I wish the color was a darker red, but this is a pretty good deal since they are giving all this without any markup from the price of the elite.

Anyone know if I can just take the 120gb HDD I currently have on my white pro one, and just put it on this new red 360? Will all my saves, content, and data just work as normal? Or do I still have to get the transfer kit and transfer my old stuff to the new 120gb HDD?

Yep everything will work fine, you can use the license transfer tool if your not connected to live all the time.

I don't believe you can transfer data from a 120GB to a 120GB. You may need to use a memory card multiple times to transfer saves.

I think its quite ironic that RE5 stuff is coming out in Friday the 13th with a full moon.

Wish I had known you could transfer from a 120 to a 120, would have saved me quite a bit of time.

I have been waiting on confirmation, and I'm happy I did. Just now I was deleting old emails and came across a 5% off coupon from Buy.com (that at least looks like it can be applied towards this) that I received from them after a purchase back in January.

The most interesting thing I've seen from these unboxings is that there are apparently 3 different boxes used for it. The picture posted above, and then the 2 processing videos, all the boxes are different.

Oh and I like 9 minute video guy's box the best lol. I hope I get that one. WHOOPS, another edit, I stand corrected. 2 different boxes, the first is just a sleeve over the recycled original elite box. So again I hope I get that box the other guy got.

That one guys box is a Europe box, you can tell by the game rating on the front of it.
 
Damn, the boxes are different?! I'm a huge RE fan and one of the reasons I ordered this bundle was cause of the cool box they were advertising this bundle as having.

I already have a perfectly working Elite and also ordered the PS3 CE version to play, so I don't even intend to open this thing and keep it sealed as part of my RE collection.

If I get the standard Elite black box with a RE5 sticker on it I'm gonna be pissed.

Assuming they didnt cut up a "real" RE5 Edition box and stage it over an existing Elite box just to get Youtube hits.

Has there been any other sightings of these covered boxes?

Anyone know if Costco will be carrying this bundle? I prefer buying there due to their return policy / warranty, but I'll buy from Best Buy if I have to...
 
My box just got delivered to me at work and when I opened it up, I had the RE box. Not an Elite box with a sleeve.

Haha. See my blog. Pics have been there since before that post. I'm just trying to avoid filling this thread with generic pictures.
 
Saw mine that I will be picking up on Friday at Gamestop Tuesday when I was picking up something else. They brought it out from the back to show me, it had a full RE5 box, no sleeve.
 
woot mine showed up today. Now I just need to wait 3-10 days for the hard drive data migration kit so I can use the 120gig drive rather than my old 20gig one.
