I only picked up Dynasty Warriors 8 for the nostalgia factor and so that I have something to mindless zone out and play while barely sober.

I'm looking forward to next week's sale.

So the only thing holding me back on buying all the stuf O want to throw in my backlog this week is knowing that Next week may have more.

I think I can pass on several games but it is tough knowing they may even have more good games next week.

If this truly is a best of the year sale kind of thing then we should see some of the bigger indie games that came out earlier this year.

I went to add Brothers to my cart and got the PS+ popup about how the game is only free when you are subscribed.  Has anyone else seen this?  Could this be one of the July PS+ games?

Damn I hope the level system takes into account what we have already played :pray:. Really glad I haven't spent a ton in the treasure packs, sitting @ 16K relic points.

So far I got Stories Path of Destinies and Super Startdust (a must). So far I'm liking stories seems my decisions do seem to have an effect on what happens next, but we'll see.

Honestly sounds like 0 for me in the PS+ this next month. Furi is new.....but i'm not a huge fan of boss attack type games, and already have Oreshika, which is likely the best game the next month, though do download it! It gets very repetitive near the end of the game, but it's unique and was the last Sony developed exclusive for the Vita I believe (someone can correct me on this).

 
Gat Out of Hell is pretty dull compared to Saints Row IV since it's almost all side activities. I doubt I'd play it again unless I had absolutely nothing else to play. Oreshika does look interesting though. Anyway, glad I can buy what I want from this sale without worrying about it being free next week. :D

I wonder how many people have just purchased Saints Row or ignorantly will in the next couple days.  At least it's only $6 but that seems like poor planning on Sony's part.

 
With as often and as deep a discount they always have it at, we really couldn't get the whole Saints Row 4? Just the expansion?

At least Furi looks like it could be awesome. Kinda ugly, but looks like a 3D top down Strider with all boss fights. Hopefully you don't play all the bosses on the same platform.

Deep Silver doesn't seem to want SRIV remastered on either GWG or PS+ from their latest offerings.

 
The trophy list for A Boy and His Blob is pretty awful... Should I just stick with the Wii version I still haven't played? Or is there some other selling point? Also, has anyone played Let's Fish? Looks interesting.
 
Bought Monster Monpiece without knowing anything about it, except that it was a card game. Not quite what I expected. Inappropriately fondling my Vita doesn't seem like a quality addition to the game.

I don't mind getting indie games on PS+ freebies just like I don't mind getting mid tier retail games like most people salivate over. I just find it a bit grimy for Sony to announce Gat out of Hell as one of only two PS4 July freebies while they're simultaneously having a PS+ special sale price on the game during this sale as we speak. Also seriously give me anything over a game that goes on deep discount every single month like clockwork. Or at the very least, since Deep Sliver is basically trying to always give their games away to begin with, just give us the whole bundle.
 
Considering how incredibly awful the sequel to Afro Samurai turned out, I am not hopeful for Furi.

Also already have both Saints Row PS4 games. Not a good month for me.

I'm pretty sure the creator of the manga/anime didn't make either of those games, so I don't see why that affects Furi.

 
transformers devastation was freaking awesome. grab it if you like transformers and bayonetta. fun plat too, im thinking of replatting the game on ps3.

also anyone want a ps4 gat out of hell code for $10? ;) i guess ill just give it to a friend cuz i havnt redeemed it yet...

I like both franchises, so that's why I bought the PS3 version on sale awhile back. Sadly, it's in my "coming soon" to be played pile, so hopefully I get to it before I die. LOL
