Does anyone have any thoughts on the Marvel - Arcade Pack DLC for LittleBigPlanet Vita? I finished the story mode last night and am wondering if this DLC content is worth the $5. Or, maybe just maybe, this DLC will go on sale as part of this PSASBR sale?
Gah, I was waiting to activate this 30 day PS+ code I had so I could get the most out of Disgaea 3 on the Vita, but I never noticed that the code expired last month.

I'm the dumbest.
I also had a 30day PS+ code when I bought the Journey collection used from GameFly last and the expire date was 3/31/13. I was bummed but decided to try anyway and it took the code. You should still try if you haven't.

For $5 you can't go too wrong. Also, I doubt it goes on sale today since it is pretty Marvel-centric and since it's pretty new. I have only played one of the three games it includes, but it has been fun. The one I played is a puzzle type game that is fairly basic, but does pose a little bit of challenge. The critical side of me will comment that this could be an iPhone or iPad game and doesn't really need the LBP universe, but there are some LBP styling cues and other costumes and related items you can apparently unlock as you progress in the game (I have yet to explore this closely). There also seems to be quite a few trophies for it being a simple $5 add on pack. I haven't even finished it yet, but if all of the content is similar quality, i'll be very happy since it's pretty well done. Also, there is a decent amount of content. If it is the same as what I have played, it seems like you could get 3 to 4 hours of gameplay pretty easily and possibly much more.
Once Deadlocked is released, every Ratchet and Clank game will be on PSN except for A Crack in Time. Odd.
And Tools of Destruction.
Anyone have any impressions on MGS HD Collection Vita?
Have it, is good. Is almost identical to the console version minus peace walker. Trophies require multiple plays for MGS2. A flawless run for MGS3. No complains really other than missing a game.

Has anyone played Sly Cooper on the Vita? The reason I ask is that while the $19 price for the PS3 and Vita is tempting I'm afraid that I wont touch the PS3 version at all. For instance, I purchased the PS3 version of PS Allstars played it maybe twice and played a big chunk of it on my Vita. Are there any control issues on the Vita that would make me wish I played with the dualshock? Or anything that makes the PS3 version much better?

PS3 version looks way better. Vita ditches the gorgeous cell shading, but it plays just fine. I ended up trading the disc in and am now playing through on the Vita, since getting all the credit I used to pick it up and netting the Vita version for free was a no brainier.

So Xbox, Google Play, and iTunes are all getting 50% off the Zen Pinball Star Wars tables. I really hope PSN gets a chance at this sale as well. Now that I have a Vita, I'm trying to make all my pinball purchases through PSN.

The Vita version has much longer loading times. Supposedly, you can use the Vita to help point out masks and treasures in the level, but I could never get it to work when I wanted to go back through each level to get that stuff after I beat the game.

It does have Cross Trophy support, so you only need to play one version, upload that save to the cloud, and start up the other to unlock all of the trophies you've earned right away.

How well does pinball play on a Vita? It seems like it might be difficult with the screen size. I heard something about being able to hold the Vita sideways, but ergonomics on the Vita are already spotty for me.

I just started on 2, the one thing I don't like is the touch screen to scroll through weapons. Besides that the game looks great and plays great so far.

I think it plays great. I only hold it normally, but I've had zero problems with it. I've set a couple personal high scores on the Vita, so I don't feel like the smaller screen takes away from the experience at all.

It's great if you stand it up long ways. You can then use the touch screen as the flippers but it looks more like a real pinball table that way (more long than wide). I'm not sure why they didn't include being able to use the buttons which they did on the psp for pinball arcade and was a pet peeve of mine but I think it still plays pretty great.

Are the trophies shared between the PS Vita and PS3 version of MGS2? Or does each have its own unique trophy set? I have the disc version on PS3 and noticed there is a transfarring option for that game to the vita.

This evening.
Anyone have any impressions on MGS HD Collection Vita?
Great package, although Peace Walker is not part of the collection. The games look great and they feel right at home on the vita. The gameplay is very similar to the PS3 version with some subtle differences, mostly gimmicks requiring use of the front touch screen, to scroll through weapons/items, and rear touch screen, for slitting soldier's throats. Due to this, you might want to purchase a CTA/PDP grip to avoid hand cramps.

At this price it is a no brainer, you are getting a ton of content for your money.

