I just ordered a PSP-3000, arriving Friday, and want to get a Ridge Racer title. Does anyone have a strong preference between the original Ridge Racer for PSP and the R4 (PSone classic)?

I had Rage Racer for PS1 back in the day and loved it, and also greatly enjoyed Ridge Racer 7 for PS3 back in '07.
 
IGN rated the PSP Ridge Racer pretty highly... maybe check out their review or youtube for gameplay video.
