You had to have signed up on their website for the beta to get a code emailed to you I believe. That's why I got that one. The other one came from the E3 Home event.

 
Liked the Katamari demo enough to spend $3.75 on it.  Not my #1 most wanted game to play, but it controls well (with the standard method) and seems like a fun enough game.

 
FYI, there will be a 64GB memory card for Vita announced presumably at Gamescom. The 4GB will be discontinued and every card gets it price lowered to the previous tier. 8GB will be the 4GB price, 16 will be the 8, 32 will be the 16, 64 will be the 32.



If that's the case it looks like I'll be returning the 32 GB one I just bought. I had a feeling that was going to happen, but didn't want to miss a good deal just in case.

Definitely a good price, I just have to resist since I haven't even touched my Katamari Forever (sounds really bad).

 
So. I have never played an Atelier game but am strongly considering pulling the trigger on Atelier Totori while it's on sale.

Have only found a handful of reviews on the Vita version. Does anyone have any thoughts on the game, good or bad? Any RPGs you would compare it to?

 
Well early impression of Kill Zone are that it might be the game shooter fans have been waiting for on Vita. I just can't play a shooter on a console, no good at it. Looks and plays great though, just not the kind of game I personally want my Vita for.

Reviews of the PS3 version are valid as well. Same game other than the Vita one includes the DLC.

I used the Lumia 900 (don't buy it without a protection plan, Nokia is not what they used to be, just google their dust and dead pixel issues and you will see, both of which I encountered). I use Word, Excel, pdf readers often so it has everything nicely integrated with Skydrive. The OS is beautiful and fluid, I can see the complaint about not enough apps, but for me as long as I have my basic needs satisfied I could care less for a bunch of banking and Starbucks apps and what not - I carry a ultrabook where ever I go due to work so never need to revert to using apps.

The 1020 I guess is the one they're advertising and it's supposed to bring back the amazing camera that was on the first Lumia and combine it with the goodness of the 900. I'm mainly interested because the main thing I ever use my phone for is texting, email and camera. Only app I ever use anymore is Endomodo to track my bike riding so long as I can get that I'll live. I just hear that WP is supposed to be a quality OS while just working which is my biggest gripe with all my Android phones. They work great for a few weeks than when I get a month or two down the road I want to hurl them against the wall.

Well it is still $20. I bought it because I like esoteric niche games and on a JRPG kick lately but would have been much happier at $10 or $15.

 
I can't get into a single Killzone match. I have the game pre-ordered @ Amazon but I may have to cancel. How is everyone here able to get matches? My internet is fine, I play multiplayer games constantly so I don't know what's up.

[customspoiler="Windows Phone"]Lumia is the only way to go when it comes to Windows Phone. If you can, go with the more powerful ones like the 900+ series, or that new 1020 that you're talking about. WP is a very nice operating system and I've enjoyed most things about it. Only frustrations I have is that the app store is still very limited compared to iOS and Android, there are plenty of apps/games I want that I just can't get because there's not a WP version. Also, I haven't been overly happy about Microsoft's support of the games portion of the phone. I think it could be a huge selling point for the phone (it's what sold me on it) but MS has kind of dropped the ball on getting quality Xbox enabled games on there in a timely manner.[/customspoiler]

I'm starting to think that all these PSN sales are just Sony telling me that they really don't want me to get a PS4.  Money spent on PSN credit is money that's not going in that direction.

still very much a rumor. i mean, sure, one is eventually coming out, and it's been rumored for awhile, but even the main leakers haven't said gamescom for sure.

Yeah, I wouldn't go counting chickens before they hatch when people expected a 64GB and price drops at E3.

 
PJM-UV Tower Collector Challenge was a beast on the vita version with all the extra towers!  Though not difficult once i realized there was only one way it could be possible...

Great game all around.  very much worth the money even though i'd played the ps3+dlc (but not psp) version before. 

If anything, too easy if you're a tower defense junkie, but that's not to say it's not a challenge.   Plus there's hardcore mode for those that want to be pushed.   My only complaint with this gem of a game is the lack of a plat... it deserves one.   Same with Lumines, actually.

See I like TD games and don't play them constantly but enough and I think the balance is just right. Easy enough to get through the levels but to rainbow everything and pass the challenges is hard enough to keep it interesting.

 
was there a PS store update the past day or two? I went to double check if there was anything to grab before it switched and i got a patch notice. i never like getting patches the day or so they come out in case somethings wrong. Im wondering when it was put out? I cant find anything on google

Not sure, I haven't run into any patches since the one to fix the disaster they put out a few weeks ago.

EDIT: tried the KZ beta, not bad, controls are actually impressive for these sensitive analog sticks. I got the first 3 kills of the match...but it was 3v1 and soon enough they were camping me. Turned the game off, will wait until I get home from work today and try again, hopefully with 4v4.

Is anyone having problems with the site. I'm trying to add some PS+ freebies to my cart but it keeps saying 'I'm not eligible to purchase this content.'

I recall seeing the store update patch notification on Saturday, so it's been out awhile. Haven't actually used the store on my PS3 since it came out, but I imagine if there is nothing on Google about it, everything's kosher.
 
Killzone: Mercenary is great on the Vita. Graphics look awesome, and it plays nicely. Haven't had any real issues yet. If anyone is looking to team up, please let me know!
