I don't know either, but he's taking all the heat on demoman and putting it onto himself.

I, for the record, hope that he's under 11.

I know that MySpace seems to be the rage right now, but around my school most people have a Xanga, myself included. There are literally hundreds of people with Xangas posing as professional wrestlers.

And perhaps the most ridiculous...

www.xanga.com/bret_thehitman_hart

"Bret Hart is going to be a 5 Star Comics on Friday. RVD invited me and I accepted. You know what I think, HBK did that to Mr. Flair. HBK, you punished me by cheating your way into the WWE title in Montreal, but you won't get your way this time. Vince isn't on your side this time. I wish I was coming back to the WWE, oh wait maybe I am....you will just have to wait and see. I will post pix of me and a few of the superstars today later. Right now, reminising on a few memories."

RomanCohort...do you have one of these?

Hmm... just remembered. Isn't Scorch going to RAW tonight? If so, what are we going to do about RAW chat?

By the way, this message was brought to you by Saucy Jack's rasslin' news, which is in turn brought to you by:

Reno 911! Catch the Season 3 marathon tonight at 6 PM Central Standard Time, and catch the season finale tomorrow night at 9 PM CST. What will happen? Will everyone die? Will Craig be executed before Trudy marries him? Will Trudy marry Saucy Jack? Will Jack go for a cheap pop to end this thread? Find out on Comedy Central!

(Mick Foley voice)

It is so great to be back here... in Ric Flair's wrestling topic!

Yeah. Leaving in an hour or so. I'm starting the Raw chat right before I leave, just gonna leave the XBox on in the chat room. If it bumps me off of Live because of a connection failure or something.. dunno what to tell ya. But yeah, i'm going.

Have a great time at the show. Where are you sitting, anyway? And make sure your "Saucy Jack's rasslin' news" sign is visible. :)

Are you going to record the chat session to listen to it later? If you're not, it's OK. It's not like we're going to talk about you or anything... or are we?

You know, that would be a pretty cool idea. A bit of work, but cool nonetheless...

Monday Night RAW: Special CAG Edition

We could make our own "Cheap Seats" type show. We always have great conversations while we're watching RAW, and maybe we could tape our chats somehow, and then sync them with a recording of RAW. We could edit the funniest/best parts into some clips, and put them for download, or on a DVD or something.

Well, I definitely also think that we should try to do some other chats or games with one another. If it wasn't scheduled tonight, I would have set up a Reno 911! chat for the marathon (well, even though I've missed half the season, maybe I'll set up one for the finale tomorrow). Scorch set up a 24 chat that seemed to go over well, so there's definitely an audience for XBL chats. By the way... watch Reno 911! and did I mention...

It's great to be back here... in Ric Flair's wrestling topic!

Well, anyways, onto another topic: played DOR 2. Great game! I've been having a blast with that game so far. Also rented Hulk: UD. Not a bad game either. I'd pick it up at $20, maybe $30. I love it when you rescue people and the Hulk sets them down, and then pats them on the head.

Alright, chat's up, i'm out.. how would I record the chat? At any rate.. I should have pictures upon my return.. so watch for those.. hopefully my digital camera doesn't get stolen by someone.. laaaaaaater
DOR2's been out for about a week, dude. and yes, for Gamecube
Zing!?

Ok yeah, for tonight I need to add some of the usual guys from the Raw chats just in case Scorch's room drops out or something and we need a new one. I don't mind setting one up or joining someone else's..so people like Ultimate Matt X, JimmieMac and the other usuals to the chat..ADD ME (gamertag xThaXecutionerx).
haha nice scorch is gonna be on raw :p

