Which Prinny is better? The only thing I hear about the second is the voice acting is bad. Also, is Disgaea Infinite a pretty good story or just skip it?

Lag behind? What? You might as well say "The Xbox 1 doesn't allow you to easily change it's internal harddrive, why does MS always lag behind? Damn you MS for not adding a wanted feature!"

They each have their own method. Some prefer one or the other -- i'd personally much rather change out my internal than have another device in my setup. Others prefer external. World goes round.

Flying Hamster is a hard as hell cute shmup. If you like shmups, get it.

Furmins is a physics puzzler. Worth it cheap if you like casual physics puzzle games. i bought it day 1 because it's from housemarque and i got resogun for free so wanted to throw money their way. i enjoyed it for what it was.

Kung Fu rabbit is a solid platformer. Not the most interesting game in the world, but solid.

OMG Zombies is worth a shot. You need to kill all the zombies on the screen in crazy chain reactions... hard at first, but as you level up your abilities you'll create mad chain reactions. Easily worth a buck to see if you like it.

king oddball -- don't know yet, bought it this sale.

Grow home, 100%. I know it's not specifically a platformer, but I backed Yooka-Laylee and preordered the Ratchet reboot, I miss my platformer a darn it.

It would be nice to change the internal drive, but being able to just plug in a new external is pretty great. I have two connected to my XBox One and one external connected to my 360. It was a serious pain point before that was added. I upgraded the drive in my PS4 to a 2 tb, but the 2.5" format is limiting. I have 5tb total in my Xbox One right now and I'm already 70% full. When I need more space, I'll just upgrade one of the drives to a 5tb. I used the old hard drive in my PS3 as an external drive for the Wii U. Considering the other two big console platforms can do this, it sure would be nice to be able to do it on the PS3/PS4 too.

I'd say that the ability to plug in an external drive is far and away the better solution if you value having the most storage you possibly can. Weighing the ability to have 2+ tb of space against the downside of having to put something else on your entertainment shelf makes the extra hardware seem very trivial IMO.

Speaking of hard drives, my 250gb hard drive on my ps3 has run out of room. Will I be okay with a 500gb or should I spring for the 1tb? I'm just hoarding the ps+ games now, not buying many new digital titles for it.

I've personally had PS+ since mid 2013 and my 2tb drive is completely full in the PS3. You aren't spending too much more for a 2tb drive. I'd go for that. You don't need anything fancy. It's been demonstrated that a 7200 RPM or hybrid drive don't give you much benefit. Just get a cheap 5400.

Thanks! I'm currently looking at $40 for a 500gb and $60 for a 1tb in the western digital blues 5400. The price difference isn't much, but $60 isn't what I'd call cheap. My game budget is pretty squeezed right now though, so I may just want to wait a bit longer.

So far I'm really not liking Everybody's gone to the Rapture game looks great but it's not fun at all and it's a zombie game it's like the game sword but you don't do anything and you just walk around and there's yellow light ghosts that talk

I have Grow Home on Steam and while it looks cool, there isn't a ton of depth there. But my 3 year old really liked it, so if you are looking for a good platformer for the little ones I would recommend it.

Both of the other titles look really interesting and would be better candidates for PS+ (IMO), but I'm guessing a cute robot will win out in the end.

Get the 1TB, it'll easily be worth the extra money for peace of mind/future proofing. I'm sure we'll be getting free Plus titles for PS3 for the indefinite future, even if it's just cross-platform indies.

Think my vote is for Zombie Vikings, loved Stick it to the Man, and per the video it's a pretty lengthy game and just looks fun.

 
Wow I didn't know Armello was making it to the PS4 so soon. I backed the project, but I wanted it for my tablet. So far the game has been fun on PC and the art is pretty solid

Have you played either?

dmc4 se is more hardcore and true to the series' roots. It's more challenging and offers more replayability IMO. It also has 4 different characters to play as. If you want the platinum it will be one of the most difficult as you have to beat bloody palace without getting hit (101 floors iirc, including bosses) plus SSS ranking all missions which requires precision. Don't think I'm downing it though because on 360 I played it like 6-7 times through.

dmc de is more newbie friendly and I really liked it. Purists hated it but whatever, it controlled great, had a cool soundtrack and the story wasn't terrible. Combos were flashier and easier to pull off. Trophies are much more manageable as well.
 
Too bad there's never additional PS+ discounts on the Squenix stuff.

Everything's off the sale page but still has the prices if you search it. I literally forgot to buy anything from the second week of the summer sale until about two minutes ago.

It's very funny how prototype 1 is 29.99 and 2 is 39.99 = 69.98 or you can do the bundle for 49.99
