Router deals?

CAGiversary!
Right now, it seems that my router busted...no idea why, wireless works, but the ones directly connected with wires don't seem to work. two computers and my xbox hooked up to it, and it seems only one of the computers was working (or so i've been told)

So no -real- loss in this piece of crap going...but anyone know any good deals, and what kind would be the best for supporting multiple wireless signals, as well as about 4 extra ports I can hook up to with wires?

Something that can deal with alot of usage between 3 computers and an x-box 360?
Quality of the product matters more than the price, but would still be nice to get a deal somewhere? Can anyone help?

Depends on what you really want the router for. I know you sort of said it already but any router nowadays will give you that. Your connection is usually the worst bottleneck. Do you want a router that has 10/100 or the faster 10/100/1000 wired speeds...does it make a difference to you? Is wireless 'N' a priority now or do you just want a wireless 'G' router?

I personally recently upgraded from my WRT-54GS to this E3000 and I am very, very pleased. It is expensive but its fast wireless and super fast wired so I like it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124388&cm_re=e3000-_-33-124-388-_-Product

Its usually around 180-199 so 150 is decent. I waited to buy it at CompUSA, with a 10 coupon they have for anything over 100, at that price . So I paid 140 + tax locally.

I've got the Netgear WNDR3700 Router if you're interested. It's still SEALED in factory plastic and never opened.

I was just waiting for my Linksys to die to use it but my Linksys is still trucking along. Plus I'm so use to the interface.

It's basically their top of the line router. Do your research on it and get back to me if it interests you.

Well for me I have a Mac Pro, so I was looking at reviews and noticed one where it said it had some problems with the first link (post above the one I'm quoting)

Mainly, my mac is wired, my xbox is wired (both in room, as well as router) and my sister has a macbook pro, and uses the wireless really, and i know in the future, another mac might be entering this household since my parents computer is about 15 years old, so I've been trying to get that junk out of the house. I'm also looking to hook up my blu-ray player, and see what kind of things that does (honestly haven't tried it yet).

plus this family can't live without a connection, so I'm probably heading off to the store in the morning so nobody starts complaining to me. (to post below)

Was looking at that specific link though, and not sure if they'll go for it, but hey worth a shot
