Capcom sale with only 3 games, more will be added I think? Seeing as the PS+ games of the month aren't free yet.
It shows 29 games now on the sale specific page where as they were on the all deals page already.

There's also a "Champion Sale" which seems to be just soccer games... and an NBA 2k16 sale.

Was really hoping for a Best of E3 sale in honor of E3 this week.  Maybe next week?  Especially with the Bloodborne price drop, really would like to see a sale for it and the Old Hunters DLC.

Me too. I'm guessing next week when E3 is occurring or maybe a flash sale when the event is over. It's happened before but I don't' recall the particulars.

So glad I waited on Mega Man Legends 2 last time after buying the other two games too early (though it will be $1 in an upcoming flash sale now that I say that).  Makes me feel better about waiting on Okage.

Edit- Wait, I apparently didn't buy Mega Man Legends yet? Now I'm super confused.

I clearly remember the devs were very vocal about XCOM2 being PC only. I was disappointed since I somewhat enjoyed the first one when it was free on plus. Surprised to see it suddenly coming to PS4, was the game well received on PC?

THERE IS NOT A SIZE OF FONT IN EXISTENCE THAT COULD ACCURATELY SHOW MY LEVEL OF YES
I feel the same but don't want to show it with all caps. I'll be buying the shit out of it though, of that I can assure you.

Weird that Mega Man Legends 2 is on sale, but not the first one.
If you've never played them before buy them both anyways. For $12 or whatever it'll cost it's totally worth it. Amazing games

Actually they were very vocal about supporting the PC and maybe porting it to consoles later.

I bought both Mega Man Legends games day one, even knowing that they would soon go on sale (and that they would likely be backlogged). Had to do my part to show clear interest in the series.

I played the first one before, but that was ages ago. The first one was on sale like a month or two ago for like $6. I don't want to pay more than that, especially when the second one is on sale for $2.50. i'll probably buy the second one now and wait for another sale on the first.

Hmm...I might have read articles that have exaggerated the devs' words then. In any event, more PS4 games that I can buy and not play!
Yeah it was more of maybe we will, maybe we won't. I've been dragging my feet on playing the first one but still glad to see this one come to PS4.

The best of E3 sale last YEAR was on the 3rd monday (June 16, 2015), also the day E3 Started. I wouldn't expect the sale until the 14th since that is the first day of E3 this year. Also, the flash sale was the 4th friday of the month, so don't expect it this weekend or next weekend.

.............

Weirdness with the free ps+ games. I didn't get the big blurb message about the games being free while being active on PS+. That wasn't so weird, I've had that happen many times. What was strange though was during the checkout it showed a purchase price of $128.45 with a discount showing -$128.45 for a total of $0. That has never happened to me before.

I saw this too, I am going to wait till the site gets a full update before I check out.

Not really digging the rebooted Megaman for 2017

(It's supposedly a game/tv series combo, like Sonic Boom)

[attachment=22304:Megaman2017sized.jpg]

Aimed at kids 6 to 9, as well as parents who grew up playing the video games, the series will follow Mega Man’s newly-introduced alter-ego, Aki Light, a normal, upbeat, schoolboy robot who, when activated, re-forms into a suit of impenetrable armor. Other characters from the games and new characters, including Mega Mini, will also be featured.

FWIW, I personally think Tron Run/r is a pretty good game. It's a runner but is pretty deep with moves you have to do on the running side and the bike levels are also pretty fun.

It's also quite challenging.

I bought the original and just bought the deluxe upgrade to get all the new levels.

IF it didn't total to $0, i wouldn't have checked out. Not that I had that kind of money sitting there or a CC tied to my account. So no harm. Best case sinario is that I now own them instead of just having them as PS+ games... though I'm not expecting that to happen. I may check my purchase history later to see what the results are.

no, unless i just happened to read the same articles, they were very clear about pc only. even in the link frisky posted it states that they said pc only. now they claim they are bringing it to consoles because of the numerous complaints via email/facebook/twitter. i had just a few problems with the pc version, though many reported alot of problems, mainly performance related.

This, so much this, I want to grab Old Hunters but can't justify paying 20 for it with the backlog I have but at like 15, I would grab it in a heartbeat and get around to it ... eventually.

You hate them because they're selling extra colors and system voices? I'm not even sure what system voices entails, but that all seems like relatively minor extra baggage they're charging for. The only thing I think they could use is a discounted mass buy option.
I can kind of understand some anger towards them especially if you're just buying unlock codes for content already on the disc. Personally I'm not angry, but disappointed with the way the industry has gone overall with the business practices being implemented. There is also some disappointment towards the gamers as well. Some are just plain ignorant, but the worst offenders are the informed ones that complain, but don't stand by their principals. You gave in and have no foundation to your viewpoints. You've now supported what you claimed to dislike, and have completely invalidated your position. Your complaining holds no merit any longer.

