So, I am thinking about picking up a headset for use with the 360 (leaning towards the AX360), but there is one thing holding me back.
When on live, do the headsets function as actual Xbox live headsets? Meaning the voices of others don't come in quiet as hell. I thought I had a solution to avoid having to spend money by plugging my headphones into my t.v and leaving the official headset around my neck, but for whatever reason, voices come in extremely quiet. So quiet that I can not hear voices while actually playing COD4, but I can somewhat hear them in the lobby. The volume is maxed out via the dashboard, so its not that. I've also tried setting the voices to go through Speakers Only and Both, but no matter what, the voices are always quiet.
Do the Turtle Beach/Triton actually output the voices at the correct volume?
