Does anyone know when the Amazon no rush credits stopped working on PSN Digital Codes? Last time I bought one, which I swear was just after they started selling them again a little while back, they still worked but now it seems it doesn't (tried it with a digital game code as well and that also seemed to not take them. Didn't want to try an MP3 because I don't recall if it takes you to a buy page for those or just immediately eats into the credit and buys the track.)

I'm pretty sure it was about a month ago that they stopped allowing PSN and Xbox codes for no rush credit, but i'm almost positive MP3's work.

Good to know, I guess everything's being 2 day shipped then unless there's an album I really want coming out anytime soon. Amazon has really gone to the dumps as of late.

PS Classic = No sale for me.  Still have my PS1 with its backlog, PS2 with its backlog, PS3 with its backlog & PS4 building its backlog.  I don't see a huge market for this really.  Hipster retro 2derp4u wannabe nerds & grandmas that don't know any better for presents maybe?  Marketing is obviously not my thing.

I think the most worrisome thing is them dropping the announcement and preorders before they even reveal the list of games in full. I’m more scared to learn what the other 15 are than I am excited about it.
agreed about the other 15.

I liked this little gem at the bottom of the preorder page:
"* A compatible USB AC adaptor (not included) is required to use this console. Use an AC adaptor that supports 5 V, 1.0 A USB (Type A) output"

Releases Dec, and a Merry Christmas will be had by all XD

My ps plus only Driveclub glitched and I can download it normally. How much does it differ from the regular version in this state?

Any opinions on psvr? Im on the fence. Anyone want to help me fall to either side?
On the plus side, it looks amazing, is incredibly immersive, and a totally new way to play games. On the cons, it can be cumbersome to take it out, put it on, etc. every time you want to play, and for me at least, it pushes my glasses right up against my eyelashes causing a layer of oil to consistently get in my vision. Also, for every triple-A release, there about two or three indie-level titles that don't do the PSVR justice.

Regardless, I love it and am not disappointed. I bring it to the family gathering in Christmas and everyone wants to play. Rock Band has been a Christmas tradition here since the first RB came out. But last year, PSVR got all the attention and not an fake plastic instrument was played.

Go for it.

I own it, got the Skyrim bundle with the newer headset for an unreal price last black Friday, the Dell deal for just over $200. If I had payed more I think I would have regrets. I have only played a couple games but found it really cool. But for me I got real hot and nauseous the first time I played it. I read a tip from other people experiencing these symptoms that if you put a fan blowing on you while playing it helps, so I did that and yes it helps a ton. That said, it seems such a chore to set up the fan and the headset that you will really want to play VR to be motivated enough to deal with the hassle. Also note that you will likely be standing most of your VR game sessions as a lot of games require you to look around which is tough to do sitting, so keep that in mind as well.

Also try taking a Dramamine about half an hour before playing. It helped me out when I first started playing VR.

I would certainly wait to see if you experience any motion sickness first, though. Personally, I have never experienced any motion sickness before in a VR game; my cousin, however, started feeling it when he was playing Doom VR with full locomotion turned on.

Incidentally, while I've never experienced any motion sickness at all in my life, I have discovered at the amusement park this summer that I can't seem to ride any of the fast-paced ones like rollercoasters without closing my eyes anymore. I'm chalking it up to age. Interesting that motion in VR doesn't phase me a bit, but the that type of motion in real life can make me uncomfortable now. Getting old sucks.

Has Plus given the "ultimate edition" of a game for ps+ before?....especially one that was on sale for as much as 30 bucks the month before going free on plus?

This would probably be the first time there was no option to offer the base version of a game. There’s only one Diablo 3 for PS4 and it includes everything.

If the rumors are true, damn, October might be the best month ever for PS+.

Nioh and Diablo 3.

Too bad I already have them both...

Activision giving 2 major releases away in back to back months seems very unlikely. Also I don't think a leak this early has ever been accurate though I could be wrong there. Basically I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well they gave Black Ops 3 away to promote 4 and Destiny 2 to promote Forsaken. Overwatch is free as part of the Humble Bundle subscription. There's probably going to be Diablo news announced at Blizzcon, so giving away Diablo 3 could be part of that promotion.

If D3 is free, everybody can thank me since I just bought Diablo 3 as part of the last sale using my 20% coupon.

Sony FINALLY trying to compete with gamepass! Now if they can only add PS3 games, this would be incredible.

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2018/09/20/playstation-now-adds-downloading-of-ps4-ps2-games/
The details:

Downloaded PS Now games will support all user-purchased DLCs, microtransactions, and add-ons, as well as PS4 Pro enhancements for subscribers using a PS4 Pro system. And remember, you do not need a PlayStation Plus membership for online multiplayer on PS Now – which stays the same for both streaming and downloaded games.

If you’ve already started a game via streaming on PS Now and want to continue playing locally on your PS4, you can transfer your save file from the PS Now cloud to your console with a PS Plus membership (sold separately). This is done by transferring the save file from the PS Now cloud to your PS Plus cloud storage, then transferring it from the PS Plus cloud storage to your PS4 system. Check out this page for step-by-step instruction videos on how to transfer your game saves.

Note that you will need to connect your PS4 system to the internet every few days to verify your PS Now subscription, even if you’re only playing downloaded games.

A quick reminder that there are a few days left to get in on our summer price promotion, which ends September 25. Try PS Now for a full month at just $9.99 (new subscribers only) with our special intro offer, or get a full year for just $99.99 USD. And if you’re a PS Plus member, you can take advantage of the exclusive discount on the 3-month pass for PS Now for just $29.99 ($44.99 regular price). Although note that in order to take advantage of the $9.99 intro offer, you will need to purchase that directly, as the 7-day trial will transition into the standard monthly subscription.
The nice thing is that you can stream the games first to see if you want to download them so you can play them some more.

Well this is big. I think a lot of people will finally start taking more notice of the service instead of writing it off due to the stigma of streaming. I don't know how popular it currently is, but it's always been my assumption that the streaming stigma was a huge turn-off for most people regardless of how much of an issue it really was.

And yes, I agree, let us play PS3 games. Of course, much preferably, give us a way to play the games we already own without paying for the service or at some discount.

You can't download and play PS3 games because the PS4 is unable to run PS3 games (due to the Cell architecture of the PS3).

If the rumors are true, damn, October might be the best month ever for PS+.

This would be great news for me, since I've held out on buying both.

Goddammit, I could have saved so much money if this were a thing before. Stupid streaming PSNow...

I don't understand how you're able to stream it though. Is it through some sort of emulation device? Why can't they implement that for the PS4 then?

The version of Helldivers that was made available for free on PS+ included some paid DLC.  I remember because I bought the original vanilla release and wasn't allowed to grab the PS+ version even though it included DLC that I didn't own.  Got screwed on that one.

I completely agree with these. When my kids were young, I took them on carousels. I never had problems with carousels when I was younger but now they make me sick. Now I'm more sensitive to roller coasters. Told my kids they need to hurry up and get older so they can go on the rides without me.

Unfortunately, I had to return my PSVR because it would make me sick. Too bad I didn't think about trying the motion sickness bands or dramamine before I returned it, but it was also too clunky and too cumbersome with the cords.

You are worrying me, I haven't been on any crazy roller coasters in like 10 years and I'm going to Cedar Point next weekend.