I've expressed this at a few times during the last gen and I still firmly believe for current gen--if development costs are truly as high as they say it is... Then why not raise the MSRP? It has stayed at $60 since PS3 right? This industry isn't immune from inflation.

However... The case is probably that people are good with buying unlocks at current top MSRP price of $60. They probably make more money following this model as opposed to raising MSRP.

And for the person that doesn't like how Aksys is going about with their model then vote with your wallet. Always vote with your wallet when it comes to consumer goods. Sure it will suck if you're a fan, but if you want them to feel the burn, then you gotta do it. This is all part of adulting.

I know its entirely personal opinion but I like playing games in 3d and UC3 was alot of fun playing in 3d. To argue 3d is just a gimmick but then recommend the remake with better graphics is funny to me. Graphica are a gimmick and a remake of a game to have better graphics is just a gimmick, different type of gimmicks for different people.

Playing UC3 or arkham asylum in 3d were some of my favorite gaming experiences.

Definitely a matter of opinion and totally agree.

I've never played games in 3D for extended periods of time, but I imagine it can be quite immersive. To each their own. There's obviously a reason why you have a 3D set up.

I'm all over that Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded for $1.99 just so I can have these three games digital on my vita.
I have the disc version somewhere in my PSP collection.

Ghosts'n Goblins
Ghouls'n Ghosts
Super Ghouls'n Ghosts

Hopefully they turn on the download to vita functionality if enough of us buy it.

I prefer a publisher trying to monetize fluff over inflating the MSRP of games. Trying to make a couple bucks off extra colors, lobby avatars and whatever system voices is supposed to be, seems to be a nice compromise over just getting hit with an extra $10 charge at release to keep up with inflation.

This nickel and diming seems to mostly annoy people that have this obsessive nature with completeness, to the point where they have to own it if it exists out in the wild regardless of its function to the actual product.

No, I hate/am annoyed with them because they released the game last year with just as much DLC (The DLC is sytem voices, colors, and additional characters)
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/guilty-gear-xrd-sign-/cid=UP1024-CUSA00834_00-GGXRDSIGNUS00100%3AADD-ONS

They then release GGXRD -Revalator- with all the DLC and characters of the last game included, a couple new characters, then release just a much or MORE DLC content of the same type, more DLC characters, system voices and colors.

It's pretty much the same game, like the difference between SF4 and SSF4 last gen and all subsequent releases.

The difference though, after SSF4 you could just buy the updates (and one was free) where with Arksys (BlazBlue and GG) you have to buy the $60, then are nickle and dimed with DLC.

I miss the idea of buying a complete game, especially when it comes to fighting games. I understand wanting a few DLC chars but.. include some sort of "Complete Package" I want to be able to have the whole game and not spend an arm and a leg on it..... and more than likely they'll repeat this again next year, or the year after..... a 3rd game with all the previous content + new content DLC.

I played UC3 in 3D and enjoyed. Played a good bit of Puppeteer the same way. I'm kinda a 3D movie buff as well though unfortunately it's not hard to see why the port of UC3 and (I'm guessing) AS are not getting the treatment.

I'm having trouble following you when we're talking about inconsequential fluff like extra colors. The DLC characters appear to be free, so unless this is an issue with wanting it all on disc, I don't know what the problem is there.

As far as the "upgrade" charge, the leap from Xrd to Revelator seems to parallel less to SFIV and Super SFIV and more like a direct sequel. Aksys packs so much more between these games than Capcom does. That's on top of the fact that when they sell you a $60 game, it actually is a $60 game, not a $60 game in progress, to be completed in 9 months.

Its a shame 3d didn't catch on in a bigger way. Although the 3d glasses(ps 3d monitor) I have just kill my head they are too tight. I am going to try a heat gun to bend the arma out. I've tried hot water and they just don't seem to bend.

I think it was more that they were vocal about it being only on PC at launch because the team wasn't big enough to get it out on all three at launch.

I've heard great things about it, though it's supposed to be a harder game.

I can agree with this. People want more and more out of games for the same amount of money. If there was no DLC and games came complete for $80 then they complain just as much about that.

I did not notice the additional char/chars were free this time.

With Xrd Sign, they were around $8 each

It still seems/feels more like an update than a sequel/new game... though it seems slightly more extensive than I originally thought.

They did the same thing regularly with the BlazBlue series, keeping the character assets and backgrounds virtually identical between releases.
