I already own all the Pinball Heroes tables on the PSP. The game isn't compatible with the Vita for some reason. I sincerely hope they don't expect me to re-buy those eight tables again. They're sort of cool but they're a big step down from Zen Pinball or Pinball Arcade tables unless they underwent a major overhaul.

No, it's a Summer of Arcade title for Xbox Live Arcade, so it'll be exclusive there for a month or so once it releases there in August.

There are trophies for it, so it's been "remade" for the Vita like the few others that have been announced (Velocity, Floating Cloud God, 2D Rotating Octopus Character) that haven't been free for those that owned the original. Though to be fair, there's no information about it at all on the internet. Just the trophy list and one article about the trophy list.

i was dying almost instantly every time, sometimes making it halfway. about about 50 tries, i did some google research.

tons of people were reporting it being nearly impossible (like i was) but every once in awhile i saw reports of people doing it easy. this made me sit back and study my own experience, and i noticed that my 'checkpoint' had actually 'saved' 2 enemies far back in the hallway... and it turns out, these were the guys actually killing me, not the helicopter.

the helicopter sequence doesn't start the second of the checkpoint -- if you actually just stay still and kill the dude(s) far off, you can then do the helicopter run easily as it doesn't seem to actually kill you on it's on (unless you stop).

it's my belief that some people get to that checkpoint and have already killed all hallway enemies, thus never get sniped by them coming down the hallway... which is why some people reported it not being an issue at all. some also might only have 1 enemy, thus finally get by. if you have 2 or more (like i did) it was effectively impossible till i sniped them before starting the run.

You're probably right. I had read how people had a ton of problems with that section so I was dreading it and then I passed it on my first try. I thought I got lucky but maybe it's just cause everyone was dead.

 
Bladestorm was fun, but excruciatingly tedious. I have the 1000/1000 on 360, and it's a game I would never touch again, even if it DID have trophies. It's really frustrating to play like 10 levels in a row and not have the story progress at all for you.

It would be neat if they ever brought Musou Orochi Z over to the US - It's a compilation of Warriors Orochi 1 and 2 that came out in Japan, on disc, and has a platinum. That's a series I can never get enough of.

As for games with non-stacking difficulty trophies, a familiar one might be Shadows of the Damned. It's a great game the first time, but unskippable cutscenes (they really need to slap people for this, Insomniac is the same freaking way) make it a serious chore to play again. And again, since you have to do it 3 times.

playstation makes it hard to try to buy retail on disc. i guess it's about time i upgraded my hard drive. definitely getting shadow of the colossus, and probably lotr war in the north(even though i have it on 360). 

 
Looks like Shadow of the Colossus is stand alone and not the collection. Which means it's not coming to IGC this month.

Very tempted by Mortal Kombat and Simpsons Arcade. Damn you nostalgia!!!
 
Tempted by R&C Collection for $7.50, though I think I might still get physical. Already got Simpsons & Scott Pilgrim on PS+, but still good deals. Might get X-Men (already have it on XBLA) if there's friends to play it with. Arkham Asylum is also really tempting (played it on 360, then got the sequel with my new PS3 black friday of 2011).

Hoping the PS+ games this month will be as good.

 
Now I wish I would have not picked up the original R&C for $3.75. I will most likely still get the collection for the other 2 games though.

 
Unfortunately, I think all the good deals are games I already have played or have no interest in.

I am considering Lego Batman 2 for Vita, and I do not even have a Vita yet   :dunce:

If Hitman Trilogy or Amazing SpiderMan were sub $10, I would be tempted.  I can't pull the trigger at those prices though.

 
Holy crap.  Guess I'll go get some psn cards today.  First time I've seen Silent Hill vita at a reasonable price, and MK vita digital for $5 is a no brainer.  Alice for $4 (with the now free online pass giving you the original?) is icing.  And I just sold Prince of Persia FS before getting to replay it.  Sony's got my number apparently.

You'd get the original Alice anyway, so the online pass being free doesn't change anything for the digital version of the game.

 
Pretty awesome upcoming sales. I was really hoping for San Andreas to go on sale again, but ah well. This sale is better than I expected anyway.

I reviewed it, and really it isn't a bad game if all you want is more PoP. The main problem is that is pretty much all you get, more of the same. It is also very easy (the challenge room is a complete joke of a name), and not as memorable as the others, but for what it is I had a decent amount of fun with it and think it's still a good game. If you're a big fan of the franchise it's definitely worth the measly $4 ;)

 
I always try to fight the urge to re-buy games I've beaten but the POP trilogy for $8 is calling my name. Loved those games.

I just noticed an Alice bundle in the store is the same price as the regular version. Seems with the free original Alice, the only difference is a $2 weapons & dress pack. Guessing it'll just be the regular version on sale, but thought I'd throw it out there since they're both the same price.

Looks like a good game for a platformer fan, even without playing the original, especially for $4. Any thoughts?
 
Wow, I'll definitely be picking up both Lego games for :ps3: I had been waiting for the physical copies to drop to $10 or below, but $5 for digital is perfect.

Doubt I have the hard drive space though. I really need to get rid some of some of my iGC.

I didn't enjoy it very much. It has a TON of bugs and glitches, is very repetitive with levels that go on far too long, and the story while good is not something I would care to relive again, I personally wouldn't recommend it, but I know a lot of people liked it, so maybe I'm in the minority. Great art, terrible game design :headache:

Dang, nice price on Prince of Persia Trilogy, Ratchet and Clank Collection, and on MK Vita and Lego Batman Vita. I wish I didn't just purchase the PoP trilogy from GS last Sunday. Sucks to see R&C Collection for half the price of what I paid for it a few months back too. Oh well, those are great prices for those who haven't pick it up yet.
