I have an 8GB and have yet to have any issues. I know some people need to have very single thing they've ever downloaded on their system at the same time, but I only keep what I'm actively playing, and then delete the rest. You can redownload at any time, so I see no reason to go over 8GB at this point in time.
I'm normally pretty good at managing my paltry 8gb of vita memory, but I recently deleted P4G to make room for some other games and forgot to back it up to my PC . THANKFULLY, I had a backup save uploaded to PS+, but it's understandable why some don't want to bother with all the memory management since it can be cumbersome. I'm just waiting for a price drop on the larger sizes and then I'm never dealing with my current card again.
Was asked earlier in the thread, but does anyone know if Bioshock Infinite PS3 will continue to include Bioshock as a bonus, or was it just a first run promotional thing? Can't find a solid answer.
If u are talking about the psn store deal dead.

retail store
First prints all have it.

It's a PSABR heritage sale, but Revengeance isn't on sale, but all the other MGS games are :( Oh well, pretty awesome sale and unexpected!
Off topic psn question: I recently got a new router and ever since my ps3 and vita downloads are super slow. My pc d/l steam files 1.2 mb/sec and my xbox d/l files at 1.0 mb/sec. But my ps3 and vita are ~200kb/sec. On my pc on speedtest.net I get 11mb down and 1.9mb up but on the ps3 connection test is says 7.5mb down and 1.5mb up. I used to get 1mb/ sec downloads with my old router on my ps3, any ideas? Also my nat is type 2 and im using wired connection.
Try pausing/unpausing your downloads. It's weird but it often works!

It's not your connection though, so don't go through the hassle of stressing about that stuff.

Right, I get that stores have it included now in retail releases - I just wonder if it's limited to first runs or if they'll continue keeping it on disc indefinitely. For instance, Dead Space Extraction was included in the first run 'limited edition' of Dead Space 2, but not in later, further printings of the disc.

MGS question: with the 'trasfarring' back and forth between Vita and PS3, do the HD collections share trophies between MGS2+MGS3?
MGS question: with the 'trasfarring' back and forth between Vita and PS3, do the HD collections share trophies between MGS2+MGS3?
The only trophy rules I know about transfarring is that you won't be able to earn trophies in Peace Walker on a file that was started on the PSP.

I doubt there's any of that if you go back and forth between the PS3 and Vita.

Right, so if I get a trophy on the Vita will it count on the PS3 edition as well, or will I have to get it on each system separately? Didn't expect it for Peace Walker since it's PSP and not in the VITA HD collection.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/me...ons-liberty-hd-vita-trophy-guide-roadmap.html

This suggests that they support Cross Trophies, though it mentions some weird requirements for the save transfer process:
One of the abilities with the Vita version of this game is you can transfer your data to your PS3 and play the game on your PS3 if you wish; there are a few things you should know about this however. The first one to be able to transfer your data is you need to be connected to the PSN when you make your first save. Then when you transfer your data, the data on your Vita will be locked from earning trophies but you will be able to earn trophies while you play on the PS3. You can continue to earn trophies on your Vita only after you transfer your data back. Now here comes the big part; if you data transfer there is a chance you will not earn trophies. To prevent this problem I advise you play strictly on your Vita as there is no definitive answer for what causes the trophies to not be earned.
Right, so if I get a trophy on the Vita will it count on the PS3 edition as well, or will I have to get it on each system separately? Didn't expect it for Peace Walker since it's PSP and not in the VITA HD collection.
Here's how it works. You get a trophy in the vita version. Later on, you decide you want to play on your ps3, get the vita save file from the cloud and as soon as the save transfers over, you will be awarded with the same trophy you got on your vita.

So you get double trophies for your efforts!

edit: so slow :(

It's probably safe to suggest that you avoid MGPO Plus since it's a multiplayer-focused standalone expansion to Portable Ops, which was full of hackers around its launch and is probably completely dead at this point.

I have to assume that this isn't the full list because it's missing various potential games. Both of the God of War Origins games individually for PS3 that are PS+ exclusives, LittleBigPlanet: Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, Ratchet & Clank HD, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando HD, and Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters plus the DLC for any of these games. The Resident Evil sale also had DLC despite the original list in the PS+ update excluding them, so that can still happen.

Thanks for the list. I want to get as full of a collection of Metal Gear that I can get on my Vita, but I still haven't even made room for the GTA games...

Game is 16GB ;)
So for vita, is the hd collection of metal gear all essential or should I get just 3 and something else? I've only played mgs. Is portable ops any good?
MGS2 will play more like MGS1 while I'd say that MGS3 is the better game between the two, though I think everybody has a different order between all of the mainline games.

I enjoyed Portable Ops at the time since it was a follow-up to MGS3 and controlled fairly well for MGS at the time, though I'm sure it's more of an oddity in that department after Peace Walker and MGS4 have revamped the controls. It offers one of the most interesting metagame modes I've ever seen with the recruitment mode where you basically take your PSP with you while wardriving (driving around while detecting what WiFi signals are around you) and each new WiFi hotspot can spawn a new soldier for your army.

