Quick question concerning trading in

Hey all I was just thinking about something (shocking isn't it) and I realized that I want the CE version of Assassins Creed alot more than the normal. Seeing as though I did a trade 4 at blockbuster, and that they do not have the CE version, is there a way for me to trade in my normal edition AC anywhere and get a brand new game free (maybe say it was a gift?) I know i've tried at Rogers and have been denied, anyone know anywhere else?

Oh and if that doesnt work, someplace I can get the $59.99 credit towards rock band could work too. Thanks in advance.

Wal-mart takes unopened returns w/o a receipt I believe. You could always try there!
EDIT: Or, if you have the money, you could ask the BBV to switch your preorder to another game (Mass Effect, Uncharted... I don't know!) and then just buy the AC CE later.
