I guess is good to know that there are annoying kids on PS too... This next gen of gamers really are bad w/ camaraderie. I guess having no physical human interaction while playing games / other people really has taken even discussing something about games to annoying stupid levels.
You asked a question that nobody can answer, so you don't need to get salty about people around here poking fun at it.

Been out of touch for a while so please pardon the lateness of what I'm about to ask since I suspect the Persona sale will end later today.  I have never played any of those games so I did some reading but am still left with some questions.

I see Persona 3 Portable is an enhanced port of the original Persona 3 (PS2), not Persona 3: FES (PS2) which itself is an expanded version of the previous version.  Which one should I get instead?  Or both...yeah, playing the same game twice but is the extra/expanded content worth playing twice for?

I just spotted Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (PSP) (no "Shin Megami Tensei" in the title) in the PS Store on my Vita an hour ago...also 9.99 but I don't see it mentioned in the OP.  Is that not the discounted price?

Any info would be much appreciated.

EDIT:  Found the major differences for Persona 3 versions on another site so never mind that part.

This whole thread has been sarcasm/slidecage since the speculation around this month's update started.
We've all been infected with slidecage syndrome. It makes us all have the uncontrollable urge to use sarcasm...and piss on our vitas. Or anybody's vita if you don't have one yourself. What is going to happen to us...

This thread was full of jerks long before Slidecage ever showed up. :)

HEY! This thread is full of awesomely awesome people (myself included). :grouphug: <----this thread

With that being said, Slidecage is probably gonna beat us all to death with his vita or another handheld device one of these days lol.

No, but you can easily back up the save from a PSP or Vita to your PS3 and from there to a USB drive for more back-up options or just straight to a PC if you want.

To answer your original posts, saves for PSP games, Minis, and PS1 Classics are all completely separate from the game file, so feel free to delete the games to save space as needed.

I'd say no probably not, since it was never an option on the PSP.

No, you can't upload them, but you can copy them to a PC or PS3. PS1 and PSP game saves are stored separately from the game data as well, so you can delete the game and the saves will stay. Then if you redownload it later the saves will be waiting (unless you specifically delete your PSP game saves at a later date, or your card gets corrupted).

EDIT: Whoops. Looks like Frisky actually answered this already, but it was several pages later and I hadn't gotten to it yet in my thread-catch-up.
Thanks a lot for the info, everyone! You confirmed my suspicions. I need to remember to regularly back up my Vita to my PS3!

However, where on the Vita can I see a list of PSP game save data? I'm assuming it's buried somewhere in the Content Manager app?

Man, PSN needs to have another "Spend $50 get $10" sell. I've been eyeing some stuff for awhile, but I can't go and pay full price without getting something in return.

Its just not in me.

I just started Tomb Raider and after an hour and a half to two hours I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep playing the game. The flashing that happens at all these different points is giving me a migraine.
That stinks maybe do half an hour to an hour sessions?...it's such a fun game.

Thanks for the reminder about this! Just ordered a $20 card for $18.50. That will get me Guacamelee and the Stealth Inc DLC with a little left over.

Yeah, I'm going to give it another try today and see how it goes. Could have just been exacerbated from being tired or something since I've never had that happen with a game before.

Good info, but I was lucking for PSN credit since I already have ~$80 in my PSN wallet.

Like 3 $20 PSN cards plus what was left over from last time I bought a $50 because I always save my RZ certs for the last week before they expire and there is never anything good for sale.

There was one in March/April right? Last time I participated in one, it was in October/November of '12 I think.

Don't recall seeing it mentioned but LBP fans, and those that obsessively claim all things free, the Perseids costume is returning for free when the store updates and will be gone again next week.

Only copy of Rayman Origins I had was on my now-dead 360, so it may be this is a great opportunity to pick up the PS3 or Vita version.  But which is technically better?

To be honest it's really just what platform you would rather play it on. It looks beautiful on both.

I think ps3 version has co-op multiplayer but don't quote me on that.

I think the only significant differences I've seen are that PS3 has local co-op and Vita is portable. It looks fantastic on the Vita though and is one of those games that is perfect for the system and really makes the screen look amazing.

i've only played rayman origins on the vita, and loved it... but i've read many people post that it's better on vita for various reasons related to it being perfect for the vita screen.

one improvement i am certain about is that being able to touch-pickup the bubble things is very, very nice.

Yeah I forgot about that. Didn't use it a lot but there were times where you could use it to get a much better chains of red lums that you could have without it.

I actually like today's Plus update and deals. And maybe no free games for vita, but sales of them are just as good.

What are you talking about? Free Vita games are always at the end of the month. You can't expect a free Vita game every week. I thought we've gone over this.

I'll definitely be picking up the free dlc. I will get the game as well down the line, but am going to wait for a sale on this one. Too many other vita games to churn through. (Yeah I know. OMG he has TOO MANY vita games to play? HAhaHAHAaHa.....*drowns in vita piss*)

Yeah, I'm going to try and hold out for a DC discount out as well, but I don't want to miss out on the chance to co-op with people.
