaderboard/ghost racing, especially the online server stuff being like old school UT/Quake-style map rotation where everybody goes nuts trying to get the top scores in the allotted five minutes.

someone may have given you a code that had already been used or had an expiration date that neither of you were aware of.
 
Does anybody have a 2 day or 14 day ps plus code they could spare?  I guess I used the free 14 day trial when I got my PS3 back in 2009 and just want to purchase Last of Us Remastered for $20.  Would really appreciate it!

Vue did indeed take from wallet so that's great. Love that I'll be able to buy discounted credit and various rewards programs to reduce my costs even further.

It goes to the page to show the game is a legit code, and they supposedly just bought the code a couple days ago through Amazon.

I may need to contact Sony

 
So I was watching this video about Stardew Valley and it got me really excited to play it. I was like sweet, I will go play it now since it was a free ps plus title. Then I try downloading it and I can't find it anywhere. I do some research and it wasn't Stardew Valley, it was dragon finn soup.

I really would like to see all of the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series on PS4 with cleaned up visuals/performance... along with Demon and Dark Souls.

Code was legit, but it looks like I already had the game (perminant rental) due to getting it from PS+ years ago and forgetting.
Though in all honesty, I'd rather have owned it...
Anyways, the code found a good home with a mutual friend.. Thank you for your help.

5th Cell (Scribblenauts & Drawn to Life devs) have been shut down. They were most recently trying to crowdfund a new game that failed big time because nobody knew about it, so I guess they couldn't line anything else up to keep the studio alive.

 
Well I'm definitely glad I didn't spend that $1 on Manhunt now since it's coming to PS4, Bully too. They both have a plat. I'll be grabbing both the first time they hit $10 or lower.

Bully is one of my favorite games ever, happily beat it on :ps2: & :360:. Never did play Manhunt though so I'll do that since I heard nothing but good things about it. Hope they bring the second one too.

 
Well, I left it til near the end, but I also went ahead and bought TLOU Remastered for $20. I prefer physical (which I do have TLOU on PS3 physical) but I'm tired of waiting.

A remastered Demon's Souls would be a fantastic idea. They could make it multi-platform to help justify the cost of making it and open it up to new audiences that missed it. With the new Souls game out soon the popularity of the franchise is super high right now.

Hell, just a PS4 Demon's Souls would be fine.. I feel Demon's is the best in series, I always loved the MegaMan style selection system of location when you got into the temple.

 
Episode 5 of Minecraft: Story Mode will be out next, which will start a new arc that continues with Episodes 6, 7, and 8 to cap it off. It's interesting that they're extending the season, though breaking it up like this is an odd way to do it.

Sega announced that Yakuza 0 will be out early 2017 for PS4 and that they're the ones that made the decision to localize it for NA/EU and not with the help of Sony's third party production team.

wtf seriously i have black ops 2 i just want the season pass but they keep putting only the season pass and game bundle on sale. give me season pass like $25 already damnit wtf im pissed they don't have the season pass on sale 2nd time they've done that this year.
