Okay.. I have an older PSP (I think, it's 1.5 firmware version) never really get around to play with it (got it from a trade here on CAG 
) and now I just received the new PSP from those freebies site, so I assume that the firmware is pretty new (not sure which version they are up to now).
My situation is, that I'm planning to give one PSP to my brother-in-law (who's not a gamer, but Yep! think that PSP is cool ), but not sure which one should I give it to him. Is the 1.5 firmware still has the advantage of homebrew and playing backup games or the newer PSP can also do the same already? I really don't mind giving my in-law the new one since I don't plan to play the PSP for another while anyway.. but the potential is so high with backup and movie.. so either system work for me..
