So can I just download the Battlefield 3 trial now? And then if I start playing when the store updates, the game will be automatically be unlocked after the 60 minutes are up?

I was wondering if this is possible to essentially "pre-load" the game and avoid the weekly Tuesday network slowdown that happens after the update.

 
Trying to find some decent pics of the LBP DLC I found out that the official site actually has the biggest and best pics of the stuff which was a shock.  Also, the Marvel level kit is supposed to work with LBP and LBP2 according to the official site.  They also list what the actual individual pieces are for each DLC too which is nice because a couple I was looking at were just whole costumes where a lot of them are pieces.  Though the Gravity Rush pack doesn't seem to be on there and that's the one I wanted better pictures of in the first place...  Trying so hard not to spend $30 on cosmetic LBP DLC. >.<

Nice set of deals, especially for PS+.  I'm already in the process of selling/trading my disc copies of several games (some still unopened of course) and will replace them with the digital versions and pocket the difference.

The PS+ freebies this month are not all that great (IMO), but that's OK - I've still got plenty from before I haven't gotten to yet.

 
Managed to restrain myself to $10 of LBP spending in the form of Watchmen, Journey, Marvel Pack 3 and the Cross Controller thing.  If they're still on sale when I get up I might cave on the Gravity Rush and Marvel Pack 2 sets, I just wish there was a character other than Spiderman I wanted in that one.

 
I need a new hard drive. The instant game collection is giving me a steam complex. I've deleted so many games and old installs to make room for new ones.
 
Hey does anyone know if the Alice return to madness will let you access the Original Alice? Since EA basically gave away the Alice online pass I hoping that it'll let us access the Original Alice. Does anyone know? I wouldn't mind spending $4 on both afterall.

If you're a Star Wars fan, I would say so. It's very short and pretty linear, so $5-$10 is pretty much all it's worth. I haven't beat it, but I had enough fun with it to warrant a $5 purchase.

Sure. As long as you go in knowing that it is inferior to the original in most departments. It is still totally worth $5. I felt pretty burnt buying it for full price day one, though (it's really short).

 
The toy story Littlebigplanet level kit is leaving psn this month. It is also apart of littlebigplanet 2 special edition. If I use it on the special edition of the game, can I use the level kit in other littlebigplanet games?

That's because the thread is for retail games that are offered on PSN, which doesn't apply to The Walking Dead. I'd assume that they made the retail version compatible with digital saves, which should mean that they work the other way around. But all I can say is that you won't have to pay to try it out for yourself.

It's the online pass for Madness Returns, which lets you play the original game from within. Just look at the add-ons and it's the item that's free right now.

Out of curiosity is there a particular reason more people seem interested in Lego Batman 2 for Vita than PS3? I was leaning that way as well but the reviews I saw indicated that it's basically the 3DS version and not a scaled down PS3 version like you would expect. If I'm mistaken about that I would still prefer the Vita version but I'm just curious since there seemed to be a lot of desire to get the Vita one.

Probably because it's a cheap Vita game to add to the collection, or maybe because people (myself included) feel like Lego games are good pick-up-and-play Vita titles. I already have the PS3 version, so I'm only interested in the Vita version, and at $5 I think I'll bite. But the PS3 version is far superior in pretty much every way, so if you only want one, I'd go with PS3.

 
why am i getting "You are not eligible to purchase or download this content." when trying to download the LBP marvel packs? and why are all the vita things showing as full price?

I'm enjoying the PS3 version of Lego Batman 2 but you can't beat $5 for the Vita version. It also makes for an easy plat.

 
Ah damn, I ended up buying all the LBP level packs and a few costume packs earlier. Glad I did, was about to get the Marvel pack when the price shifted.
 
With Lego Batman 2, is the story pretty much the same between the versions?  Is it worth getting both versions without taking trophies into account?

Like the Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 (Vita), Lego Batman 2(Vita) is a port of the 3DS version. It's not an open world like the PS3/360 versions.

 
If any of you are like me and play a lot of handheld stuff on your iDevices, Lego Batman 2 dropped to .99 on the App Store and it is the exact same game as on Vita. The controls take time to get used to, but I got through both Lego Harry games on my iPod and iPad and I avoided Lego Batman 2 figuring it would drop. I'm glad the iOS version dropped the same day as this one as that $5 was going to be tough to pass up.
 
It was a retail release, so it had a Platinum. I think the only exception to that on the Vita is Lumines, which was a problem in the development side since it was a launch title and they were still learning the ropes.
