Rockband FYE 30 Dollar MIR

I went to pick up Rockband today couldn't find it anywhere but FYE and when the receipt printed up she handed me a 30.00 rebate form and said i get 30.00 back in the mail. I also got a free Backstage pass membership for purchasing it as well. So if you're in the market for rockband and going to pay the price anyways it's best to pick it up from FYE for the rebate and free membership

Can anyone else confirm before I haul off to FYE tomorrow morning?

Also, FYE.com lists their Rock Band price at $200 for the 360 and PS3 - could you confirm if this is the price you are getting the $30 off from, or if you are getting a $30 MIR from the SRP of $169.99, bringing it down to $139.99.

Sounds like something they would do. They did the same thing with the Sex and The City Box set last year.

at first it rang up 199.99 but the girl said "wait that's not right" and then scanned it again and it rang up 169.99

YMMV ... saw this deal at the mall. First just read "30$ Mail in Rebate when you buy Rockband" then I noticed it said "Only 199.99"
