:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

Which you will be paying the same $60 for them both.
Lost song retail and hollow fragment digital though.

I'm having the same thought. Do I pay the $60 and get them both digitally? Or just get hollow fragment now and wait for lost song to drop in price later.
The pre order bonus seems to be a Sony deal, so I doubt anyone else will do the same bonus for the retail copy.

I have hollow fragment on vita, do I really want it on ps4? The big question...
My other main reason is I don't have Hollow Fragment and want to make sure I like the series before getting Lost Song.

Deadpool finally got a sale price... $20. :oldman:

Bought Jungle Rumble, Dragon Fantasy bundle, Flame Over, Rock Boshers, Pundle, and Under Defeat so far.  Still considering:

Unmechanical - Have it on PC but much more likely to play it here

Nihilumbra - Looks pretty interesting, leaning towards it

Don't Die, Mr Robot - Not quite sure what to make of this one

Breach & Clear - Know it was well received on mobile but hear there's big technical issues in the Vita port

Bloodrayne games - Am I really going to play these?

Got my hopes up when I launched the store, over 50% of the games have been given away on plus. They are great deals don't get me wrong, I never would've played and loved Dust if it wasn't for plus. Anyone think Deadpool is worth $20, or is there any hidden gems like dust I may have missed?

I'm glad to finally see ps1 and ps2 games getting sale prices. If only one day death jr for the psp would ever go on sale... One can dream.

Edit: don't type these on your phone, auto correct is an annoyance. Looks like EldritchOnRye gave some good onsite into the sale games. Thanks mate, I'll check some YouTube videos on the games to see if they're my type.

Probably not. It's supposed to be a one play through sort of game, about 7-8 hours, and of middling quality depending on how much you like the character. It's also available physically through Amazon for $20 still. The main draw was that it was delisted and out of print but since they're bringing it back to coincide with the movie I'm waiting for $10 or less.

Half the items on sale I apparently got from PS+ or bought from a previous sale.

I don't recall playing half of them, doh!

PSN sales are great for suckers like me.

Still tempted to buy Guacamelee on the Vita even though I bought and played it on the PS4.

Dead pool is worth $20 for physical because you can resell it for that much. Digital though, it's a one and done game
Can you? New through Amazon is $20 for PS3 and $25 for 360. According to Amazon price tracking it's been available new through Amazon and third parties for $20 or less since this time last year.

Went to buy under defeat... and already own it.

Probably grabbing several games.  Definitely Breach & Clear, played that on steam and will replay for trophies.  Tetris is a bit overpriced, but it's tetris so it'll hold value and likely never get much cheaper.  And trophies for tetris sounds cool.    flame over, probably.   Puddle, if i don't already own it.  Rock Boshers.    Maybe Boss.

How is Risk PS4?

How is That Trivia game ps4?

Sorry I phrased the wrong. It has held its value and I've seen it sell for $15-16 on eBay due to the de listing. It also consistently trades in $8-10 at GS, so you could recoup some of your cost.

If you're a deadpool fan it's a lot of fun.

I enjoyed Deadpool, even played through it a couple times to get the plat..  that said it only took a couple evenings to get the plat and once you do you likely aren't going back, I would agree with others and say buy it physical so you can resell it or do what I did and GameFly it.

I've only played maybe an hour of it on vita, so I'll be playing it for the next few days now to see if I want to drop any more money on the game/series myself.

It's the "free" bonus that's getting me I guess lol.

anyone know if pure chess is cross buy? It's only on sale on ps4...

hmm.  same question re: Rock Boshers.

I guess, but being back up online and possibly reprinted won't help that when it's value was from being OOP.

Rock Boshers is since I bought it earlier and got both versions. Pure Chess is not to the best of my knowledge.

Check the OP.

I really appreciate the fine work that Frisky put into reorganizing the OP. Yellow text for PS+ discounts is much more accessible than separate lists. Well done, sir!

It amazes and annoys me that when you click on all sales, The Prototype Biohazard Bundle is $50 on PS4. In what world is that a deal?

It's like The Last Tinker: City of Colors always showing up every week under deals. Why not just price it $9, I know the own answer to my dumb question is deals sell more, but it's still one of those little things sony should take care of.

RANT: I've been loading my PS3 with all the digital games I own and I have to fish through hundreds of pages just to find what games I own, for that matter some are demos/unlock so I don't realize I own it till it's a few pages back.