It seems like KojiPro is trying to get people to forget MPO with the way they've continually ignored it when opportunities for HD collections arose and their continued ignorance to the fact that it's still not compatible with the Vita yet. I'd love to see it get some sort of push so more people could play it and see
Was hoping the HD version of Code Veronica woud be on sale, oh well.
It's on sale now unless the psn is down.
Will be grabbing Ratchet FFA. So they still never released a date for the VITA version huh? I guess its safe to assume not to expect it anymore?
Maybe, but at least you still get Deadlocked HD for free when it's released.

Wooooot, I finally finished the story mode of Rock of Ages. Took about 11 months. ;) Awesome game. If anyone wants to play multiplayer, send me a friend request.
Maybe, but at least you still get Deadlocked HD for free when it's released.
do you think the HD is worth it? I have them all on PS2, and FFA seems kinda iffy, so if the HD isn't that much of a step up from progressive scan then I will probably pass.

So, if nothing has changed since this that seems like a pretty awesome deal on FFA with this sale, right? $9.79 with Plus for FFA and Deadlocked when it comes out and FFA will get you the Vita version in "Spring", too? Seems pretty great to me.

I'm disappointed with the way Sony handled Soul Sacrifice launch. There was no advertisement; they even forgot to mention it in the update notice and had to do a quick edit after people complained that it wasn't on the list. Fans asked if there was going to be pre-order bonus for 2 weeks and no answer was given. Today, a day before launch, they just use twitter to say that the game will have the bonus if you buy it tomorrow. Many people(including myself) wanted the PSN version because is convenient to always have it on the system but was forced to pre-order in store for the JP voice over and the other bonuses. Now Amazon shipped my copy and I can't return it (Used Promo credit/Restocking fee). If SS sells poorly, is not because is not a great game but because Sony simply refused to market it.

I like Sony products. Their first party exclusive games are usually some of the best games out there. The NA PSN team is the problem. They made the PSN store somehow work worse than it originally was. Their timing for releasing weekly updates is inconsistent, comparing to Nintendo, Microsoft, and any reputable company in fact. They can't even answer questions related to PSN that are important to the consumer about exclusive games merely weeks away from launching. Their selection for Plus IGC are lackluster (Compared to EU PSN team). The NA PSN team is the one thing holding back an otherwise great system. I been very tolerant of Sony mistakes, but this now just burst the bubble.

OK I will. :D

Just saw that they're both rather large (11+GBs for both of them). I think it's probably time I finally upgrade my PS3 hard drive. If anyone has any input on that, please let me know in this thread I created, I'm trying to find a decent deal. (Please don't post here in the PSN thread, we get pretty off topic already. TIA)

Reminds me of the Atelier Totori Plus stealth launch as well. Knowing Koei they'll complain the game had poor sales, and use that excuse to charge us more for future titles

Gah, I was waiting to activate this 30 day PS+ code I had so I could get the most out of Disgaea 3 on the Vita, but I never noticed that the code expired last month.

I'm the dumbest.

Wasn't it the number 1 or 2 selling Vita title that month? I believe they even tried to claim that was their strategy. The whole fiasco was strange.

Yeah, I think they just REALLY lucked out. The fact that the 10$ rebate promo was going on probably helped alot too

Has anyone been having trouble downloading purchased games from PSN since early Monday morning?

Both of my PS3s just got a system update forced on them, and for the first time ever in my years of downloading, whenever I select to download a game in my Download History on either system about 1 out of 3 times the download won't start. About 1 out of 6 times the download will show the progress bar but it will never show the "Download in background" button nor will it start downloading. At this point no matter what I do... keep waiting (I left it on for over an hour) or hit cancel and then yes... it remains stuck on this screen and my only option is to hit the power button. After it happened at least 6 times on both of my PS3s I decided that either PSN is messed up, there's a bug in this latest update, or something weird is happening with my Internet that has never happened before.

Anyone have any ideas what's going on with my PSN downloads?

Thank you very much you made my life easier.

Once Deadlocked is released, every Ratchet and Clank game will be on PSN except for A Crack in Time. Odd.
Yeah, I think they just REALLY lucked out. The fact that the 10$ rebate promo was going on probably helped alot too
Yes but when you consider the other new releases on the Vita that month, Totori could have sold very poorly and still made it to the top.
I hope it did well enough the Meruru Plus makes it. Same for the next new game in the series, but I'm sure whether that comes over or not would be based off of Ayesha's sales.

No idea what's going on, but I can say you're not the only one experiencing it. Our PS3s (one slim, one super-slim) froze completely four or five times while I was trying to get our Resident Evil sale content downloading. The 4.41 patch didn't fix the problem either.

in general i've been having bad/slow experiences with the PSN Store through my PS3.

No Uncharted on sale? I had been annoyed that my PS+ was supposed to expire yesterday and instead expired Sunday but there is nothing really good here that I don't already have except PS All Stars.

Guys be forewarned: Twisted Metal (PS3 version) is a terrible, shitty game. Especially if you have any crazy idea that the game is playable online. Suffice it to say its among the worst net code of any game this gen (including Wii and DS games) and the single player is short yet still repetitive. Racing in particular is pure torture.

Local multiplayer isn't great but it is passible. Otherwise the game is total shit.
