Clash of Heroes has local head-to-head, not co-op. But since it's a puzzle/battle game, you can just have one player controlling while both of you plan the moves/strategy sitting next to each other for the single player campaign. My wife and I did that, and then we really enjoyed local head-to-head as well.
Oh ok that makes more since then. Cause I didn't remember there being a coop option in the game. I'll see if she's interested at all in the single player campaign though. She plays match 3 games on her phone all the time lol.
Men's Room Mayhem is pretty cool. I also started Frobisher Says and what a weird game, I like it.
I'm enjoying Men's Room Mayhem as well. Only frustration is you kind of have to let yourself die after you've completed your 3 objectives, unless you are going for a high score. There should be a resign button or something, it would be a little bit of a time saver.

Frobisher Says is OK. I liked it in the beginning but it got old fast.

Yeah, you can buy whatever you want on the webstore. It will be linked to your account and you can download them to your PS3 whenever you get one.
You would need to buy Pinball Arcade before you could play it.
fuck. That sucks. Pinball Arcade needs to go the Zen Pinball route where the base is free and all titles are DLC. I'd hate to spend $30 for tables 1-10 then lose the ability to play them when my PS+ ends.

Does that save the objectives you completed that round? I'll try it out, I figured it would just exit you back out to the main menu without saving what I had done.

am I the only one that finds it extremely annoying that these "HD" editions always seem to neglect the cutscenes? Would it really have been that much work to upscale them with everything else? I played through Sly 1 HD recently, and the transitions between in game cutscenes and gameplay was horrible:cold:

If they're not real-time cutscenes, it would be a lot of work to completely redo all of them and I'd guess that the teams doing the remasters don't usually get access to all of the code and all that that would be necessary to doing that, so most of them only have the option to use those same videos.

I suppose, but it just feels so completely unconnected whenever I go from the crisp HD gameplay to the blurry mess of a cutscene (by comparison at least). I guess I don't really understand the full process of making an HD edition, so maybe it's more work than I think:whistle2:(

I don't find any problem with the Sly 1 cutscenes and think they look pretty good. You can tell they are not fully HD since they are still 4:3 format, but they do seem to be upscaled. I believe the difference between those cutscenes and the game is that the game world is built larger than 4:3 and then the original camera cuts it down to 4:3 whereas the cutscene was built to be in 4:3 format only. Since the world can be enhanced and then put a 16:9 camera on it, it can look closer to HD than a cutscene which would take all new art and programming to show at a wider angle.

I didn't really notice a difference with the Sly 1 cut scenes either. That whole game looked great in HD to me. The God of War HD upgrade is a different story. Some cut scenes looked amazing and others were major fugly and blurry.

I just read those comments and was about to say the same thing about DMC HD collection haha. Those are the worst I've come across in my remade in HD games so far.

I wasn't referring to the in between level cutscenes, which I agree look pretty good. I meant in game when it would cut to you talking, such as in the first level when you jump out the window and Carmelita stops you, Sly's character model looked completely different and really low res compared to the rest of the game. I don't know if this was just how the game was originally rendered that made it look to different, but it was really noticeable to me, and was the same in every instance it occurred.

If you complete an objective (get 10 near misses in a game) and quit to the main menu, it will count the objective as done. You dont have to get a game over to get credit for them. Once I get the objectives I was trying to get done, I just quit and start over.

Thanks! It wasn't a huge deal, but it was kind of boring making them fight or waiting for them to piss themselves for the level to end.

I'd like to argue that God of War 1 in HD had this problem to the max. You would go from shitty looking old pixely kratos, to smooth hd kratos when you had control... in one camera movement.

There are differences between the PSP and the fes versions, go back a few pages and you'll see a discussion about it.

I just played through GoW: Chains of Olympus, and the FMV also suffered from that problem. Didn't really bother me, though, considering it was originally a PSP game and looks pretty nice generally speaking.

Speaking of PSP games - I just got a bunch of Vita games in a package deal, and CoD Declassified was among them. Not sure if the voucher for the PSP CoD (Roads to Victory) has been redeemed, but I know I won't play it. Unfortunately, I can't check to see if it's redeemed without redeeming it, so... first come first serve to whoever wants to give it a shot:

You can just try redeeming it. If it's still valid, it'll ask you for confirmation before you use it.

You can check it without redeeming, just go on the site and cancel out or simply pushing circle on the PS3 (I think, haven't type one in since the new store).

Been playing R&C:FFA on Vita lately, and I don't mind it so much. I do agree that it seems like there's no reason it should have taken as long as it did though. Pretty fun little game once you get pat the fact that it looks like a complete turd.

No, I am on gold though. I know the 20 hand washes is going to be the worst. I dont know if its better to use the club and work with the top right toilet, or the festival and use the 4 toilets. I havent played that much yet, will have more time tomorrow to wok on it.

If you manage to get the 20, please share your strategy; I believe I'm on 16 now. 14 was hard enough...

