Nope. Although I expect the DLC to be well populated once Bespin comes out, and the PS4 userbase is the heaviest. It's a good value for the complete edition for 50. Just punishes people that bought the game at launch.

Very disappointed by Last Blade 2. Thought it was an HD remake and it's seriously just a port of the neo geo game. Plus it's priced at 14.99/13.49 psn+

Yes its cross buy with PS4. I played it today on my lunch break on vita and its great.
Already doing better than I have on ios for combos with real controls.
Tate mode on vita is also excellent.

Downloaded it yesterday for PC...so much fun. I was regretting getting it on PC over PS4, but damn the mouse/keyboard combo is amazing for FPS (totally forgot how good it was)

Thats why I don't play/buy FPS on a console... KB/Mouse or not at all. There are games that play better on a console.. but a FPS is not one of them.

I already contacted Sony for a refund as it has not aged well and is a bit misleading. Just my two cents.

100% your own fault. There is literally nothing on the store page to imply this is a remake. The game was announced as a port long ago and the release mirrors Metal Slug 3's, also a port priced at $15. Try paying attention to the scene.

LB2 remains one of the most beautiful 2D fighters made. I would probably agree SNK should be pricing these games at $10, but there is nothing wrong with how the game has aged.

I know. I didn't try to get away so they would be distracted by me instead trying to avoid the explosion. That's why I just stood there, it worked I took out 5 if you include the sniper outside. My team swooped in and captured it so we got the W

LOL wow bad ass CAG. My mistake for misreading what was implied on various websites. Perhaps I should have known better than to expect anything more than a port. After playing it briefly it only made me want to fire up my Dreamcast and play it there. Sure there's online, but I dont feel like getting my ass handed to me by someone from Japan or someone that lives and breathes 2D fighters.

Nope. Although I expect the DLC to be well populated once Bespin comes out, and the PS4 userbase is the heaviest. It's a good value for the complete edition for 50. Just punishes people that bought the game at launch.

That'd be me. That said, I have to hand it to EA that even if they launch with a totally crappy DLC pack that they let me play it for free for a weekend which is more time than I needed with it.

I can't think of a single fighting game that was remade... ever, though Super Street Fighter 2 HD may come close.

Anyways, I've always heard great things about Last Blade, and I love the Samurai Showdown series, especially the sprite work.

If the game has a Campaign, be it solo or co-op I'll grab it. I kinda liked Operation Racoon City, but it it's Competitive MP only, I'll Pass.

I'm still waiting on the RE5 PS4 release date to be honest.

I would prefer they move forward slightly, and try as you stated to go 16 or 32 bit styles, but while a game like downwell looks old school, it has unique gameplay. I personally would rather play a $2-$20 indie title that may look old, but does something new in gameplay, than to play a new gen game that looks great, and plays like an old game for $60.

One may look old, but offers a new experience, while the other looks new, but plays old for a new price. For me, I'm picking indie every time. My only real gripe with indie titles, is that most are digital only releases, but considering the price, and length of most indie titles, that can be forgiven.

Thanks for the tip on Ratchet. My PS3 isn't hooked up currently so I can't test, but does the game itself have English or only Portuguese? May be time to learn a new language.

Last Blade 2 is a fantastic game. One of the best fighters to come out on the Neo Geo, with beautiful 2D graphics and great gameplay. I bought it immediately, and played it only on the Vita so far (will check out the PS4 version today). The port is excellent, and it looks great on the Vita.

Sure the price is a bit high, but I bought it because it is a classic 2D fighter with amazing backgrounds and smooth gameplay. And I really want to see more Neo Geo games ported over, there are many fantastic games on the console.

Plus, it's cross-buy, so you get it for both the PS4 and Vita. Well worth the price to me.

Correct. I meant HD remaster. I didnt expect an all new game, but I thought it was a remaster. And exactly like Super Street Fighter HD. Thats what I was expecting.

It still plays well and I like the game, but I would have probably held off and not purchased it (especially at that price) when I can just as easily pull out my dreamcast and play it on that. I unfortunately dont own a Vita so that won't help me, and i would expect I would get destroyed online.

It's odd that you were expecting them to redraw the sprites since out of the more than 40 re-released fighting games on PSN and XBL, Super Street Fighter II HD Remix is the only one to have ever gotten that treatment.

I concede to your point on these games, but they seem to be more of the exception and not the norm.

Though many of them were quite good, and we do need more like them.

I do have friends who claim Mercenary Kings, Gungeon, and Scott Pilgrim are 8-big games due to the size of the pixels..

I don't see it since the colors are very 16bit.

As far as indies, I really have be wanting a sale on The Witness and Salt & Sanctuary. Would love to see them as PS+ titles, but that's doubtful and if they do come it will be a long time probably.
