PSP AV Cables

CAGiversary!
I just got back into PSP gaming last week, got the white Star Wars PSP. I was wondering if the Sony component cables are worth it? My TV supports it, just curious if it's worth a damn?

I got them for free as a part of the RLS program. I dont use them very often at home, but theyre great for taking on the road cause you can use it to put movies on hotel tvs and such...

The picture is surprisingly good but you have to remember that the resolution on the PSP is like half your television.

So I would say if you travel a lot or can find them for $15 or less then they coudl be worth it.

If I find my set around here Ill try and hook them up and take a pic for you. I only have a 32 inch screen though...

I don't currently have the component cables for the PSP, but Monoprice.com does have them for a great price. Monoprice if you don't know, is a very good site to get quality cables for cheap. You can find others around CAG praising them for their cheap HDMI cables and other cables. I've used Monoprice at least 3 times in the past, and never had any issues.

I'll probably get the $8.70 cables, I'm just waiting to see if I can find something else to buy with it.

I broke down and got the Sony brand component cables, hooked it to my 42inch LCD. Not too impressed with these, I find myself playing games more on the PSP itself because the graphics look better. Some of these games were just not ment to be stretched out I guess.
