Rayman was $10 at the BBY blowout, along with Deus Ex for $10, and inFamous 2 for $10.

Tsel broadcast the whole thing while sitting on the toilet.
LMFAO. I can't believe you still remember that. For the record, I wasn't just "sitting" at the toilet. Best Buy wasn't the only one having a blowout. ;)

What a shitty thing to say.
You guys must have serious self control to have skipped on $10 Rayman and $10 KoA from BBY, especially at that time when everybody was trading stuff and accumulated tons of credit.

Even I caved in, I salute you gentlemen.
I caved on KoA for $10 at BB, but then it shot back up in price and I resold it for like $20. So I'd love to get it on PS+.

Yes, my life is awesome. And I'd love to share it with an awesome person, so if you know of someone who's available, let me know. Just an average 20-something looking for a night of passionate steam. A lil' ps3, too, if they're into that. Normally don't do this sort of thing.

You obviously missed the fact that my post was a pun based on a previous post. Here's a hint: it has to do with bowel movements.

When you beat Sleeping Dogs, you get the "Detective Shen" preset outfit with a tan jacket and black pants. I thought it was just the police inspector clothes without the bonus XP perk, but it has a neat little secret; when you hijack vehicles with this outfit on, Shen uses his police badge to commandeer the vehicle (rather than pulling out the occupant), and also uses a tazer when landing finishing blows in melee. This game is chock full of neat little touches.
Not that it has any meaningful sway at all, it's fun to see the 'port Skullgirls to vita' love on this blog thread:

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/05/14/skullgirls-color-dlc-today-new-characters-coming/
I never got why these people are asking for more ports of the game... I mean, Skullgirls wasn't that successful (though it was amazing!) and needed a kickstarter campaign to even get the DLC made. The worse were the Wii U people who took their comment as your standard "The Wii isn't selling, so we won't port it" remark, when it was probably more of a "We're barely clinging to life and can't risk porting it for such a small fan base".

It needed a crowdfunding campaign because their publisher had a legal issue that caused all of their money to be frozen, so they had nothing to let them continue working on the game.

In May of 2012 Autumn Games, the publisher for Skullgirls, became embroiled in a lawsuit alongside Konami filed against them by City National Bank over allegations of fraud. With their assets frozen by the courts, Autumn Games was unable to give Reverge Labs their share of the profits from sales of their game. Suddenly without income, the developer went through a series of layoffs before eventually dissolving, with the core team reforming under the newly branded Lab Zero Games in November of 2012.

So I saw some Remember Me DLC in the PSN store, a pack of combo moves for use in "The Combo Lab". Was free, but gave error when trying to download since it's not supposed to be on there yet.
It needed a crowdfunding campaign because their publisher had a legal issue that caused all of their money to be frozen, so they had nothing to let them continue working on the game.
Additionally they sold something like 50k copies in the first 10 days of release and had previously announced plans for a Linux port. And their kickstarter was outrageously successful. It's a stylish good looking game which would fit right in on the fighter friendly Vita and people like it. Why would people not ask for it?
I'm going to assume we're not allowed to discuss game sharing on here, right? Better to ask than risk getting banned
There's a thread for that in the PS subforum.

It's not an inappropriate topic on CAG, but this is the wrong thread. Look in the PS3 section for an extensive gameshare thread.

I'm aware, I never said or meant to suggest the two were related, though I stand by a company that needs to get funding like that isn't likely to port to either system without redoing that or a sudden random boom in profits.

I was referring to the part where you said it wasn't successful enough for them to be able to make DLC without crowdfunding, which isn't true at all. They got none of the money that they should've gotten since the launch of the game, so they had no money for their own personal finances and to invest in further development of the game. It's kind of hard to do anything when you're not getting paid.

I think we need a vita port of Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, and Metro Last Light. All with the same graphics. Get on it Sony, times a wastin!

where is this "Yggdra Union (have not played yet got it free using the knights in nightmare code" deal that was mentioned?

do the puzzles get hard? i like a challenge, and they're often hard to come by because most games make them too easy.

to be fair, he said he has five kids, not that he manages them.
So, not only were you able to do this well before the campaign ended (and with no additional DLC), but you did it without replaying a single mission...? Please, lend me your potion.
i plat'd sleeping dogs when it came out and definitely didn't have any problems getting all the experience during my playthrough w/o any dlc.

pretty easy plat, overall. the gambling one could be a pain, but ended up being easy for me.

such a good game, glad everyone is getting a chance to play it.

I'm guessing the preorder bonus for Resident Evil Revelations is another theme? I didn't see anything about it on the game page but figure that's what it is with the download size showing at 2mb now like it has with other preorders.

Just to jump on the P3 discussion: I have P3P and very much don't mind navigating the world or the static images for conversations... Is the FES edition really going to give the game another 70+ hours when I still have the female storyline to play in P3P?

From what I can tell it's about half that (obviously I haven't played it yet so this is purely based on the internet):

Persona 3 FES (ペルソナ3 フェス, Perusona 3 Fesu) is an epilogue and enhancement for Persona 3. It serves as the 5th entry in the Persona Series, and it contains an estimated 30 additional hours of gameplay over the original Persona 3, most of which comes in the form of an epilogue called Episode Aegis in Japan and The Answer in the localization.

Thanks for the reply. What the hell, it's $5. As for anybody who hasn't played any of the Persona games, I was not a fan of dungeon crawlers at all, but this game is so far beyond that. I've gone through P3P at a snails pace (about 62 hours over 10 months) but it's a wonderful time sink. Definitely pick it up if you get the chance. I'm assuming the console iteration is just as good as the portable.

Most, if not all, pre-orders come with a theme.

so im liking sleeping dogs thanks to ps+ since the DLC is on sale does any of it really stand out? there are so many options. anything worth getting while on sale?

One option you have is that you could finish out the storyline on p3p with the more streamlined combat mechanics and such at the cost of the cutscenes but buy P3 FES on sale right now and play "The Answer" after finishing the p3p playthrough. The answer doesn't carry over anything from your "journey" or the regular game playthrough so it wouldn't matter that you actually did that on p3p instead, they are separate options so you would just select The Answer on it, having already experienced The Journey by playing through P3P. It would just be a bit jarring to get used to the change back to the AI controlled teammates. The Answer is also considerably more difficult just as a heads up especially with AI controlled teammates, so save often and enjoy the ride if you so choose it.

I just pre-ordered it via the Store and it does come with the Theme. I am just confirming it just in case.

slightly off topic re: persona.

holy crap am i loving digital devil saga. all the great combat, none of the social links. i wish they'd make DDS (and devil summoner 1/2) for vita.

(i want to love p4g... i just can't stand the social part of that game).

I just picked up the ones with trophies. The other two "major" packs seem to just be a fighting tournament mode and some car combat missions. I'm okay with skipping those.

So I finally got around to playing Critter Crunch from that ps+ sale ages ago. I'm glad there were solutions to the puzzles or it would have taken me significantly longer. Decent enough game for $1.40, but I am extremely glad to be done with it.

Sleeping Dogs starts to drag every time I go off looking for collectables, but every time I go back to the story missions it pulls me back in. The story is pretty entertaining. And I love that the missions arent all that long and drawn out. I wonder how this will impact my enjoyment of GTA 5. I hope Rockstar implements a similar system to SD where the missions are shorter and have more checkpoints.

why are you doing completely optional things in a game if you don't find them fun lol? just do the story mode, i'm idk maybe halfway done with it but i haven't done any real exploring and the game's still been easy enough without the boosts from finding random stuff.
