Question about selling my Wii

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered in the past, I couldn't find it when I was looking.

I am going to sell my Wii, I know that VC games are not transferable between Wiis but I wanted to make sure that then new owner of the console will be able to play the games. I don't want to list the games as being on the system if the buyer won't be able to play them.

If you have any sensitive information tied up into your Wii Shop account, now would be a good time to delete it. Basically if you ever put in a credit card number, make sure it gets out of there. If you just used prepaid Wii Point cards from stores, you should be fine.

VC games are tied to the console itself, so even if you or the next person deleted them, they'd be able to re-download them.

VC games can be tied to a MyNintendo Account, so if you ever linked those, you might want to drop that information also, but it probably won't hurt either way.
