Resident Evil 4 $39.94 at Wal-Mart (Possible YMMV)

Was at Wal-Mart today and they had just received the game with tags for this price. The tags were on their "We checked our competitor's price and lowered ours to match the best available deal" thing.

As with any Wal-Mart, it's a possible YMMV. I say possible becauseit may be a nationwide thing as there is no place around here (maybe Fry's?) that has it for this price.

Sorry if this has been posted as I searched and couldn't find squat.

I think Fry's has it advertised for 39.99, so this could be for walmart stores that have a fry's nearby?

Yeah, my local Wal-Mart usually auto-adjusts to undercut Fry's sale prices by a few cents.

I went to Fry's this afternoon and they were sold out and said all the other bay area stores were sold out too.

I then went to Best Buy in hopes they'd be busy and wouldn't call on a price match and just do it anyway. The girl was on the phone for around 10 minutes then came back and said "They said it was $38.99." and rang it up for $11 off. Sweet! (I had a $25 GC for both places I received for xmas...)

Walmart prices are almost always YMMV. On the plus side, I picked up a nice ~$70 6-person tent tonight for $15. If you are in Nashville, they still had some at the newish Murfreesboro Rd. Super Wal Mart.
