How do you know its a price drop? I'm just really curious as to how people learn this, not doubting ya for a second. ;)

And how can a company afford such a permanent drop to $5. You could have dropped it to $10 and it still would have sold I think. Most games never hit $5 until years later ala Steam, XBL or PSN Flash sales.

I don't think an assassins creed game/dlc has ever been on ps plus. I am just afraid that freedom cry or liberation will be for free for ps plus.

Stick of Truth is an okay game. Pretty basic and easy. I only recommend playing it if you are a fan of South Park since it is basically an episode of that.

I haven't played Freedom Cry specifically, but the game it's spun off of (ACIV) was a good AC game and it's the cheapest way to see if you like AC's style. The series is basically like if Batman: Arkham was an open world and had more jank/less polish.

 
Wow at South Park.  It almost feels like some kind of mistake...the digital version of a really solid, well-received, major release game permanently dropping from $30 to $5 in one week?

I havent watched the show since the first(!) season but decided to play the game anyway. I also just watched the movie for the first time last year and enjoyed that too. I absolutely enjoyed the hell out of the game though. I couldnt believe how funny it is. Plus Im not a fan of turn based rpg games at ALL, but this game is the exception.

Why is Jamestown+ Complete $2 on top of the regular price, instead of the sale price? Why shouldn't I just buy the core game and then the DLC separately to save the $2?

 
I wish Atlus would put stuff up at their lowest sale prices rather then keep putting them up on sale at higher rates then they've been at before.

For example I'd love to get Hexzy force and Crimson Gem saga to play on my vita despite already owning them on my psp but why in hell would I pay $7.5 for them now when I've seen them go on sale for $5 and apparently they've even gone as low as $3.5 even.

Using Firefox web browser instead, the PSN website would load, but I can't log in with my ID and password.  Strange!

Going to pick up Nocturne but what do you think of the Digital Devil Saga games? Surprisingly not much really good stuff on YouTube for them.

Digital Devil Saga is great. Nocturne is better in many ways, but I really enjoyed DDS. You live in a bizarre digital world with several clans at war with each other, and you're part of one of the clans. You have a party of characters (that will stay in demon form 99%) of the time. Large skill trees to customize your team. Cool dungeons, secret bosses, SMT style combat. There are other cool ideas, like some 'challenge' rooms that are kind of like pac-man 'eat the pellet' time trials that give you cool rewards if you beat them (only a couple of these per dungeon, skippable).

I had the same issue, I think it is related to cookies. Switch Chrome to incognito mode (ignores previous cookies) and it fixes it.

Picking up South Park, Nocturne, and both DDS games.

Fantastic week for PS3 which is getting way more play than my PS4. Can't wait for Bloodborne next week!

I just started playing it and I definitely wouldn't say its very good due to the following.

Extremely high random encounter rate

Stomach ache status ailment rng after eating demons.

Oh and the skill tree is kinda irritating since you have to pay to unlock abilities then get exp for them. Just way too much grinding.

Those are really hurting the game for me otherwise if you've played persona is very similar right down to ability names.

Its good turn based combat ignoring when you have to waste a characters turn because they can't do anything. I also Like that ignoring predetermined stat builds you can make the characters the same ability wise. If you go down your elemental weakness at get the the 3rd node it gives you repel ability which is very sweet for those familiar with persona.

Has anyone played the 5 Star Wrestling game yet? Thoughts on Echo Night?

I wish Sony's blog was easier to read. I always depend on Frisky's updates in the "What's in the PS Store" thread since his layout is so much better.

Yeah cannibalizm making peoples tummies upset at random being all the more hilarious.

The sucky part being you need to eat demons to get more ability points but getting this status ailment prevents not only eating but gaining points at all. It also causes the character to randomly be inactive during battle.

I had the worst luck in that I killed the hunt mission monsters ara mitama but got the status ailment so I got no ap after all that hard work :/.

Besides that nuisance you have to go to save points to equip abilities you want to learn and once abilities are mastered ap isn't rolling over into the next one. Its really annoying to do that since you never seem to be near a save point when you do.

the mantra system is basically final fantasy 10's sphere grid mixed with tales of graces title system but with locked out webs forcing you to think carefully.

Better than what? On the PS4 it runs at 1080p and 30 frames per second. It's the best console version if that's what you mean.

I absolutely loved them. There are a few lulls at parts throughout the two games, but the end of the second game is a great pay off. One of my favorite sets of games ever.

What the he'll Sony. Do I really need to create four PSN accounts to play with my family in my own house online? I asked this in the PS4 thread but didn't get the answer I was looking for. I want to just play online without assigning each controller a fake PSN account. Why isn't each controller assigned to my account?