Check the OP.
Don't think you understood my question.
I know BloodRayne will be on sale this week– I'm asking if it's any fun to play any more? I know it wasn't exactly a "polished" game when it was released but I still had fun with it. That was 15 years or so ago, so I'm worried my memories of it are rose-tinted.

I wasn't quoting you.

Pretty much nothing in the sale that I'm interested in that I haven't picked up already in previous sales. I've got a group of games I'm waiting to go on sale (Badland, Grim Fandango, Red Goddess, Shantae, Shovel Knight, Sparkle Unleashed, White Night).

I did pick up the Never Alone DLC and the King's Quest Complete Collection. I have no previous history with the Kings Quest franchise but I looked at some articles and it looks up my alley.

I enjoyed the game as well, I really felt it was trying to be a parody and mochery of other games in that genre.

The only down side to the KQ series is the Sierra Logic..

How do you defeat the Yeti? With a pie of course!
Remember that rat on the first screen? Well if you didn't chase off the cat, now in a later scene you can't beat the game!

(KQ5 refs)

LOL at the Deadpool "sale." I would have picked it up if it were $10. Oh well.

I did get Breach & Clear. Been wanting to play that for a while. I almost got it back when they had it on sale for $7.50. I'm glad I waited. Might pick up either Resident Evil 3 or Breath of Fire IV with the remaining money on my PSN account.

I'd consider grabbing Rainbow Moon if they made the PS3 version that price, but if I picked up the Vita version for if/when I buy a Vita I'd probably grab Monster Hunter as well.

I'd get Breath of Fire IV if I didn't already own it.

Only Under Defeat looks interesting, Possibly Flower cuz I loved Journey and Hyper Void looks kinda trippy/cool.

Most likely won't end up spending anything this week though.

EDIT: Any thoughts on Smash Bros. PS Edition PlayStation® All-Stars Battle Royale? It looks like a heavy SSB knock-off but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

So.. Flame over. How is it really?

Just watched a few video reviews, mixed. Camera/controls may be a little quirky.

IMO it looks fun.. but if there are control issues.

I watched EastX stream it a couple times when it came out and it looked fun enough that I bought it when it finally went on sale.

Speaking from experience on the 3DS version, Tetris Ultimate is an extremely competent, workmanlike version of Tetris with enough geek options to satisfy the guys who want to emulate that neckbeard from the streamshow but not enough to satisfy that neckbeard from the streamshow whatever. I enjoy it a lot.

Bloodrayne 1 and 2 have PC ports that work well. I don't much see the point of getting them here but they are solid, fun games for B-tier.

Under Defeat is an instabuy. Not a shump I was that attracted to on release but at that price? Heck yes.

EDIT: Flame Over is a pretty decent little game about hitting fire with water. It's not hard though. I cleared it, extracted the soundtrack, and never will go back.

Also, Jiryn, you're triggering me with Sierra adventure game memories. I will always defend Lucasarts and never Sierra except for QFG4.

And even QFG4 had bullshit. Hope you checked the inn at night and noticed that dude in the corner of the otherwise empty screen. And the town, literally around the corner from the chief's building, has a building that has a murderous monster on it that will kill you if you try to enter. Apparently this isn't a problem for the townsfolk because they are all Russian and living in shitholes is normal for them.

Reminds me of Trine play wise, feedback on how you like it would be cool cause I'm debating that as well.
Ended up testing the game out a little while ago when I had some down time. I'm going to give it a pass... it's not for me. It's a brawler game that feels like it has touches of Smash combined with a bit of Playstation All Stars. Not my cup of tea.

Ok so I bought Double Dragon Neon but yet it's only given me the demo and doesn't show up as purchased on the store yet my wallet had the $2 taken out and I got the e-mail thanking me for my purchase. Am I missing something here?

It's been pointed out that for those who own the game, it's showing up as unpurchased..

It's.. weird.

Pinball Arcade sale incoming:

Would be nice to have sales on Season Three and Four instead of repeats, but anybody that has been waiting for this should hop onboard next week.
What are the best of the best tables in S2? I already bought Terminator by itself, so it becomes harder to justify season price passes... I'm not as familiar with the rest of the S2 tables as I am most other seasons.

I think I can hold off given the sale price is $20. $10 would have been instabuy.
