You can't even keep track of your old in progress passes without going into your points summary and piecing it together yourself. I just realized the other day I still have a platinum trophy pass active and it's almost complete.

I can't even log into my account anymore. They shouldn't have touched the site. They made it worse.

 
Another thing that really sucks about Sony Rewards is ever since the site relaunch there hasn't been any 3x or 5x bonus points on purchases made during a certain sale promotions. Before we used to get one of those every month.

Isn’t it cheaper just to buy the 3 packs that make up the first bundle? Looks like buying them individually they’re $3.99, $3.99 and $1.99. The 2nd season tables seem to be cheaper to buy in pieces also as opposed to the full bundle too.

Leaning more towards bundle 1. The tables are older but look like they have a lot more going on. Bundle 2 looks like they're from the most recent movies.

Also, I do plan on buying the Star Wars Pinball game on the Switch. It comes out in September, and it's going to have 19 tables. I know there will likely be repeats, but I'd like to try some of them out now to see if I like them enough to play on the switch.

I bought these a while back to have on my Vita. Season 1 is superior to all of the new movies. The only two tables that are really good or memorable in the second season set is Rebels and Rogue One. The ones focusing on the new trilogy specifically are very same-y and boring.

Oh wow, you're right! Thank you so much! That's a bit underhanded, but maybe they didn't notice (like me) that you could get all of Season 1 for $9.97

I had just assumed those other links were individual tables, but they're actually table packs with 2-3 tables each. Man, they could do a better job at naming these tables and listing what comes with what :lol:

my rule is to buy a table for a buck and change. I've been buying the SW tables in the May the 4th sales the last few years and got the Solo and Last Jedi packs this sale. Well worth it in my opinion.

Really strange...

I went to check the Free Games and it shows that I didn't purchase Conan Exiles in April, but I purchased The Surge lol.  I know for a fact i added both to my cart and checked out, but Conan was removed from my account.  I wonder if Customer Service can help with this?  Anyone have a similar issue before?

 
That’s cool on EA Access. If your a multi platform guy Xbox is better deal because of the BC games but cool that others now have an option.
One of the best things about EA Access is that it really seems to drive down the purchase price of EA games for everyone.

This is true, but I can definitely tell you i've purchased physical (with intent to trade-in) instead of digital specifically because of EA Access (digital purchase would have obviously been better for EA I would assume). I can also say that i've avoided purchasing several EA games specifically in anticipation of them one-day coming to EA Access.

I would hope there is a different pricing structure for PS4 as there is a big disparity in what will be offered thanks to BC on XB1. I think it's still a no-brainer for someone who doesn't have an XB1, but the difference in the library cannot be ignored.

Nice my brother got a PS4 and I got a PS4 Pro last BF. I used my 20% already and he likely will not. I was going to buy something with his code on his account since we game share but rather just buy it on my account if I can use his code.

Can anyone explain how EA Access works, specifically with sports games?

Like, if I pay a $30 annual fee, my kids would be able to play, well I guess not this year's but, maybe last year's versions of games?

Maybe 2018 versions (assuming that they make 2019 now) of MLB The Show or NHL, 

Would the most recent NHL be available for free???? The season is nearly over?

I can't bring myself to spend $60 on essentially a roster update each year.

Clearly I have no idea how EA Access works.

Here's how it works on X1:

You pay $30 a year
5 day early access for most EA games (Battlefield, Anthem, all sports games, and others)
You also have access to all Vault games... Typically Madden that years Madden around the Super Bowl, NHL and NBA during the playoffs or last couple weeks of regular season, most other EA games range anywhere from 6 months to a year after release.

Here's a few games that are currently available:
All current gen Battlefield's minus V, both Star Wars Battlefronts, both Unravel games, all current NFS games, and a few others I can't think of at the moment.

My big question about PS4's value would be the BC library available on X1.
 
It's Sony and EA we're dealing with here...  Let's be real lol they will do nothing about the disparity between Xbox and PS due to Xbox BC.  Ideally they should provide PS3 EA game streaming like/through PS Now, but I know that ain't happening.

 
I don't think there are enough EA games I'm interested in for a year subscription to be worth it, but I'll pay $5.00 for one month to play through the Titanfall 2 campaign and the Unravel games. I'll just have to subscribe when I know those will be the games I'll play at the time.

In other news, I might have missed it being mentioned here, but Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night got a release date. June 18 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. June 25 for Switch.

FWIW, MLB The Show isn't an EA game so you will not get any version of that.

I got a year for a few bucks off a couple years ago. Played a few things with it but yeah if you aren't into Sports games or BF there isn't a whole lot there for many gamers. I think half of my time with it I was playing Bejeweled 3. LOL. I did play through Hardline and enjoyed it. Some Unravel and Mirrors Edge. Just didn't see a need to chase down another discounted membership. A friend of mine just started Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4. If he tries to convince me to play that with him maybe. Even then this game has been really cheap many times. Currently $14.99 used at GS.

I doubt I will renew on PS4 or XBox anytime soon. Great value if you like EA's catalog but most of what they offer I am just not that interested in.

Yeah, on Xbox you have pretty much every Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Dead Space game plus a lot of arcade games from the 360 era. So it’s far more than sports games for Xbox.

Probably about double the total number of games that will be available to PS4 so the value isn’t the same.

Perhaps some change is coming to PS4 in June that no one has anticipated that somehow affects EA Access in a more meaningful way?  I dare not say backwards compatibility, but what if a start date of July has more meaning than we realize because it somehow gives access to more Playstation EA games than are currently available (to put it more on par with Xbox)?  I'm sure i'm over thinking this.

It’s still worth pointing out for those that have both systems. You can’t deny that there are quite a few more games available to Xbox One users.

Why would I point that out to myself when talking about how I'm going to switch platforms? I'm not telling other people which platform to subscribe on, just where my interests lie for this service.

 
Shitty week for me. The only thing I was going to grab from Frisky's list was the Game of Thrones theme, but turns out I already had it. I own the one game I want from the PS+ lineup, the EA Access thing doesn't affect me at all (pfft...sports), there aren't even any new releases I'm interested in. Going back to work on my backlog.

I had a similar problem with Hitman back when it was free on plus but I assume the cause was different compared to whatever happened to you. I'd definitely check with customer service to see if they can help.

Also if you need to double check to make sure you did purchase it you can always check your emails since you get one for each purchase you make.

I was just saying it’s a valid point for others who aren’t familiar with the service to know when making a choice if they have both platforms. It’s good to share information.
