was little kings story ever getting a physical release? I hate digital but i dont think this ever got a cart release.
If it were going to get a physical release, it would've happened when it originally came out. The retail games in other regions that get digital-only releases here are going to most likely stay that way.

In for Dragon Fantasy. I'm getting more use out of my Vita (and having more fun with it) than I ever thought I would.

The 3DS XL has been collecting dust. Loving these sales. It's seriously time I upgrade from my 16 gb card.

I dig the idea of Star Wars themed pinball tables. However, Zen Pinball's physics are so awful that it's not much fun. Never understood why they couldn't fix the terrible ball physics. I tried the SW tables and while being pretty cool, they aren't really worth playing due to the Zen factor.

My Unit 13 grab on ebay worked out well.  This game is great.   Bit-sized FPS score attack type missions (multi-objective missions, stealth missions, speed assault missions, etc).    Combat solid and responsive.   The slightest touch of 'budget' feel, in part because it doesn't have killzone graphics and in part because the mission setup (and lack of central narrative) is reminiscent of the bad fps games on the ipad.  But in actuality, this is actually a blast to play.   Replaying the same mission to 5 star it doesn't get old for me (score is based on all sorts of multipliers and objectives -- you can have multiple score multipliers going on, like stealth and headshot chains for using a silenced pistol).

Far from perfect, but perfectly fun, which is exactly what i had been hoping for based on the demo.

any game that I should cancel?

DoA5+ $10
UMvC $10
DW: NEXT $8.75
NLKS $9.79
Divekick $7.99

Upcoming
Spelunky $11.99
Kickbeat $7.99

Upcoming Sales
Dragon Fantasy I $2.50
Tokyo Jungle (PS3) $3.75
Skullgirls (PS3) $3.75

Total $76.51
(add KZ: M for later too :/)

Are these any good?
Retro/Grade $3.75
Dyad $2.50
Penny-Arcade Adventures On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness Ep 1 & 2 $3.75

Does Dragon Fantasy I make sense for someone who did not play games of that time and genre in the past?  Is it to be appreciated mostly for the nostalgia of the game type or is there something anyone can appreciate from it.

All 3 of those games are worth the prices they're charging. If you skip one, I'd say Retro/Grade. But Dyad for $2.50 and Penny Arcade Bundle for $3.75 are extremely awesome games for those prices!

Also, like Frisky said, it doesn't matter that 3 and 4 aren't on PSN. If you get THAT into the series, then you can just get 3 and 4 on PC for cheap and play them.

Also also, I'm actually surprised that none of Zeboyd's games have actually been confirmed for Vita yet. They seems to love the system and reached out to the community to see about the demand of some of their older games was high enough to justify porting them to Vita. I haven't heard much about it recently, they must have decided to focus their attention on their new game instead.

Tokyo Jungle finally on sale!  I've been checking this thread for 8 months waiting for this moment.  I think I will pick it up along with Journey since it is well talked about and save the remainder of my $20 PSN wallet for the Halloween sale.

Wow, this is a great sale...kinda bittersweet I purchased skullgirls when it was $7+ and I only played about 30 minutes.  I'm looking forward to Tokyo Jungle, Journey, and Penny arcade.

Ended up with Blood Dragon, Nun Attack, and Little King's Story from this week.  Really hope PS+ doesn't make me regret that last purchase here in the next couple months.

After a week of thinking i decided to buy doa5+ and skip little kings story. i just have a feeling the game will end up on ps+ anyway.

if i really enjoyed Far Cry 3, and grew up in the 80s... is there any reasonable reason not to pick up Blood Dragon?  I'm really, really trying to resist because my wallet has been taking a beating... but I can't seem to come up with a solid reason not to grab it.   I have no desire to play it anytime soon, just at some point... but I don't know if we'll see a better price or not.

I enjoyed it very much and im 22 and have never played an 8 bit rpg. I ended up loving it for the humor in my review and looked past a lot of the smaller flaws that seem to come with 8 bit rpgs. i 100% it and put about 12 hours in, loved it the whole way through and am very excited for the second book (16 bit rpgs are my bread and butter) and the story from the first leaves a lot of fun questions for book 2.

They've said that they're probably going to work on something called Cthulhu Saves The World All-Stars for Vita after their current game is done, which will include their non-Penny Arcade RPGs and their sequels for $10. Right now, they're working on the engine for their new game to get them off of XNA, so they'll be able to put any of their games on any platform they want.

It will be on sale again sooner or later, I hope. At this point, I don't want to add any more games to my digital backlog.

little off topic but is  Penny-Arcade Adventures On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness 3 good

about how long of a game is it

you just gave a valid reason not to get it. you won't play it for a while. But its still a good price and I just started it last night. Good80s cheese. The music is awesome.

Well, it is kinda of fun. The whole 8 bit cutscenes started to wear on me a bit though. The music was great at first, then it just kinda stops being awesome. It eventually becomes a generic far cry game with dragons that shoot lazers.

I did not play FC3 and I still really enjoyed it. The game is short enough that the joke of it doesn't wear thin (I think its only 3-4 story missions long?). If you're cool with spending about 8 or so hours on madcap stealth gameplay then you can do far worse for $7. I believe there is a demo too.

I went with those 3 games as well, I'm going to play Little King's Story right away, that way if it gets added to ps+ I won't feel like I wasted money on it and I won't feel as cheated.