Wonder if the DLC for PS All-Stars will be on sale. Rather weird they'd do a sale on the game and a TON based on the characters that appear in it, but not the DLC. Wouldn't mind getting the bundle of Isaac, Zeus, and the Graveyard stage for 1/2 off.

They unique trophy set, not shared. However you must have the vita version online and connected to PSN when you play for the transferring to work properly. If you started the game while not connected to the network you wont be able to transfer save with trophy. If you transfer the save file. You automatically unlock all the trophy on the PS3 version. Can double dip for a single effort.

any reviews of RC:FFA and/or Deadlocked? I'd be waiting on the vita version so it's extra hard to pull the trigger.

What's worse, i already own Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time, Quest for Booty, AND the damn HD Collection... but the only R&C game i have only ever played was half of Tools of Destruction. I got sidetracked halfway through (but absolutely loved it), then never went back because i was waiting for trophy support that never happened.

And... yea. Now I'm buried in Ratchet and Clank backlog that i got 'cheap'. Yes, this i got myself in an idiotic position, and yet i'm still debating getting even more R&C.
Man, that's lame, as I also would've picked up the Zeus, Isaac, and Graveyard stage if they were on sale. I can't justify spending $10 on it, but it would be an insta-buy if it dropped to $5 (or maybe even $7.50).

Thanks for confirming, though, Frisky.
Yeah, thanks for letting us know. Guess I'll have to wait longer for them to be discounted. Most likely nothing for me this week, then.

Deadlocked wasn't one of my favorite R&C games, as it is much more a shooter than a platformer. It also has a slightly darker, more serious tone, that I didn't really enjoy after the awesome jokes in Up your Arsenal (which is still the pinacle of the series IMO). It's hard to say if I'd recommend it to someone that still has most of the series to play, as by that time you might be burned out on it all. I'd say it depends on how much interest you have in FFA, to determine if it's worth it.

This would have been the response I made, verbatim. Completely playable on the vita, but the ps3 is miles ahead visually. Despite the fact, I traded my ps3 copy in and play it exclusively on vita.

Hmm.... wonder if I should trade in some physical copies and get the digital ones that are part of this sale...

You could just do what I did and go on ebay to find some of the dlc codes people might not have wanted that were packaged in with God of War: Ascension (gives you both Isaac and Zeus, but not the graveyard stage). A cursory glance on ebay shows a "buy it now" for $6.00

like what someone else said, you can find them quite cheap on ebay. I actually won the two pack for $2.75 the other day.

Just caught an email from Sony with a free Soul Sacrifice DLC code for a Spirits' Falconfeather. I do not have the game pre-ordered.

It states there will be more free DLC to look forward to on 5/28, 6/11, and 6/25.

Check your emails if you're snagging this game tonight :)

Do you guys think anyone will have Soul Sacrifice for $29.99 within a month? I do want it but Im gonna wait a bit till I finish these other couple games I have. If it hasnt gone on sale by then Ill pick it up at regular price. The demo was awesome.

sweet so it was just a random email?

hmm Thomas Was Alone
YAY or NAY?

I'd guess it was random. I downloaded the demo but never got around to starting it.

Thomas Was Alone YAY YAY YAY :D
(if you like a game that's actually meant to be gleeful, lighthearted, fun. not a precision platformer by any means, though there are a lot of clever character/level design bits baked in.)

Smart marketing on Sony's part (for once). I downloaded the demo and never played it (yet), but now I am instantly more interested in buying this game since I got the same email. I have problems...
I think the Sly collection is coming to Vita via cross buy. I found this article.

That article is from August. I'd assume they meant Sly 4, not the Sly Collection, would be cross-buy.

I really don't think the Vita version of the Sly Collection (which hasn't been 100% confirmed yet) will be cross-buy.
I think the Sly collection is coming to Vita via cross buy. I found this article.

Looks like false information because of a typo. The Sly Collection wasn't even known to be coming to Vita until the ESRB rating appeared a few weeks ago, so I'm betting that they meant Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

I've got some good news, which is that I purchase PSP component cables at the only local GameStop that had them. So now I can record some PSP footage to go with all of the consoles that I own. I'll probably do a video of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops to test it out.

question dont it say you can download 6 GAMES to the VITA if you join the PSN network thing

what 6 games are those cause i can only find 4 or so without going online..