anyone know what signs he has ?
I don't take Scorch for much of a sign-bearer. Him even paying to be at Raw is fairly ironic in and of itself.
The announcers in the videogames are always terrible. But at least he isn't as bad as Lillian in the games. Her game announcing is always terrible. Remember Raw 2? She was audible when she said "Making his/her way to the ring" and then would almost whisper the rest of the announcing.
.
IIRC, that isn't Lillian. I'd have to boot it up and check, but I remember it sounds NOTHING like Ms. Garcia.
Alright, chat's up, i'm out.. how would I record the chat? At any rate.. I should have pictures upon my return.. so watch for those.. hopefully my digital camera doesn't get stolen by someone.. laaaaaaater
I was just joking, but if you did wanna record the chat, I suppose you'd hook up the Xbox to a recorder (VHS, computer, etc.) of some kind.
IIRC, that isn't Lillian. I'd have to boot it up and check, but I remember it sounds NOTHING like Ms. Garcia.
Yeah, it's Lillian. Terrible announcing, but unfortunately it's her.
another week without seeing raw.... sucks ass
TV problems again, huh? Well, are you still going to join the chat? And who's going to be chatting anyway? Is there a decent crowd, or should I just kick back and watch Reno?

is there any reason friday night SD is only going to be an hour this week? Is there still going to be a Thursday night smackdown this week?
im actually watchin raw now...im loving all these masters promo....

its the only thing im looking forward too tonight
Glad to hear that you are watching RAW after all. Sadly, it seems that Masters is going to job tonight. They are hyping him way too much. I'd mark out for him if he shut up Shawn Michaels.
is there any reason friday night SD is only going to be an hour this week? Is there still going to be a Thursday night smackdown this week?
SmackDown! is not going to be on Thursdays anymore. It is only 1 hour because a hurricane benefit concert is going to be aired. However, it's odd that the show is only 1 hour, since they are airing SmackDown! after the concert. I can understand only 1 hour if they were airing it before the concert (which was the original plan), but I don't know what's going on. Hopefully the live fans get an extra show and don't get cheated.

Still no listing on Ticketmaster, or on the TV ads, for Monday Night RAW here in Corpus. I'm confused. All the Monday Night RAW shows are listed on WWE.com as:

WWE presents RAW

Corpus is listed as: Monday Night RAW

Also, they scrolled a bunch of on-sale dates tonight. Several dates before and after Oct.10, but no Corpus. Also, the arena doesn't have any info. Will the show be canceled/moved? What gives? WWE needs to pull their head out of their ass.
damn ashley is messing up bad tonight
Yeah, but it was a fun kind of bad, like watching a Troma film.

This lack of a TV card is killing me... where would you guys recommend if I needed to 'obtain' tonight's RAW for PC viewing? The only place I know of isn't accepting sign ups for about two more weeks.
Sorry for double post, but I found some interesting news on RingSideMayhem:
Quote:
-- Sean Waltman, formerly known as the 1-2-3 Kid, X Pac, etc. will be meeting with WWE some time this week. The reason for the meeting however, is unknown. TNA is looking to sign Waltman, but due to his friendship with Vince McMahon and Triple H, not to mention that they have more money, it’s likely that he would sign with WWE if that's what they are interested in.

Sean is a long time friend of Triple H, and has stated on numerous occasions that he feels Triple H and Vince saved his life when they paid for him to go into rehab during his battles with addiction.

Sometime tomorrow morning.

Or, just go to the WWE site to get the gist of everything that happened.

Time for a quickie Saucy Jack's FAKE rasslin' news, brought to you by:

The Best of Al Snow... wait a minute! There is no such thing! MWAH HA HA!
Vince McMahon was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack during RAW. It is believed that he started feeling chest pains during the Torrie vs. Ashley match. That match has also already been voted PWI Best Match of 2005.

Vince's last words before falling to the ground and clutching his chest were a bit cryptic: "Quarter million... women's division... in the shitter..."

More as this develops...

What a craptacular RAW. The only bright spots were seeing Ric Flair acting stupid with Carlito... and seeing Shawn Michaels' bald head being sliced open. But as usual, he won't do a clean job to anyone...

Well, hopefully Scorch will have some good pics at least. :)

yea I ended up watching 24 through most of it because it was so lame. can't wait to see the first three seasons of that show in the coming weeks

There's definately something lost between the live experience and TV. I thought tonight was awesome, but i'm sure it came off as crap on TV. Maybe it just helps to be there with a couple thousand other people.

Yeah, i've got pictures. And video. Most of the pictures are blurry. Why? Because my camera already doesn't take still shots too well without a flash and you can only hold a camera so steady during Raw.