Sony has not told the ps+ this week right cause where is BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND (PS Vita) or hasnt the ps + list come out for this week yet cause that game was to come onto ps+ in may (like i really have the space for it) LOL

if Ragnarok Odyssey was FREE on the ps + side i would of went crazy :) right now its 40 so i say 26.99 still over priced when you can get cart based for that...

cant wait to find out whats coming in JUNE

There is also an updated version of Ragnarok Odyssey called Ragnarok Odyssey Ace coming for Vita and PS3 later this winter. The game features all new content and features, a new epilogue, and cross-play between Vita and PS3. Depending on how good the deal is, you might want to hold off for what should be a better version.
With only one Tuesday left Guilty Gear has to be free for Vita next week, right? Is it a decent port? Easy trophies?
It's BlazBluye CSE, not Guilty Gear. It's an excellent port with all of the DLC from the console version included. I don't know if you're asking if it has any easy trophies or if all of them are easy. It may have some easy trophies but the completion rate on the platinum is

Yes, Blazblue is free next week, though I seriously doubt it will be easy trophies.
With only one Tuesday left Guilty Gear has to be free for Vita next week, right? Is it a decent port? Easy trophies?
A) It's Blazblue.
B) It's not a port, it's a multi platform.
C) There are some easy trophies, but some very hard trophies too. While it isn't the hardest Blazblue, it is harder than the original.

Finally, this trophy was a huge pain. Tried the Circus Map forever but clowns are so random. I recommend the HIPPIE Festival got it on wave 9. :whee:
After Labyrinth Legends was free on PS+, a discount now feels like the wrong chain of events:whistle2:?
More than likely it's a price drop to $5. Usually when they reveal "sales" like this on the blogcast they're actually price drops. It would make sense to drop the price since it was on PS+ so recently. Ragnarok is probably a price drop too, based on the info that just came out that Ace is confirmed for the US.

^^

Didn't consider that, good logic. Not sure if I'd recommend it still, but $5 is definitely a more reasonable price considering the rather small amount of content.

So is it safe to assume that everything in the AC 3 Ultimate bundle on sale this week will eventually come out as a Game of The Year edition? Should I just hold out for that? (And a lower price?)

I do hope the free BB:CSE will get more people into Blazblue.

It's actually quite a good fighting game series with a lot to like. The next iternation of the game called "Chrono Phantasm" is changing and adding some very interesting mechanics along with a handful of new characters so I hope CSE will encourage people to dive into CP when it come out new most likely near the end of this year in the states.

I would be surprised if they did. While the series hasn't received as much vitriol as Street Fighter, I think people would be wary of picking up a game that sees so many rereleases. Hell, we already know that Extend Shift isn't the latest version. If I remember correctly, it was released just six months after CS in Europe (and P4A still hasn't been released, I think). It doesn't help that Guilty Gear X3 was just announced.

Ya, I agree that the way they're handling the revisions of these games is poorly thought out but it's still a good game.

So I think a free copy of the game to PS+ users with a Vita is a positive move given how well it runs on the platform. Given there are less fighters on the Vita compared to 360/PS3, it's more of an incentive to check the game out even more if you're a fan of the genre.

I don't consider the announcement of GG Xrd as something to kill BB:CP considering it's clearly way early in its development cycle and most likely won't see the light of day in the states until well into 2014.

Extend Shift is the latest if you don't count the upcoming arcade game, but you're pretty much right. While a lot of people don't pay attention to these things, ARC has been getting a lot of hate / flack for their cash grab ways. Like by the time we got Blazblue on consoles in the first place, we were getting news of Blazblue CS on arcades. By the time we got CS, we already knew there would be DLC characters, which cost a total of $21 dollars for all 3 if I recall correctly. Around this time we also got the PSP / 3DS versions (with the DLC) of CS, though it was more of an updated port (as it had unique content). This is around when I started to hate ARC, since they have arguably one of the worst 3DS games out there. If you didn't read about it... The 3DS version didn't support online multiplayer (despite Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive both having it), didn't support standby (so you lose more power) and it for WHATEVER reason didn't support the thumbstick. The thing that REALLY pissed me off (and I suspect many others) is that this awful 3DS version was released on May 31st and BlazBlue CS II Plus (which later became BB CSE) was announced at E3, so this was about a week after release. Since then we've just had BBCSE and things have been okay.

@ Slade

It won't. Blazblue has too many things against it to win people over...

 • People are sick of fighting games being free with plus.
 • Less PlayStation owners have a Vita, so there goes a good percent of the market.
 • ARC loves to do revisions / charge for trivial DLC.
 • and if you don't agree with the above, it's also the largest (last I looked anyway) known Vita game with a heafty 3 gb+ download. Even with a 32 gb stick, that's a lot of space (10%+) for a single game.

@ the Guilty Gear talk

It's in the early stages and only confirmed for the arcade. It shouldn't have any impact on Blazblue in the here and now.

Wow, just looked it up and it's 3.3GB. Yeah, I'm not even going to download it.

Yes, I agree with all of those points but I wasn't making a prediction of what will happen but rather what I hoped will.

I'm not expecting a over night turn around of the player base or anything of the sort as I know how unlikely that is given the scenario presented before us. However, I'm always with the mentality that every little bit helps and this is certainly a case of that.
