:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

next week if you don't have the season pass.

It's available for those that have the Season Pass. Everybody else has to wait a week.

If you go to its page, there's a button that tells you why it's not available for you.

RECOMMEND LAST MINUTE PSM GAMES:

Tokyo Jungle Mobile -- awesome game.  replaces free movement with 'grid based' movement, but the transition actually works and the game is solid.

Picbox (unlock is 50 cents) - solid picross game

Ambition of the Slimes, Grid Survivor, Fuel Tiracas, Super Crate Box, Adventure Bar Labyrinth, Bike Rider DX, Oh deer alpha, gunshouse, bullion blitz (unlock is 1.29, worth it)...., rymdkapsel, A healer only lives twice, cubixx, zoozoogo, passing time

NOTE -- i just bought something a minute ago so it's still up for now

Is Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess a new game, or is it the original game with more levels, or.. what is it?
" New stages: gym, hospital, and park!

- New Quest Mode: Discover the story of Velguirie, the Nightmare Princess
- Enemy Edit to create your own sacrifices
- All of the content of Deception IV: Blood Ties
...and more!

*Traps, abilities, and costumes acquired in Deception IV: Blood Ties can be carried over to Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess."

Every week I've been excitedly waiting for Yugioh legacy of the duelist to pop-up on the store since it's announcement, and every week I'm filled with sadness and dispair. 😰

Ahh I didn't the last bullet point!
Thank you!

Also, is it better to get Power Stone for the PSTV, or just get it for the DreamCast?

(I know some people who can get me a pressed copy of Power Stone 2)

Is Def Jam Fight for NY PSP compatible on PSTV? Its not on the compatibility list.

What is Capcom Fighting Evolution?
Terrible. But more specifically, Capcom dug a handful of fighting game characters out of the dumpster in the back of their office and stuffed them all into a game that looks like it was designed in MUGEN. If you ever wanted to pit the pro wrestler from Street Fighter III against a dinosaur with ram horns or a nautilus monster, now's your chance!

Thanks for the feedback on Capcom Fighting Evolution.

Wow, I forgot the Deception series existed.   Would love to see the original games show up as PS1 classics (When did 3 come out?)

Looks like a pretty strong week on PSN as there are lots of games I've interested in:

Max Payne
Attacking Zegeta
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
The Warriors
The Fall
Galak-Z
Street Fighter Alpha
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike: Online Edition Complete Pack
Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition

I'm definitely getting Max Payne.  The rest I'm on the fence about.

Attacking Zegeta and Galak-Z look extremely difficult and fun for maybe 5 minutes.

Is one Street Fighter Alpha better than another?   Is the 3rd Strike Complete Pack worth it?

I believe I have The Warriors (PSP) but for $2.49, it might be worth getting.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Angus hates Aliens (which reminds me of Age of Zombies), and The Fall look fun.

Suggestions?

Journey is an amazing game on PS3 anyone who never played it and is on the fence about getting the PS4 version, get it.

As far as the deals this week they look rather "meh". Kinda interested in GTAV for PS3 but I'm sure it'll drop significantly in another 6 months or so. Might grab Blazblue and Vice City Stories but I'm mainly hoping for a flash sale.

Deception '96

Kagero (Deception 2) '98

Deception 3 '00

Trapt (Kagero 2) '05

Deception 4 '14

Deception 4 Nightmare Prnicess '15

I enjoy the series, but at the same time it can be down right dull.

While I enjoyed 4, the fact that they didn't dub the lines or cutscenes bugged.... maybe it's me but I'd rather listen and read instead of just read while moonspeak is spoken.

That said, the ending you get all hinges on how you take care of one mission midway through the game. How you get rid of one of the invaders in that mission depicts which ending track you are now set on and it frustrated my roommate so much while we were playing that he got put on the bad track he immediately ejected the disc, packaged it and sent it back to Gamefly.

Sadly he's that way with anything. If a game pisses him off, he'll not only put it down and never play it again, he'll straight up trade it in, or even dispose of the game in some way.

Ok this is getting annoying.

When I click to post, nothing happens.. it acts like it never posted so I'll click again and double post.

If it helps, in Trapt, literally the BEST ending you could get was just stopping halfway through the game, murdering the only person who believed in you, turning your back on all this madness, and running away to live in peace. EVERYTHING else was worse. I don't think this series has satisfying story conclusions high on its list.

Still better than Nier though.

I enjoyed Nier the first time through, but the 4 times through was.. insane to say the least.

Since I'm late to the party, I'm only now getting around to grabbing a few PSM games for my Vita and all. However, I notice that most of them say that they require a new version of the PSM runtime package, it goes to install, and yet never does.

I've seen responses online about downloading other PSM games and opening them in order to kick things into gear, but off of the current crop I've downloaded it's been a no-go. Does anyone know of any titles that will work best to force the stupid runtime package to actually work, or is it just an exercise in futility right now?