Like I said, I had a blast. It was great to be there. I thought about getting a Carlito shirt, but I just can't stand the thought of spending $24.99 on a t-shirt.

Rob Conway's theme reminds me of Randy Newman.

I thought I was the only one. I cheered for him during his entrance.

I'm going to do thumbnail pictures and links to the videos. Here we go.

=========================================================

Note: They played a Wrestlemania 21 DVD promo. Why? There was also a cool "Look at our characters" promo for WWE. Dunno if it played on Spike TV or not.. featured Carlito, Triple H, etc.. then said WWE Raw coming to USA October 3rd. I recorded the whole thing, but deleted it because I thought either you guys wouldn't care or i'd run out of room.

Gas prices are insane

The obligatory "WWE Raw TONIGHT!" shot.

Inside the arena

My seats. It looks a lot farther away than it actually is. But as you can see, I had a great view.

Interesting note, Grisham and Coach came out for Heat, sat down, put on the headsets.. then left. I guess they came out for the camera.

"Don't throw shit in the ring!" (Actually, she was saying get ready because we're going Live in a few seconds. Interesting note, Fink actually did not come out, they had a prerecorded message and it sounded like Uncle Eric talking)

The guys in white were local guys and got huge pops.. mainly because they were part of the first match AND from the home town. They won. I was pretty impressed with their work, they did some cool stuff.

And as I said, the pictures are almost all blurry, but you're about to see a new gimmick. I think. I'm not sure if he's been on Sunday Night Heat or Velocity with this.. but..

The man in the makeup, the man who came down in a cloak with his face shielded, is none other than.. Doug Basham.

Basham's victory pose after he beat Striker.

Rene Dupree fought Tajiri, but neither were picture worthy. Tajiri did the french tickler dance (that's what it's called, right?). At the end, Dupree did some move i've never seen before.. he like.. placed both feet into Tajiri's back and fell backwards or something.. it looked painful. You should watch Heat just to see this move.

Presenting the flags / national anthem

Lawler says "Scorch can't take pictures worth shit!"

Eugene

Blurry Flair and Carlito

I CAN take non-blurry pictures. Every now and then. Edge and Lita arrive at the start of Hardy/Snitsky

They ran the 'Doom' trailer

Chris Masters in a shot so blurry it almost looks animated

Shawn, a split second before the pyro

Dark match: Cena/Show vs. Angle/Snitsky.. Cena arrives..

Cena and Show in the ring. They won after Cena did the FU to Angle and Show did the chokeslam to Snitsky. And for the first time in my life, after ten years of going to a wrestling event.. I heard a Big Show chant.

==============

Other stuff:

- Starting a "Put your sign down" *clap clap clapclapclap* chant works very, very well.
- One guy came out and we had no clue who he was. He kept raising his arms.. and the crowd chanted in response, "Who are you"
- Took the elevator on the way out. They went to the ground floor. The doors opened.. and holy shit, I was backstage. As two security guards demanded that the person hold the elevator open, I jumped back in and took off.

Video time. Turn down your audio because the audio on my camera isn't the best in the world.

- Next to me, in what could've very well been a cruel joke by God himself, was four extremely, extremely overweight women. I'm not exaggerating their fatassness, as they walked past me, the third roll on their shin knocked over the woman next to me's drink. One mumbled a "sorry", but didn't even offer to pay for it. Bitches. So I extracted revenge. Sort of.

You see, these fat chicks marked out harder than Guyver in a Chris Masters marathon at ANY jobber. Hey, here's a random jobber that came out to no theme music or tron video.. and they marked.

But anyways, when the Heart Throbs came out, these fatasses danced. And shook the whole row. Honestly, I thought there was a tsunami or something. And they did this for everyone. They did it when Kerwin White came out. So I did my ninja thing and recorded their fatass dance for all to enjoy:

Next time, don't shake my seat with your fourteenth jelly roll and you won't be publicly humiliated on the internet. And pay for drinks you spill over, bitch.

I also recorded Cena's entrance. It cuts off right before he actually comes out, which sucks.. but it's still cool.

And for those of you who have never been to a Raw to see how unbelievably loud (and huge and bright) the pyro is, I recorded the entrance. I thought it'd be cool, and it was.

