Yeah, there's a lot more variation and stuff to do in F13, and I can see how the better you get, the more fun it is to play. I think something like "private match" would be cool as long as you know everybody involved, especially when it comes to banding together and killing Jason. All the public matches I've done have been pure chaos.

I tried to knock a few achievements off my list and did that "Chad is a Dick" one by escaping and abandoning everyone else, all the whilst getting cussed out by the players on the board. Good times. :)
spot on analysis-- some friends and I played private matches and it was fun for a while. I got the plat but hate myself for it. A buddy and I teamed up for 1 v 1 and played out the 1000 jason and counselors matches. Such a tedious chore . I do not recommend the 100+ hour chore of trophy hunting this game

I posted this in the vita thread by thought maybe a few people might be interested in this here as well.

Slayaway Camp Butcher's Cut is coming to Vita on November 6th.
It will be cross buy with the PS4 version which is on sale right now for $4.24 for plus members in the Sale of the Dead until 11/2.

so I was finally able to log into Sony Rewards. Very happy to see all those trophy Rewards autocycle.

Anyway, I was curious about my Sony card. I currently don't use it for anything, but was wondering if I should use it in the PlayStation Store for maximum Rewards? I was trying to look at the site to see where you get the maximum benefits and all I could find was the Sony store.

Glad to see Castlevania SotN on PS4, but I've already bought the game so many times (PS1, X360, PSN PSOne Classic, PSP/Vita DXC) that I will wait for it to hit $10. I'm always up to play through it again though ^^

Food. Use it at restaurants - you get 3% back. I dont use it for anything else. That plus 3X / 5X on PS, is the only good usage for that card. Everything else gets you 1%, of course, so its not useless per se.

God damn, I'm so bummed out. I was trying to play through the main campaign of Alien: Isolation and I ran into a game-breaking bug in Mission 10. Reloading any of my previous saves or restarting earlier missions does not fix it. I'd have to delete everything and start a new game.  :wall:

Here are some details based on my research online, so I know it's not an "isolated" incident. And it still hasn't been solved, 4+ years later.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/751153-alien-isolation/74024869

How do I always find these fucking glitches? I'm throwing it back in the backlog for now. Onto the next game...

So, I went on Amazon earlier to grab some PSN credit to pre-order RDR2 digitally...and they were all out of credit. However, I just decided to snag a digital code on there instead. The Playstation email I got, the typical "thank you for your purchase" says it's a pre-order voucher. Does that mean I will get the PSN pre-order bonuses, or no? Not that it matters, I don't really care all that much, but like I said in an earlier post this is the first I've pre-ordered anything since PS2 days so I'm not sure how this all works.

Gonna be a super long download, but it should give me some time to wrap up my Witcher 3 platinum run at least.

Try deleting the save AND the game itself, then reinstall both?
Yeah, it's definitely something wrong with the save progress. I tried both methods, I even deleted my user configuration file and latest mission save (each level is a separate file) and started up from the previous mission (again). All this time I spent trying to fix it, I probably could have played through it again from the beginning.

Here are more specifics on the issue, even though I know this isn't a tech support forum and it will never get solved.

The mission is leading me directly to a door that is locked in my playthrough, even though I looked up videos and it's accessible for everyone else. This is the same door that was previously blocked in Mission 3 (which I'm guessing this glitch originates from), but you eventually gain access through to the stairwell. The in-game navigation system points me where to go yet the map clearly shows there is no access (X). It's completely borked.

Just wanted to chine in. The PSN store limit for your cart is actually $175 and it can be used in conjuction with a 20% code. Also games lose their preorder status indeed at 12:01 am but I had to wait 10 minutes before I could actually purchase Red Dead 2.

Just curious, where did you get a 20% code? I haven't seen one come in email in quite a while, but I have always gotten them and I did get the Netflix code. Wondering if I missed an email or you just got it with the console or something.

I wasn't going to pick up RDR2 right now, but damn it looks so good and I don't see price drops forthcoming for it so I used GCU and a gift card I had to "pre-order" (if you can even really call it that since I can pick it up as soon as the store opens) at Best Buy. I actually feel a little guilty about it, given that people that pre-ordered at small game shops probably won't get it until next week thanks to distributions "issues" (big retailers probably pulling some shenanigans). It feels a little wrong that I can preorder at 11pm the night before and get a copy on release day, but people that pre-ordered months ago and are supporting small businesses have to wait. Sadly I don't have a local game shop like that, just the big boys.

Maybe the 20% code that was included in the Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle?

Also, some people sell/trade 20% off codes here on the Trading forum. I just got through a stack of them and have only one left for me, but you can typically pick them up for $4-5. I'm going to double up and use mine on Spider-man and RDR2, should also get me the $15 countdown to launch credit.

