Anyone have on opinion  on whether Battlefield 1 is worth $8 JUST for the single player portion? Have no interest in the multiplayer, but I know those are the focus of these games.

Ending up trading in 6 physical games to GS, picked up a PSN card, rebought the same 6 games, and ended up with about $10 leftover credit (I have Elite Pro btw). Been in the mood to switch to digital recently, and these kind of sales work in my favor.

Speaking of how the XB1 is more user friendly for gamesharing, it seems like a good time to bitch yet again about how stupid Sony is about making you re-download a game that you already have installed from the disc when you buy it digitally. They seriously are allergic to technology most of the time.

Glad to see the response. I resold about 8 God of War PS4s. Originally just wanted the controller for free, but I got ahead of myself and now have too many coupons. Funny thing is my Target cartwheel ps4 pro for $320 a while back didn't come with one. Also, I gifted my unemployed friend $60 so he could buy GoW, and he didn't even use the coupon I gave him. Not a CAG for sure.

I play what I want on PS4 #2 in the basement which only logs in as me.

For the record, my setup is 100% identical to themadgamer's scenario.

It's only on Sony platforms and PC. They've never been ported to Nintendo.

I honestly may be the only one that enjoyed the game. It's a little clunky compared to Xcom: Enemy Unknown but if you like the sort of '60's Mad Men vibe, I'd go for it in general. It's a good game for what it is...but is it worth $20? No. It goes on sale from time to time for WAAAAY cheaper and if you don't care if it's digital, Gamestop has it used for $4.99. Totally worth it for $5.

Be patient. The digital PS3 version has gone on sale a few times this year, and it probably will again. Put it on your wish list and then check the weekly sales to see when it goes on sale again. I wouldn't buy it for $20, but it's worth it for $5 or less. Decent game.

I looked at GameStop and none of the stores have it for PS3 for like 100 miles lol and I sold my 360 awhile back. Wish it was backwards compatible. I'll probably just wait for a sale on PSN.

I'm looking to get in on the big SNK 40th Anniversary sale where most games are only $2.50 including the Japan-only KOF '94 Rebout, Maximum Impact 2 Regulation A, and NESTS Saga. I'm wondering how Japan views digital games to get an idea of how long PS3 games will be supported since I don't expect them to be up indefinitely. I would have to buy a $30 PSN card - $10 is the lowest, then $30 - and find other games to purchase, so it would suck if the Japanese PSN store only supported PS3 games for less than a decade left.

I wouldn't expect the North American PSN to support PS3 games for 10 years, much less the Japanese PSN. And PS3 games are losing their online features left and right because the publishers are moving on. I say this as a PS3 enthusiast. That said, if you don't mind that you may only have the single player modes to play in a few years, I say go for those games. $2.50 is nothing to pay for a download if you can afford it.

Motorstorm Apocalypse's servers are going dead at the end of this month. That's just one of many PS3 games that will shut down its servers this year. And that's why I never spent much time on multiplayer games. A single player game is a single player game forever.

Skip kill zone shadow fall. I played all the games and that one was a chore to get through even at low price. Persona 5 is awesome and takes at minimum 100 hours to play through.

Definitely get God of War, skip everything else and buy Far Cry 5 later, and Wildlands whenever it hits a low enough price to grab when you have a group of friends to play it with because solo is frustratingly boring in that game.

I wouldn't buy anything I already own (unless I'm upgrading from PS3 or something). As for Far Cry 5, I'd just wait for the Gold Edition to go on sale during Black Friday. Spider-Man is almost here, so I'd just wait that one out. There's more games releasing in the next few months.
