Question about Devil May Cry Collection

I'm thinking of buying the DMC Collection on Sunday as part of Gamestop's Game Days Sale. But unfortunately for me, my PS2 doesn't play double layered(gold disc) games. And I was wondering if the DMC Collection uses regular discs? Or do they use the double layer (gold) discs?

I ended up getting this too. The disks aren't on DVD 9 disks so you're in luck.
