Kinda sad that battleborn is getting discounted everywhere already.

I didn't think it was a bad game from the demo... Just not my cup of tea... And releasing right around overwatch was a bad idea.

Dude, Battleborn is complete trash, I was playing the beta and wondering to myself why even basic gameplay mechanics were not present or completed at this point. I feel bad for anyone who bought it. At least Overwatch was polished like a professionally produced game should be.

It has far more depth and skill based gameplay than Overwatch. Overwatch is a casual pickup and play game for anyone to kill some time with. They both have their purposes and strengths, stop talking out of your ass.

I didn't find the beta to be that bad.

I didn't care for the single player story which was over the top slap your face trying to be funny and I wasn't interested in yet another competitive multiplayer shooter.

The actual gameplay was alright I thought.

Anyone else having trouble with Bioshock 2 Ultimate Edition? I have seen it on sale a few times and it's never available to purchase.
You probably own the base game from when it was PS+ which locks you out of buying the ultimate bundle. Sometimes you can buy the base game + DLC bundle when you own the base game digitally already and sometimes you can't.

I was hoping there would be enough on sale today to get me over the $100 promo expiring tonight.. oh well, guess my psn wallet is safe.. at least there is hope that there will be a flash sale this weekend..

Thanks for all the advice.  Probably going with the below (I already have Chrono Trigger on 3DS):

  • Dissidia (duodecim)
  • Chrono Cross
  • Legend of Mana
  • FF IV - VI
  • FF VIII - IX

all I have to say is fuck YES to bioshock ultimate finally going on sale for less than the mavina dlc

I knew there was a reason I waited 500 years to not buy the dlc on xbox

^ This. I believe it was bad marketing and the fact that gamers are aware of who Pitchford is and how he can talk out of his @ss. Seems like they tried to cram to many different concepts into one. I will end up getting it once its cheap. Given that it has DLC and what not I don't think 48 is still worth it at this point (for me), but maybe $25 at some point.

Also I do love Overwatch, but I just can't spend infinite amounts of time playing it. More like grab, kick/get my ass kicked for a while and then move on, kinda how I feel with U4 multiplayer. Completely different beast to what BB is

I'll wait for the flash sale on friday to buy anything but I think I'll re-buy bioshock one as well

I have both physical and sealed for xbox. I hate breaking seals on older games I have

I still have games like jericho and condemned 2 and the simpsons game sealed in mint condition for no good reason

Condemned 2 is actually still pretty fun, I played it about a year ago for the first time. Though due to it's age and gamespy closing down there are some quirks to playing it such as pressing triangle on the application before launching the game to install the game patch through the PS3 OS menu (if you boot it up and try and have the game install the patch for you it doesn't work) and playing the game disconnected from the internet to prevent the game from crashing when you exit (which is due to the multiplayer servers on gamespy shutting down).

Is PSN insanely slow for anyone else right now? Turn the PS4 on and it wants to download an update of 300 MB. 20 minutes later it's 10.5 MB done and estimating 12 hours remaining. My internet's working fine otherwise and I've powered it off and whatnot.

I haven't invested much time in either Battleborn or Overwatch but what you described above could also relate to Hearthstone versus Magic the Gathering. People say Magic is more skill based, but the presentation of Hearthstone and UI is better. I think Blizzard knows how to sell to the broad audience and thus capture the market with their games.

So... I need to spend $6.05 to hit $100.   Anyone have any suggestions?    I kind of want Borderlands Presequel for PS4... but I'm buried in unplayed full size ps4 games.    I also really wanted Severed vita, but i'm buried in vita games too.

I broke down last night and grabbed GTAV ps4 (loved it on ps3) and Omega Quintet.    Reviews say the story of OQ sucks, but the combat system is cool, and i play games for the combat systems.    And GTAV... i was resisting it forever but I decided i'd put the $15 rebate against it and pretend it hit a price point i was okay with.

(already had R6 Siege, Black Flag, and NFS from the sale).

Anyway... recommendations on the best way to spend $6 would be nice.   Open to obscure psn suggestions for ps4/vita.   I"d grab downwell, but that's only $5 so i'd still need to spend a buck.05

Is BLs Presequel worth that price?  I loved #2.

I had no problems, downloaded the update in under a minute.. the unpacking of the update took longer than the download, I think it may be on your end somehow..

You must have extremely low standards. Battleborn looked and played like a half completed mess build by amateurs. Its right up there with Alien: Colonial Marines in terms of being embarrassingly bad. Expect it to be < 10$ soon.

I thought the Presequel was total garbage. I was a huge fan of 1 and 2 and the Presequel was a let down in every way in comparison.

Agreed, Presequel felt like another game wearing a Borderland's mask.

It was made by a separate fan team, and adopted into the series by the creators/etc... but the balancing and pacing felt really off.

Felt the same. Collection is still worth it for 2 but the pre sequel was garbage

Played some of the Grand Kingdom demo...

Game looks fantastic and plays well.  Definitely a good Vita game, though I will get for PS4 someday when it's cheaper.

I liked Pre-Sequel well enough. I came into it as a huge Borderlands 2 fan, and I can definitely see where it comes up short (IE, when it seems like the story finally gets going... it ends) but it is more Borderlands.

Plus, I like the slamming. When I switched back to Borderlands 2, I kept forgetting I couldn't do that :/

If you're looking for a fast/ chaotic shooter. pre-sequel, as fragtrap = FN AWESOME.  The chaos of jumping into a firefight with all the subroutine powers, fighting for you life over and over is unmatched to me even by Doom's speedy gameplay

I don't think BL Presequel was as good as 2, but definitely far from "garbage".

Grand Kingdom on the other hand...

Liked the demo, but the full game is a mess (to me).

Well I pointed this out..

In 1 and 2, you can get by just doing the campaign missions.. to artificially lengthen Pre-sequel it feels like you have to do all the side quests/missions or else you'll be horribly under leveled.. and even then

My roommate and I played the entire presequel together and well in many cases felt over whelmed.

It's the worst of the series and definitely the lowpoint.

Kind of like Dark Souls 2, just because it's the worst game in the series.. doesn't always make it a bad game.

Does anyone know the price of Might No 9's DLC or even if it's included?

Simply put, I am trying to debate between getting the physical version which I can trade in when finished, or the digital version which is $10 cheaper. (I have $10 in Best Buy Reward certs which I am putting toward either)

On the disc version, I see you get crossbuy? and all the DLC like Might Rey are included... are they on the digital version?

any thoughts on jack the ripper dlc?
I enjoyed it - if you played Freedom's Cry, it's similar in terms of scope. I actually found the story pretty interesting. If you liked the base game, you should like this one. If you're a trophy hunter, expect to take around 8 hours (maybe less if you're really efficient at collecting things) to finish everything. It's probably my favorite AC DLC now.
