Question about the Vita..

I have a question about the Vita and "remote play." I read that you'll be able to play any PS3 game on the Vita but my question is: will you have to be in the same room and stream it from your PS3, or (what I'm hoping for) do you "download" the game to your vita then could play it anywhere?

EDIT: I just saw this exact topic in the vita thread and it seems to work both ways but the internet doesn't work too well.

Playing PS3 games over Remote Play was just a rumor by Eurogamer that so far hasn't come true. It's exactly the same as the PSP's Remote Play for now, which lets you stream a few PSN/PS3 games and PS1 games.
