You know there's a problem when the sale price of RE6 is lower than Operation Raccoon City.

The Chronicles games have me wanting a Move controller...

They're missing an up-sell opportunity by not having a full RE bundle of everything for like $50. Capture some of those people saying that they're going to pick and choose from the selection.

Was all set to buy Thomas Was Alone, but this day 1 dlc that is a dollar less than the full game is a turn off. Is this supposed to have a substantial amount of content?
Dragon's Crown's release date has been announced:
poor choice imho

Yeah, when I saw that nobody had a review of it today, I started to get worried that the game isn't going to be very good.
Decided to get RE5 instead of RE4 for the coop. Hope I won't be disappointed!
I have not played RE5. But going through RE4 right now and I might be close to the end. And I'm telling you RE4 is one of the best games ever.. I mean damn.. 20hrs in and it still keeps on giving me surprises. I'm impressed how they managed to put this much variety on a game that pretty much all you do is shoot. It beat Uncharted 2 as the best tps i've played.

So get RE4 too, lol:D

Well I chose RE5 instead because of the coop. I've played RE4 on PS2 before and wasn't too into it. Probably because of the stop to shoot aspect. Played RE5 demo on the 360 for the coop and had more fun with it. And seeing as I've never played any RE game, I don't think I'll be too disappointed

RE4 is probably my favorite of the series but damn is RE5 fun when you have a friend to play with. RE6 isn't too shabby either when you play with a friend.

Wait until you start meticulously planning who carries what, it's hell a lot of fun. Too bad RE6 got rid of this inventory system.

I actually enjoyed resident evil: ORC (maybe because i bought for $10) and was wondering if the Spec Ops DLC is worth? Anyone who has it and can give me an honest opinion, i would really appreciate it.

You mean the Fubar Pack? No I would not say it is worth $4 and really anything multiplayer related dlc. I'm pretty sure you can find it from someone here for $1.
How do ppl play re 5 the controls just make the game unplayable lol i hate it
Play for 2-3 hours then you will not even care about different controls. If you can not get used to it then sorry but most of us adapt if we stick with something for a short time. Try cod.
PS Store update blog is up

If anyone gets Black Star Shooter, let me know how it is. It's rather surprising to see it finally be released after a few years.
I'm reviewing it so I'll post a quick impression after I get some time with it.

Does anyone have the RE:CVX HD tell me if it's a decent HD port or really sloppy work?

I'm sold on the Chronicles games but RE:CVX seems a little pricey still at over $9.

he is talking bout the echo six missions for special ops in re orc, not spec ops fubar pack dlc, lol. and yeah i would buy it for $10 for both. the first 3 missions are free and this gives you a total of 9 missions so pretty much a whole new game. capcom is horrible for their dlc, but this dlc at this price is pretty much a new orc campaign.

im just curious why they dont have the re6 siege dlc on sale. all else is on sale. ill grab those other 3 dlcs for $2ish each.

also im down to play those echo missions and re6 dlc trophies if anyone is down. peace.
also if anyone has army of two devils cartel and wants to run through insanity. damn thats tough solo. peace
for future reference, you can buy things off the sonyentertainmentnetwork.com store, and download them from your history on your playstation device:)
Damn, I didn't know you could do that. Last time I was on the psn website you could only browse stuff, not actually buy anything.

Picked up RE1-3, Thomas Was Alone and Star Trek. While that last purchase was probably a huge error, I'm a big fan of Abrams' Trek. I'll try to get some time in and post Trek impressions after Knicks-Celtics tonight...

Yeah, I don't understand. I can adapt to pretty much any control scheme given enough time... and usually it's a short time. My only exception is, there is a fantastic game that I will never, ever play again (Final Fantasy XII) because it took me weeks to readjust to other video games after 80+ hours of it.

I already have the Resident Evil Chronicles games for the Wii. Are they worth the PS+ $7.34 price for the HD upgrades?

I've never played RE 1, 2, or 3 :)dunce:), so I'll definitely buy those.

If I buy all 5, that's around $25, which I guess means I need to buy 2 $20 cards. I'd rather not put my credit card info into my psn account (I know I'm weird for liking my banking info unhacked :)).

Is there any way to buy PSN cards in $5 or $10 increments?

I don't recall anything nuanced about the controls in FFXII, what am I forgetting?

$5 cards don't exist but $10 should be available at every retailer. Gamestop and Best Buy definitely carry them.

had no idea thomas was alone had an expansion pack coming. loved it when i played it on steam and was already considering rebuying to have on my vita. geeked for the expansion now! :D

ninja edited: saw the cross-play mention down in the text.

Says it on the game's page for each platform:
Purchasing this content entitles you to both the PS3 system and PS Vita system versions!
I also have both versions on my download list to back it up.

I'm very intrigued by the possibilities in next weeks PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's featured franchises sale. Hoping for a discount on the Sly Collection.

you can always use paypal on your psn account?

It lets you put $5
Does anyone know if playstation all-stars battle royale is going to be on sale itself?
I can't imagine they would have a PSASBR-themed sale and not put the actual game on sale. But I doubt it will be much better than its last sale price with the anniversary sale.

Or if you want to pay cash locally go to Gamestop and Best Buy. Gamestop does not sell the cards anymore, but they print the code on the receipt.

Truth be told, I'm not sure which is actually inverted and which isn't... but FFXII's horizontal camera is pretty much the opposite of every other game.

excited for this. Really want to buy it to support indy devs on the vita, but can't get myself to pull the trigger. SWAY ME!

Small thing on Sly Collection, the disc version has a 4th game made up of various unlockable mini games that isn't available with the digital version.

Which are rather horrible IMO. They were just there to tack a "Supports Move" logo on the box. Haven't heard of anyone actually playing them for any reason but for trophies.

I was in the process of buying Thomas Was Alone and saw the day one dlc and decided nope. I'll wait for the first non-PS+ sale, which could be while. It's disappointing but it's just something I don't like. I really wish it would have been included with the full game.

I really like having the full Playstation Store available online now. It's nice to enter prepaid PSN cards this way. The store looks and works great.

Got an hour into Black Rock Shooter and it's actually not bad. The game seemed insulting simple at first but it's precision based combat where you only have a few things you can do but it matters greatly when you do them. Dodging your enemy's attack at the right moment and not being too aggressive with attacks so you don't overheat and what not.

Once I hit the first major boss, the combat seems to click pretty well together and it feels enjoyable.

The game's fully voiced in Japanese with english subtitles and from what I can gather so far, there's a good amount of game in here to justify the $19.99 price tag.

Tested and plays well on the Vita.
Which are rather horrible IMO. They were just there to tack a "Supports Move" logo on the box. Haven't heard of anyone actually playing them for any reason but for trophies.
Totally true. They're quite awful aside from quick trophies.

The DLC isn't really Day One in the sense of a lot of other more scam-like ones - I believe the original game that's been out on Steam/Origin is what's offered at the $7.99/$9.99 point and the DLC is all new content exclusive for the Sony systems. So, yes, it could've been included in the game but it's not as though they gimped the 'full release' in order to have Day One DLC.

Sounds sweet! Just gotta make some room on my memory card and download it. Does it have unlockable costumes that you know of or other unlockables?

My download code didn't include anything right off the bat as an unlockable but looking at the equip screen, there should be more costumes you unlock as you play the game along with some gallery/movie stuff as you play the "free hunt" after you beat a stage.

The game clocks in at around 1gig.