Just wanted to chine in. The PSN store limit for your cart is actually $175 and it can be used in conjuction with a 20% code. Also games lose their preorder status indeed at 12:01 am but I had to wait 10 minutes before I could actually purchase Red Dead 2.
I was trying to add RDR2 SE to my cart for about 30 mins after midnight, but it kept saying I couldn't when I was on the website. Almost gave up, but noticed it worked fine on the console. Went back on my PC to enter all my psn codes and got to checkout maybe around 1am. To my surprise, the preorder download was still included. Wondering if I just lucked out or if they silently extended the offer

I the code from my Spiderman PS4 Pro. First 20% code I've ever used.

I bought it on console. I was anxiously waiting to midnight to see the status would change.

Also the preorder bonus is actually available until the 28th for anyone that purchases any edition of Red Dead 2 digitally. This was a very nice surprise since I heard the War horse does help out traveling the map (you could also unlock fast travel but there's no fun in that).

Food. Use it at restaurants - you get 3% back. I dont use it for anything else. That plus 3X / 5X on PS, is the only good usage for that card. Everything else gets you 1%, of course, so its not useless per se.
Yeah, I have other cards for pretty much everything. So you are saying you get 3x/5x for using it on PSN? When I look at the site it says Sony products, but I couldn't find reference to PSN.

Many times when there is a sale on PSN, there is also a banner for 3X / 5X points. Any purchases on PSN should be 3X too but I have never used the CC on PSN since the first data breach; I'm not going to brave that for 50X points, fuck that.

Where do you see 3% back for restaurants? I was unaware of this but cannot find it anywhere. thanks

I saw it on Capitol One site, I can take a screen grab, when I'm near a computer.

I have always gotten 3X for food; that is how I raked up my points, previously. I dont eat out as much as I used to; but still it's a nice bonus.

Starbucks works too, if you are a SB person, doesn't have to be a "restaurant" - anything that qualifies as an eating joint.

Glad to see Castlevania SotN on PS4, but I've already bought the game so many times (PS1, X360, PSN PSOne Classic, PSP/Vita DXC) that I will wait for it to hit $10. I'm always up to play through it again though ^^
Played SotN while RDR2 was installing, and while it's one of my all-time favs, I falsely assumed the game was going to be cleaned up a bit graphically for modern TVs. Sadly, it has not and some the text is so pixelated that it's impossible to read. It doesn't really effect anything other than using menus, but it's kinda a drag.

I had a dream not long after the PS4 SotN was announced that I was playing the game and it was a complete remaster similar to how they remastered Wonderboy 3. It had beautiful hand-drawn graphics likes WB3 or Dragon's Crown and was simply amazing. Then I woke up and a week or so later it was announced to be a simple port. I can handle them using the PSP translation and leaving out the miserable pile of secrets line. I can't handle a straight port, though. Totally killed my dream. :(

You don't have to have your card linked for the bonus on PSN. just have to have a PSN account linked to Sony rewards

Thanks for the heads up.

Nice profile pic. I’m fiending for some Ben Reilly stories after using the costume in Spider-man. Anything good you would suggest?
Those stories were about a lifetime ago. They retconned the whole clone saga because they were unhappy how it got out of control. Not sure if you know but Ben Riley is back as The Scarlet Spider. I haven't read much of it though since I'm backlogged on comics too

I'm backlogged to May of this year. They seem to have topped the original clone saga with the stuff they're doing now.

I like having two Scarlet Spiders in Las Vegas running around.

I believe I have a comic card from back in the mid 90s with that picture on there.Man it was fun collecting comic cards as a kid as sometimes during breakfast at school a kid would sell them for 25cents a piece.

So funny that you mention that. I've been thinking about how I loved buying a box of those Skybox Marvel cards and then opening each pack hoping for a hologram or rare card. Made me think that maybe I should find some Marvel cards and buy a box for my son

They don't make them like they use to in fact I'm not sure they still make them. The ones I use to buy where these thick ones like 1/6 inch and were very glossy and had smooth surface to them.I still have my collection but would have to look through my parents garage or attic.

Off-topic spoiler:

They still do make cards but they're Upper Deck now.  Just checked them out.  Inflation hit them hard so a box is $100 or more.  Too bad for nostalgia

Yeah, I’ve seen all the Spider-geddon stuff. Too much crazy for me. I’m good with one clone. The original story was pretty interesting.

I'm still in the Venomverse stuff but hey if they want to adapt all this stuff to some sort of online Multiplayer Spider-Man Battle Royal with Clones,Symbiotes, Poisons, and Multi-Verse Spider-Men I'm all for it.

I don't want to spoil the ps4 game or the DLC but it had some great gameplay that would make online co-op at least work

Although Sony had said that the servers for the PS3 games PlayStation All-Stars, Twisted Metal, and Warhawk were supposed to be taken down by now, posters on the PS3 sub-Reddit are saying that they're still up if anybody cares at this point. All-Stars is actually fun if you can get into a game with other people who haven't played very often.

Thats one nice thing about the vita tv is that all games like chrono trigger ff7 ect that are not analog stick mode compatible on the ps3 are on the vita tv.  It was a random feature I happened to stumble upon.  I also recently found out tbe vita can stream video to the vita tv.  Too bad it cannot stream games, crunchy roll ect.
