I'm also debating Fight Night Champions. I have Fight Night 4 in my backlog, anyone know if this game is a huge step up from that one?
Also looking for input on Fight Night Champions - I played 3 or 4 for a bit and enjoyed it, always like a good boxing game (not that anything could surpass the Punch Out series).

Ended up with Hitman (will go great with my 360GoD $10 Absolution), Alice, Lord of the Rings (100% this on 360 then traded it in), The Simpsons (miss when free), R&C Collection, ICO, MK Vita, and Batman.

Overall a great sale, though I will say the one MS had was on par with this, which is not usually the case. So kudos to them both.

There is no better way to plunge into bankruptcy my friend. Who needs food, water, and shelter when you have massive amounts of digital games?!? :joystick:
Just make sure to get a really long weather proof extension cord or two while you still have some teeth to sell.

Edit- Aaaaaaannnnnndddd double post... >.<

Laura Bailey (Saints Row: The 3rd female voice 1) is the voice for the female character in Silent Hill Book of Memories. She's awesome. She also voices Rise in Persona 4 Golden, which doesn't sound anything like her.

I played all r&c on the PS2. Even deadlocked. Great fun. I hated the spaceship segments in the first one.

Going to get the Lego games and the war in the north game.
Maybe Alice and force unleashed? At. $5 its hard to pass up

So I think I'll be grabbing Alice, War in the North, Lego Pirates, Lego Batman (Vita), and Book of Memories.

I grabbed all the same games coincidentally. ~$4-7 for a bunch of good games that are about a year old? Sure.

I was trying to thank the people who gave me advice on XMEN vs Simpsons, but can't find it among the last few pages, so thanks, might go with XMEN, if they make it free on Plus I will sue them.

If they quoted you check your notifications. Top right of the screen probably with a red number highlighted.

i know i want silent hill, just not sure if i should get the DL version on sale or try to buy the disc version and sell it to recoup the cost later.

my 32gb got full a week or two ago and i had to delete some minis to put deadly premonition on. that means I have to beat a few of the free plus games and delete them such as Uncharted.

I like physical copies too but when digital is this much cheaper its a no brainer for me. I know memory is an issue though. Cheapest I have seen silent hill physical is ~$20.

Its also not too big of a game. 1.5 GB. (Now lets not talk about MK or escape plan with updates)

I don't even...wait what?

A disc based version of a Vita game I figure is a minor oversight. But...how did you get Deadly Premonition on your Vita?

sorry im dunk and havent played the last free vita game yet so i dont know the name of it. has a gas mask guy on it. whatever that was.

Drunk (dunk) at 130pm on a Wednesday? I am jealous of your lifestyle! (unless you live across seas or something and it's later there)

The first I've heard of Atlus having trouble was on this thread and it actually makes me quite sad. Atlus has always been one of my favorite publishers growing up. :(
Atlus is fine, but their parent company fucked up big time from what I've read, so they may have to sell off Atlus. Atlus makes games on reasonable budgets with reasonable expectations that they meet most of the time, so they're not the reason for the financial issues of Index.

I haven't read all of the posts that I missed, but I hope I'm not seeing remnants of a dumb Xbox vs. PlayStation argument.

It is indeed 5pm somewhere, but if that were the time to start drinking during the week I would be in trouble.  I wish I were drunk right now instead of being at work and having to listen to these conference calls that go round and round and never accomplish a thing.

Ah mmk. Thanks for clearing that up a little bit for me. Hope Atlus survives the screw up then or gets bought by somebody better.

Aaaaand yeah that's what you're seeing. I'm hoping it's done now :p

When I as a manager at Gamestop for a very limited amount of time, we'd have to do a stupid District Manager conference call once a week which never really accomplished anything like you said. It was more of a reaming out time for the people/stores the DM was mad at. I usually just had myself muted for the whole thing unless I had to talk.

I'm in a much happier place in my life now haha.

^This. I wonder if Sony or Nintendo jumps in and buys them.

I dont think anyone was saying Xbox or Playstation were better it was just the specific sales on each platform. And pretty much 1 guy was trying to say the sales being better than another could be quantified. Blew my mind twice. Then again maybe I am drunk right now and I dont know it.
That would still be a PlayStation vs. Xbox argument.

To hopefully put it to a rest, both services are or just had great sales covering a big variety of games that should have something for everyone. They were both great and there's no need to argue about which is better like somebody loses when we all won by getting these great deals. It's weird that I even have to say this.

They won't go the way of THQ. I just hope Nintendo won't try to take advantage of the situation, so persona 5 will remain a PS exclusive.

And you dont have to say it since no one was arguing that PSN (or the PS3) was better than Live (or the 360) or vice versa.

You're right about that because Atlus is nowhere near as big as THQ. Someone will buy them outright just for the Megami Tensei IP.

i'd love to see sega buy atlus

mostly because they have an ENORMOUS bankroll, they release everything on every platform including PC, regularly have amazing sales on their stuff, and theyre not afraid to get weird

This is off topic but I see in your sig you're playing Rogue Legacy. I haven't played my preordered copy yet because I'm trying to beat some other stuff first but how do you like it?

No matter what happens to Atlus, Shin Megami Tensei will never die, since it's so huge in Japan (third highest-selling RPG series after FF and DQ, last I heard).

Public service announcement. Do not buy Fast and Furious Showdown, regardless of the price. It is a bad original XBOX game, at best.

I guess I don't get why Namco would be a bad play for Atlus. They're fairly small in the scope of big publishers and I don't recall hearing about them shutting down studios all of the time. They could just have them as another wing of the publisher like D3 that operates on its own, though I could be wrong about that aspect of their business. I don't see Sony or Nintendo outright buying them.

It would be cool if an Xseed or Nippon Ichi (NISA) or one of those small localization publishers could scrounge up the money to get them since they seem to be stable enough to just let Atlus do its own thing. They'd get the business that Atlus got along with more original properties and such to expand a bit.

I was kind of thinking of Xseed or NISA too since they are all similar companies and Atlus even published at least one Disgaea game. Then again, same with Sega and Shiren the Wanderer. Either way, Atlus published a lot of quality games, but their developed games are their biggest games (aside from Catherine?) so I don't see them disappearing completely. Assuming any of this happens in the first place. I just want to see more of their games back on Sony consoles since I don't own a 3DS.

can't lie, the reviews of SMT 4 are making me think about grabbing one.
