IBM also used the CELL (in a hybrid setup) to create the #1 supercomputer as of 2008 I believe. First to sustain petaflops...

As for developers, I believe Naughty Dog shared a lot of what they learned with Uncharted 2 with other first party developers and possibly some third party as well.

If anybody knows how to use the PS3's processing power, it's Naughty Dog. Everybody else needs to get on board.
