I want to know this too. I still have a sealed copy of the original game, but the DLC looks intriguing. I might finally open it near Halloween and do the DLC with the main campaign.
 
I had fun with it. Julie Kidman's gameplay is more stealth-oriented for the first DLC and there's some gunplay in the second one. I haven't gotten to the Executioner DLC, but I've heard good things about it. The letterbox removal patch makes a world of difference. I can't wait to play the main campaign without those stupid black borders.

I loved the main game, but it really is "Horror's Greatest Hits"

 
Is Bastion worth rebuying?
I enjoyed and hated it before, I loved the announcer but for some reason some of the game play felt uneven in both challenge and narrative

Though I played it when it was released on 360.

Gotta say it sounds like you made up your mind. There are no changes to the gameplay. Might look a little better but not even sure about that. It's a port. Not a "remaster".

I loved it. But sounds like you didn't. Not sure why you'd buy a game a second time if you didn't like it to begin with.

Sometimes there are fixed, adjustments or just feels better.

Supposedly Odin Sphere is being completely rebalanced when ported to PS4.

Ports can be rebalanced and optimized, making it a slightly better or worse game.

Such as things that didn't work being adjusted or removed to work better on the new release.

Which is why I asked, there were certain areas that just didn't feel right to me, along with odd spikes in game play and difficulty.

 
You said you hated it so why would making it "slightly better" make you want to rebuy it. It's the same game. There is no reason for you to buy it again on PS4 if you didn't like it on 360.

This will sound insane, I always wonder "What am I missing?"
Like there are some acclaimed games like Deus Ex (and Human Revolution) which were raved about, and I just couldn't get into them or enjoy them.

To the point, I've played them a few times and just came away flustered. I keep wondering what am I missing?
(Also for the record, I like stealth games, and enjoy the occasional FPS, but have a lower tolerance)

I wonder if I didn't give it enough of a chance, or etc.

But yea, it was a love/hate Bastion.. as I said, I liked and hated parts of it so my impression came out mixed.

Also yes, I fully agree that it is what makes us individuals.
However, when something is so universally praised and I don't see it or find it.. I wonder what I am missing, you know?

I am incredibly opinionated, and give everything a chance but.. sometimes I wonder if I am playing the same game.

Though some games, it might be due to me missing something or my play style for that game, or just aren't my style of game.

(My first Human Revolution, I tried going no kill, there was another game I was loving recently and never knew you could level your weapons which made it blazingly easy and I was already 70% into the game)

Well N++ is exactly what I was expecting so far.
Now I need to see if I can get my friend to come over some time so we can do the co-op levels like we did on N+ on 360

I noticed that too.

Yes it was. Maybe they're tweaking the list or something. Don't get me wrong there are a couple of things caught my eye but that's an odd list of games for a premiere summer sale. A lot of these have been free PS+ too

Lots of indie and yeah a lot of it has been PS+ or extremely cheap during flash sales. There's still a handful of games I would buy at the right price (ie 75% off).