It didn'treally sound like her to me. At least Howard Finkel sounds good.

Cool pics and video clips, Scorch.

If it turns out that RAW is coming here and I get to go, I'll try to grab some photos for all of you. It'll probably be just photos, though, because my digital still camera only takes silent MPEG videos at a super-low res (about 160x112).

Those ladies remind me of this annoying guy that was at a RAW house show taping. He was huge. I mean, you put 2 or 3 of those ladies together and that was his size. Not to be mean, but I'm just trying to give you an image of his size.

Anyway, he was so annoying and would run/quickly walk from his seats in the back of the floor to the front row whenever a match would start/end. He would shove his way around and knock down kids and adults... what an asshole. The final straw came when Shawn Michaels made his entrance. The huge guy started jumping and dancing around. It got to the point where he knocked down several people and shoved a few people into me because he was jumping (and singing "Sexy Boy") and hitting people with his (as you put it) "rolls." This super-nice security guard that was stationed nearby (really nice guy; we talked to him a lot between matches) finally had enough and was about to escort the giant back to his seat... until, from out of nowhere this kid about 15 years old re-enacted a scene from "Enter the Dragon."

He yelled and did a Bruce Lee shuffle side-kick and knocked the giant down. Everyone started cheering, and they escorted the giant from the floor. Turns out later that they let him sit in one of the upper decks instead of kicking him out of the building. At least he got to see the show. Asshole knocking over little kids and making them cry...
It didn'treally sound like her to me. At least Howard Finkel sounds good.
Yeah, The Fink did good in that game. He had a little audio trouble in the same spots as Lillian, but he sounded good.

So, apparently Danny Basham's opponent (you said Doug, but I thought that Danny was the one on Raw) last night was Nigel McGuinness? Can you confirm this, Scorch?

He's a local guy (well, he's British, but he lives locally), trained by Les Thatcher at HWA; he's currently the ROH Pure Wrestling champion, having beaten Samoa Joe (!) recently.

I'd like to see him on Heat, even through the emotional trauma of being beaten by Danny Basham.

It may have been Danny, I don't know. I thought it was Doug Basham. Whichever, neither of them really matter. And yes, I can confirm that his opponent was Nigel McGuinness. The guy (from far away) reminded me of Chris Candido. He had black trunks with a UK-ish flag on the back of them. I didn't get a picture.. well, actually, if you look at the picture of Danny with his arms spread out, Nigel is at the bottom. But yeah, it was Nigel McGuinness.

Thanks, Scorch.

If you didn't know, there's a reason that Trevor Murdoch uses the last name he does...

hbk vs masters

cena vs for some reason im thinking jericho as he tries to get his job back or it will be a 2 on 1 match or 4 way match for the title

I wouldn't doubt an Edge/Matt TLC match.

If HBK works with Masters until October, i'm going to kill something/one.

Jericho's on tour and isn't expected back until Rumble '06. Expect Cena vs. Triple H.

I wish I had a dime for every time I read that someone thought Murdoch was drunk last night. Thanks for that photo, Myke. I was wondering if the two were related. Could've fooled me.

I'd kill something/one too if we'd have to be subjected to that. The only time I'd sit through something that bad with HBK, is if they bring back the Hitman somehow. If Bret came back, I'd even sit through Ashley vs. Torrie II: The Ironman/diva match.
I'd even sit through Ashley vs. Torrie II: The Ironman/diva match.
That diva match was by far my favorite of the night.

I'm NOT kidding, BTW.

Why was it my favorite? Because Ashley running the ropes reminded me of my childhood, when you'd get together with your friends and beat the snot out of each other inside the house. Ostensibly, the walls of the room you were in served as the "ropes," and I recall running at the walls, then gingerly "bouncing" off of them (without touching them), only to run back into a clothes line or something of that nature.

Ashley is getting paid $250,000 this year to do precisely what I did as a 7-year old. That's hilarious, in my opinion, and that makes it a 4-star match of the night.

FWIW, my wrestling career ended roughly around the age of 10, after my friend got a trampoline. I have a small chip on my skull from where my friend's teeth sunk in. ;)
