checked psprices for random drops, and handball 16 popped up. i'm actually really tempted to buy it now after watching a video on it. looks like an interesting mix of basketball and soccer.

 
These are pretty cool.  Topps released an Archive series this year using past styles on the designs of the cards.  I usually buy a few Target boxes of the Heritage series every year because of that and then a complete set of the regular Topps series.  Anyway, in the Archive series, they released a Bull Durham insert set in the style of the 1988 Topps cards.  Most aren't autographed but here's what a few look like.

I'm gonna try to keep doing these videos for IA's YouTube presence instead of just archiving Twitch streams. I'm still pretty rusty at them. I tried to pre-record this one then do the audio in Shareplay, but that was even harder because I wouldn't be able to time the game's transitions right at all. It's almost easier to just record live while you're playing.

 
I saw Walmart redhead again today. They had her pushing carts in the parking lot. She's way too hot for that. She even stopped by my car and waited while I got the last bag out of the cart so she could take it, so I'm pretty sure she's hunting for the D.

I was going to take a picture, but she was gone before I could turn off the shutter sound on my phone.

You know it's bad when you get in the car and the temp says 110. AC is the best thing ever!

My poor dog has been panting up a storm when I take her outside. I worry that the concrete will burn her paws and try to keep her in the shade. I bought a fan for the room so she doesn't get too hot when I'm gone. Leaving the window open wasn't cutting it.

- Recording commentary without a script and all in one track

Finally no more Borderlands talk.

 
Took my kid to see Ninja Turtles today since Best Buy sent me $10 towards tickets. I never finished the first one that came out a few years ago, so can't say how it compared. It was a dumb movie. Human characters are annoying and a lot of nonsensical stuff happened. Still don't like the design of the turtles. BUT, it's the first proper live-action Beebop, Rocksteady, Krang, Technodrome, etc. and the action scenes were okay, so maybe still good if you're a big turtles fan. Kids would likely love it. Not sure why they went with a PG13 rating. Seems like it could have been PG with a few minimal cuts.

I work. I'm no Pitfall.

My schedule had fire inspection prep on it for the whole day on Monday instead of normal customer visits. So my boss was in on this whole thing too. She had me thinking the inspection would be Tuesday. I've been getting the damn office and warehouse ready for the Fire Marshall to visit when I had free time last week. Must have been humorous for the office staff now that I'm looking back on it.

Finally had the chance to play Just Cause 2. Wow, they took Bionic Commando and made it better. I never liked that game, but I was pleased to have the ability to grapple hook people to death if I didn't want to shoot them in this game.

That being said, I don't like this game. It looks good, but the controls are floaty as hell. There are many times where I am jumping into the environment and, in one instance, convinced me this game gave someone the idea to create Goat Simulator: 

Here I am trying to get into a casino, but there is no entrance door. So now I am forced to grapple and I still can't get in. So I fall off the side of the building into a nook .. that leads to a waterfall. And I'm falling.

And falling.

And falling. And groaning with my legs and arms moving around as if I'm Octodad. 

This goes on for about 20 seconds and I end up in the ocean with a little bit of health left. 

Nice try, but I'll stick with Max Payne.

just cause 3 is better than 2 in every conceivable way except environment variety and performance. It's so good I don't even notice the screwy performance anymore.
